ana.muhl I cant even begin to explain and how glad I am to be back with my favorite people in the whole world, my happiest moments are with this lovely ladies. Some are leaving very soon so I will be cherishing my last few moments with lou lou and dorka and the whole team. I am so ready to get back to playing with every one and for the huskies and long practices with coach!! I LOVE YOU GUYS

It's officially been a week since we all had come back to Storrs Connecticut, from us visiting home and seeing family. I'm glad to finally be back to see my actual family. I hung out with most of the team the entire week then we had to practice on that weekend.
So that's actually where we are currently in the locker room getting ready for practice. "FIRST PRACTICE LADIES LET'S GOO" I yelled as I walked in after talking to CD. I was trying to hype them up but a few of them was still hung over from friday. "YEAHHH COME ON" I screamed jumping around throwing my hands in the air and hitting lockers and smacking my sister and paige on the ass as I go around.
"Liliana! Please calm down I have a headache" my sister told me as I started to hug dorka. I stayed in the hug and turned around look at her. "not my fault you got blackout drunk nika! NOW! come on girls its our first practice of the season!!".I drug dorka and lou around with me and we were starting to hype everyone up. Once everyone up and jumping up and down and in a good mood. I started a huddle.
"ok girls its our first practice of the best season we are gonna have in the history of uconns women's basketball! Understand?!" they all yelled yeah back at me, "ok look I wanna be serious here I want you all to be okay mentally and physically, so as your best friend and captain I want you all to feel and be your best, but you must have the mindset that will win or what else do you have. A special person once told me basketball in 90% mental and 10% game. So lets keep our head high no matter how bad things get!" I gave them the best pep talk that I could.
"UCONN HUSKIES ON THREE" I yelled sticking my hand in the circle.

"UCONN HUSKIES" we all yelled and threw our hands up. People started yelling and running out of the locker room. "that's was great bicha why don't you give speeches like that all the time?" lou comes up from behind me wrapping her arm around me. "I don't really know, just sorta came out " I grabbed her hand and we started to walk out and saw the video camera. We smiled and waved.
Time skip to the end of practice
I was stood next to paige and coach a, "okay girls that was a good practice. I'm glad to have you all back and better than ever. I'm proud of all of you. we have our first game as sadly been post-poned and the second one is canceled our first on is on the 9 we have have practice very day till then at 4" we all groaned we heard the sad news but perfect time to practice and get better before our first game.
"ok ladies huskies on 3. 1 , 2 ,3 HUSKIES" we all yelled and through our hands in the air. We walked to the locker rooms and changed and as we were leaving, "dorka , lou, " I yelled the two, they turned to me and hummed. " do you two wanna come get ice cream with me , nika , and Paige? " they looked at eacher other and nodded, " sure" they both said, "cool I'm driving"
We all headed out and got ice cream and hung for a couple more hours they I drove them back to the arena so they could get there cars. I hugged lou and dorka extra tight, because they are my favorites, don't tell nika and Paige though. "bye guys I'll see you tomorrow love ya!" I said waving to all of them. They waved back and I got in my car and drove to mine and azzi's shared apartment.
I spoke to azzi for a bit then took a shower. I
called paige.

hi paige, I'm getting coffee in the morning with azzi and amari you wanna come? I can come pick you up and drive us back to school for class.
yeah sure, I have to wake up early though drew and my dad are flying here, not knowing the game was canceled but uh I broke the news and they said their still coming. So I have to pick them then we can go.
Are they really coming?
yeah drew really wants to see you, uh so does my dad.
ok well I have to head to sleep goodnight paige I love you.

she hung up and brushed my teeth, plugged up my phone, turned on the TV and got in bed and fell asleep.
