While having fun at the festival, Sanda and Konoha walked through the streets as they watched families and couples checking out the stalls that held games, food, and different kinds of merchandise.
Konoha had never seen it before, but this place looked unfamiliar to her. She saw parents and a child walking together to the street as she could see their faces. Her eyes flashed as she saw two unfamiliar faces who looked like they were her parents. Konoha froze as she saw them smiling at them. She blinked, feeling confused. As she looked, it was just the same parents and a child. Why are they so familiar to her? Why can't she remember?
"Is something wrong?" Sanda asked her as he gave her a worried look.
She shook her head and smiled. "It's nothing. We should get going."
"Okay," Sanda replied, nodding in agreement. Then he spotted something at one of the stalls. He grabbed Konoha's hand and lead her to the stall that caught his eye.
"Hey, look! Check this out!" Sanda said excitedly, pointing at the stall.
"What's that?" Konoha asked, confused. She was just staring at the stall that looks like old to her.
"It's a puffy thing," Sanda said while staring at the stall owner who was making something.
Bankotsu walked up to them and smiled. "It's called cotton candy."
"Cotton candy?" Sanda and Konoha asked at the same time.
He nodded. "Yep, one of the delicious food. Wanna try it?"
"Sure, but we never taste it before," Konoha said.
"Then you should try it." Bankotsu then asked the owner for two cotton candies, which he accepted. Then he made two cotton candies and gave them to Sanda and Konoha. After that, they took their taste testing as they bite out of it until their eyes widen, thinking it was good.
"Wow! This cotton candy tastes amazing!" Konoha exclaimed, starting to eat more.
"Yeah, and we want more!" Sanda wailed, eating as well.
"You two already have one, so you two don't need more because you will all hurt your stomachs." Bankotsu scolded.
"Awww..." Sanda and Konoha wailed.
Kikyo walked up to them with a smile. "It would seem that you have been a genius father to them, Bankotsu."
"Hey, I ain't raising those kids!" Bankotsu jested, smiling.

After a while, that very night there was a royal ball in the palace and everyone gathered around to see the Queen standing upon them with a smile.
"Everyone, I would like to thank you all for coming to the festival. I am grateful that you all come. However, tonight we shall celebrate thousands of years since the Shikon Jewel has been created by the warrior priestess named Midoriko. And finally, the Shikon Jewel has finally disappeared forever after five years. Thanks to the priestess who had made a wish to send their souls free from this imprisoned jewel."
"The Shikon Jewel? What is that?" Sanda asked curiously.
"I had no idea," Konoha replied.
Kikyo smiled at them. "The Shikon Jewel was a powerful marble-sized sphere that grants immense power to whoever possesses it. It is considered by my younger sister Kaede as an unholy jewel that boosts a demon's spiritual power. Only a few individuals, such as me and Kagome, can sense the presence of the Jewel and its hundreds of fragments. One day, the Shikon Jewel was finally completed and Lady Kagome made a wish to disappear forever."
"Wow," Konoha exclaimed. So they watched as the Queen continued her announcement.
"Before the Shikon Jewel was created, there is a Sacred Staff that I shall reward you whenever who will win the fun game." The Queen said.
"Oh, wow! So we're going to play a game!? This is going to be cool!" Konoha exclaimed excitedly.
"What kind of game are we playing?" Sanda asked the Queen curiously.
"We don't know, but we'll have to find out," Bankotsu said, smirking.
Sanda shrugged at this.
"Now does anyone who wants to play the game?" The Queen asked with a smile.
"I do!" Konoha shouted out, raising her hand.
"Me, too!" Sanda shouted, raising his hand as well.
The Queen smiled at the two of them. "Then why don't you two come forward?"
"Hai!" They shouted out happily as they went on stage immediately. After that, every village kid joined the game as they agreed to play.
Kikyo and Bankotsu began to watch them as they both stood beside each other as smiled.

A few minutes later...
After a while, Konoha won the game and was rewarded the hero's chair and the privilege to hold Sacred Staff throughout the dance.
"Congratulations, Konoha! You're really awesome at it!" Sanda said happily.
She smiled at him. "Thanks, Sanda."
My Lady...
"Huh?" Konoha blinked and heard someone calling out to her.
Why did you betray me...?
Who is that voice calling to me? Konoha asked, wondering what the voice is coming from.
"Konoha, is everything okay?" Sanda asked, worried why Konoha was being strange all of a sudden.
She gave him a fake smile. "It's nothing."
"Okay..." Sanda replied, still worried about her well-being as always.
"Hey, kid! Can you show us the staff? We wanna see it!" Some of the kids pleaded with them. Those are the kids who played the game with them a few days ago.
Konoha nodded. "Sure," she said as she showed them her new staff.
"Cool! This staff looks ware and awesome! I wish I could have this!"
Konoha sighed. "You know what? You can have it. I only wanted to play a game not because I wanted a reward, so you can have it."
"Yeah! Really!? Thanks!"
Suddenly, when Konoha was about to give the Sacred Staff to the kid, it began to glow brightly and shocked everyone to see this. The Sacred Staff began to shake as the light continued to glow brighter.
"Whoa! What is happening!?" Konoha panicked, wondering what is happening right now.
Then the Sacred Staff blasted, causing Konoha to fall to the ground and so are everyone around this ballroom. When everything was over, Konoha sat up and saw that there was a certain demon who was revived. It looked like a male but a demon cat. However, he was taller than her and any woman, his sleeves are really long, and he has white fur all over his body. He also has red marks on his cheeks while his eyes are closed, wondering what color eyes looks like when he opens them up. Then Konoha gazed at the hoodie he was wearing noticing her has cat ears.
His cat ears flicked as he began to sniff to smell a familiar person. He faced Konoha, thinking it was her. He leaped towards her and faced her, making Konoha scared a bit.
Everyone gasped in shock and so are Kikyo and Bankotsu who had seen the whole scene.
"Why did you seal me away, Lady Haya!? I would've helped you save Lady Midoriko but you left me for dead!" The demon cat growled as he spread his white wings, shocking Konoha more.
"Who the hell is that?" Bankotsu asked in shock.
Kikyo glared. "I have no idea, but we shall find out for ourselves."
The Queen looked shocked as she realized who he is. "No way... It's... It's Cross! The Archangel Cat!"
"What!?" Konoha, Sanda, Kikyo, and the Band of Seven asked in shock, facing the Queen.
