As the silhouette emerged from the shadows, Aluna's heart raced with a mix of fear and anxiousness. The figure stepped closer, revealing a tall, imposing High siren with piercing eyes and an aura of authority. It was clear that this woman held immense power within the confines of the room, Aluna's body tensed as the High Siren's gaze bore into her, her eyes scanning every inch of Aluna's being with an intensity that sent shivers down her spine. The air grew heavy with an undeniable presence, and Aluna could sense the weight of the High Siren's power and authority.

with an ethereal voice that commanded both respect and trepidation, the High Siren spoke, her words resonating through the chamber. "Intruder...prepare for your death"

with a slow and steady footstep, the High Siren walked toward the trapped Aluna drawing out a crimson blade with neon pulsing lines running throughout the body from a yellow portal about the size of a tennis ball. The blade glowed with otherworldly energy, pulsating with ominous power. ready to take the life of the filthy pest that dared intrude into this sacred room.

Aluna's heart raced as she watched the High Siren approach

Aluna's heart raced as she watched the High Siren approach, thrashing harder against the energy net that still held her captive. Fear and uncertainty consumed her as she struggled to break free, her muscles straining against the restraining force. With each desperate attempt, the energy net seemed to tighten, restricting her movements even further. Aluna's breath quickened as she realized that her efforts were in vain. The High Siren paused, her crimson blade still in hand, and observed Aluna's futile struggle with a mixture of amusement and pleasure. A chilling smile crept across her face, revealing a glint of satisfaction in her eyes as if feeling pleasure from the ragged and hazardous sight of the intruder in front of her. To the dismay of Aluna, the High Siren soon grew bored of the sight and decided that it was time to finish what she started.

"pray we never meet again in the past, present, or future" The High siren coldly said, while looking down on Aluna.

Slowly, the High Siren raised her blade raising high into the air as if prepping a gullintine ready to take its first life of the day, But just as the blade reached its peak, a sudden gust of wind filled the chamber, swirling around the High Siren and Aluna. The wind seemed to carry an unseen force, pushing against the impending strike.

Startled, the High Siren faltered for a moment, a mistake the 3rd party capitalized on and a figure rushed out from the shadows with such unimaginable speed that Aluna could not even react let alone see it and before Aluna knew it, the head of the High siren was sent flying high into the sky spinning uncontrollably spurting yellow liquid out of its neck hole painting the room and the pulsating creature itself yellow. Just before the head hit the floor, Aluna made eye contact with the head which carried a smug expression. The head hit the floor with a thump before rolling around and coming to a stop a small distance away from its body all the while oozing yellow liquid from its neck hole leaving a trail of yellow liquid. Meanwhile, the body of the High Siren which was now decapitated sprayed yellow liquid into the air like a broken fountain, creating a rain-like effect and painting the now yellow room even more yellow. With a thump, the decapitated body fell onto its knee before it knew also gave away causing the body to hit the ground with a splat that oozed yellow liquid causing a pool of yellow liquid to form near its neck hole.

The sight of the once mighty High Siren now decapacitated sent a wave of mixed emotions through Aluna. The power and authority that had emanated from the High Siren moments ago seemed to dissipate, leaving behind a surreal sight. Suddenly, as she was burning the image into her mind, the energy net that had once ensnared Aluna was cut open. The strands dissolved into nothingness, freeing her completely. Aluna slowly stood up, her exhausted limbs protesting with each movement. She ignored the aches and pains and persisted through, her body completely relaxed as if accepting whatever coming, mission was long forgotten, closing her eyes.

*(the High is slanted  because the siren is dead)

'no point fighting against an unseeable force' Aluna thought to herself as she wryly smiled.

Ready for her impending fate, Aluna braced herself for the inevitable. She had anticipated the end, the release from her physical and mental burdens. Yet, as time stretched on, the long-awaited death that she had expected did not come.

Confusion and curiosity filled Aluna's mind. She had entered the chamber with the intent to face her demise, to find closure for her weary soul.  Opening her eyes, Aluna soon find out the identy of her 'saviour'

"I-It's you!" Aluna's voice quivered as she pointed at the third party, her eyes widening with a mix of shock and recognition. The figure standing before her was none other than the High siren that chased her during her infiltration, who was currently looking at her with a bored gaze yet carrying a hint of amusement with her left arm akimbo and the other spinning a dagger that still had the blood of its victim stained on it.

The figure smiled gently, radiating an aura of wisdom and understanding. "Yes, it is me," she replied, a soothing voice left the mouth of the High Siren, its melodic notes gently caressing the senses of those who heard it. The enchanting melody carried with it a sense of comfort and serenity, easing the tensions and fears that had weighed upon the hearts of all who were present. Aluna's body tensed instinctively as the High Siren extended her hand, memories of her brutal kill flooded her mind, and she prepared herself for any trickery the High Siren would play on her. However, as their hands met, a surprising realization washed over her—this was not a gesture of hostility, but rather an offering of peace.

Relief washed over Aluna as she felt the High Siren's grip, firm yet gentle. The tension in her body gradually dissipated, replaced by a sense of cautious curiosity. As they stood there, hand in hand, Aluna noticed a glimmer of warmth in the High Siren's eyes, a flicker of remorse and understanding. This came as a surprise to Aluna as she was told all her life that Sirens were coldless and unfeeling monsters However clearly At that moment, Aluna understood that her assumptions about Sirens had been clouded by prejudice and fear. She realized that the High Siren, too, was a complex being, shaped by her own experiences and struggles. Yet this still leaves many questions, why did the High siren help Aluna? Wasn't they enemies? This is surely no mere coincidence as she did not rat out her during the infiltration.

However, as if reading her mind the High siren said out loud "The enemy of my enemy is my friend"

As the High Siren let out a subtle laugh, her eyes fixated on the grotesque creature suspended in the tank. Aluna couldn't help but feel a shiver run down her spine, unsure of the High Siren's true intentions.

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend," the High Siren repeated, her voice carrying an air of calculation. It was as if she saw an opportunity amidst the chaos, and had already grasped it just by having saved Aluna.

Aluna's mind raced, contemplating the implications of the High Siren's words. Was this a genuine act of seeking common ground, or was there an ulterior motive at play? Could she trust the High Siren?

Striking while the iron was hot, the High Siren pointed at the WMD clutched tightly in her hands that Aluna forgot she had in her hand "That's the key to end it all isn't it?" startling Aluna

Aluna's eyes widened in surprise and realization as the High Siren pointed at the weapon of mass destruction clutched tightly in her own hand. In the midst of the chaos, she had momentarily forgotten about its existence, but now its weight seemed to grow heavier, both physically and metaphorically.

The High Siren's statement pierced through Aluna's thoughts, cutting through the uncertainty and doubt. She had obtained the means to potentially put an end to the impending threat, a power that could change the course of their struggle.

A mixture of awe, fear, and responsibility washed over Aluna as she looked down at the weapon. It represented immense destructive force, capable of altering the very fabric of their reality. But it also held the potential for liberation, a way to bring an end to the horrors they faced.

Aluna turned to the High Siren, her voice trembling with a blend of apprehension and determination. "Yes, it is a key, a key to salvation," she replied, her gaze meeting the High Siren's unwaveringly.

"then get on with it, I dont have all day" The High Siren hurried her. Just as Aluna was about to activate the WMD, she was stopped by the high siren asking if she had an escape plan

Aluna paused, taken aback by the High Siren's urgency and the sudden inquiry about an escape plan. The weight of the decision she was about to make settled heavily upon her shoulders. She realized that activating the WMD could potentially have dire consequences, not only for their enemies but for themselves as well.

"I... I hadn't thought that far ahead," Aluna admitted, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "I was focused on ending the threat, but I hadn't considered what would happen afterwards."

The High Siren's expression softened, and she placed a hand on Aluna's shoulder. "It is crucial that we think about the aftermath," she said, her tone serious yet compassionate. "If we succeed in neutralizing the threat, we must ensure our own survival and the preservation of what remains."

However just as the High siren was about to continue her rant Aluna's hand trembled as she raised it, a mixture of acceptance and resignation in her eyes. "I... I had already prepared to sacrifice myself and die here ," she said, her voice filled with a solemn resolve. "You should abandon me and find a way to escape ."

The High Siren's eyes widened in disbelief, her grip tightening on Aluna's shoulder. "...o-okay Aluna," she replied softly, her voice wavering. "We may not had spent a long time together, it would be regretful to see you die, but atlas I respect your opinion"

"huh how did you get my name?" puzzled Aluna asked the High Siren only for the siren to point at the name tag clearly imbedded into her jacket causing her face to heat up with embarrassment.

"call me Seraphina, but you can just call me Sera" The High Siren surprisingly offered her name back to Aluna causing her heart to swell with a mixture of gratitude and appreciation for the High Siren's understanding. With a resolute step, Aluna activated the WMD before throwing it near the heart of the creature, the weapon triggered a cataclysmic surge of energy that reverberated through the chamber. The air crackled with raw power, the very fabric of reality distorted by the unleashed force. An otherworldly light engulfed the room, casting long, eerie shadows against the walls.

As the WMD unleashed its devastating might, time seemed to slow, each moment stretching into an eternity. Aluna could feel the weight of her decision, the immense responsibility resting upon her shoulders. The fate of their world hung in the balance.

The room trembled, the ground quaking beneath their feet as the unleashed energy surged outward, tearing through the grotesque creature's flesh and machinery. The once invincible being writhed in agony.

But it was not just the creature that was affected. The very foundations of the chamber began to crumble, cascading debris and sparks around them. Aluna and Sera both moved around  dodging the falling debris

With every passing second, reality itself seemed to unravel, threatening to consume them in its chaotic embrace. Just as the energy gathering at the heart of the creature reached a breaking point,  Aluna felt the soft touch of the Sera's lips against her own, a tender and electrifying kiss that sent a surge of warmth and energy coursing through her body. It was a fleeting moment of connection, charged with unspoken emotions and promises

As their lips parted, Aluna's eyes widened in surprise, her breath catching in her throat. Sera's touch had transferred a yellow-like energy, shimmering with an otherworldly brilliance, into Aluna. It pulsed within her, infusing her with a newfound strength and resilience.

Before she could fully process what had transpired, Sera swiftly pushed Aluna through a pulsating yellow portal, their eyes locking in a final moment of intense connection.

"Till we meet again" Sera softly whispered before being engulfed by a blinding flash of brilliance erupted, bursting out of the portal like a blinding, white-hot inferno. Time seemed to stand still, suspended in that final moment of uncertainty, the Pocket watch in her pocket shoned brightly before dimming again which happened so fast Aluna didn't even noticed it. Aluna's heart raced as she was propelled into the unknown, a mixture of uncertainty and determination propelling her forward.

"till we meet again indeed..." This time determination burned brightly in her chest not for vengeance, not for humanity but for love...
