Yuri's Pov
It was already night time and I got out of my room and went outside to level up on the 28th floor in the fields of the wolf plains. I heard the wolfs barking and saw a guild down the hill fighting then. I looked at them and then saw Taeyeon.
"Yooo!! Yul!!" She shouted as she was waving at me as I had a smile on my face
"Whats up Taeng." I asked
"Nothing much. Just leveling up with my friends." She said
"That's good." I said as she nodded
"So Yul, when I reach up to level 40, Im going to be with you, okay? You won't have to be lonely anymore." She said as I pouted
"Im not lonely. I'm just not a social person." I said as she nodded
"I know, I know... Oh... That icon... Your in a guild??" She asked
"For now." I said
"Oh I see."
"HEY! Taengoo!! Lets go!!" Her friend shouted
"Ok! Well, see you later then."
"Yea. See ya." I said as I went down the hill.

After I was done training, I got to level 52. I went back to town to get some rest, but then I got a message from D.O.
"Hey Yul, Irene went out and never came back. We're searching for her in Labyrinth. Tell us if you find anything."
Irene...
I then went to the main menu and opened up the friend button and clicked on her name and track her. I then found her foot steps and I begin to follow it. After following her footsteps, I found her under a bridge. I leaned on a wall and said
"Everyone is worried about you... Why dont we go back??" I asked as she shook her head
"Hey Yul..." She said as I waited for her to talk
"Let's run away from everything here." She said as I was shocked
"Wha— D-D-double suicide??" I said as she shook her head
"I dont mind about that." She said as I was still shocked
"Wait— No, that's a lie."
"If I did wanted to die, I wouldn't be here, hiding in a safety place, like this town." She said as I was relived
"I wonder why we can't get out of here? Why do we have to die in the real world??" She asked
"There's probably no answer to that." I said
"Im afraid of dying." She said as I was surprised and looked at her
"Afraid of dying?" I asked as she nodded
"I've been so scared, I haven't been able to sleep lately."
"You're not going to die yet." I said as she looked at me
"Really?? How do you know??" She asked
"Your guild, Black Knights are strong. We built up quite a margin for safety too. Also we have me and Tao, so there's need to force yourselves in the front with us." I said
"Are you sure that I'm not going to die??" she asked again
"Yea. You wont." I said as she smiled
"Okay.. Lets go back." I said as she nodded

As we were back, I was in my room changing my clothes and then was done. I then heard a knock on my door.
"Come in." I said as the door opened and revealed Irene.
"I cant go to sleep... Can I sleep with you?" She asked as I nodded
We both were lying on the bed. I was still up thinking that the black knights with be able to fight along side with the front lines. They still need to level up more, but for now...
I'll protect you guys no matter what.
"Yul?"
"You wont die. I promise." I said as she nodded and closed her eyes and drifted to sleep.

the next morning, we all gather by the portal as D.O. went to buy a home for them to living in instead of a hotel.
"Woo!! We're finally getting a home!!" Suho said
"You sound like an old man" Tao said as he hit Suho in the back as everyone was laughing.
"Hey, Lets go to the coll while D.O's buying the house." Lay said
"Oh! Are we going to buy furniture??" Irene asked
"Why dont we go to a labyrinth in one of the higher floors??" Tao asked
"What's wrong with our usual hunting grounds??" I asked as they looked at me
"We can earn lots of money on a high floor." Suho said
"Plus, our level should be higher already." Tao said

We were on the 27th floor and we're in a hallways as everywhere looks like the color emerald.
"See? Thats was a piece of cake." Tao said
"We'll be joining the front liners in no time." Suho said
"Yea!" Tao said as he then saw something.
He pressed his hand on the wall and a door appeared and opened as I was shocked to see a hidden door. We then saw a chest in there and I then was shocked and shouted
"No get out of here!1 Its a—"
But it was too late, Tao opened the chest and the room started to go on as the door closed and enemies were coming and surrounded us.
"Its a trap! Lets get out of here!!" I said as we tried to use our crystals but it wouldn't work
"Teleport! Taft!" Tao said
"The crystals wont work!" Irene said
"We're in a crystal-nullification area!" I said as they were all shocked
The enemies started to charge at us and start attacking us. We all being to hit them, but the black knights were too weak to fight them. Tao fell over and the enemies were attacking him on his back with 10 hits, he turned into crystals. I made my way towards them, but the enemies keep coming at me. Lay got it and turned into crystals as well. Suho attack the enemy that killed Lay, but the enemies didnt die. The enemy swing its hand and hit Suho and he turned into crystals. I keep fighting and fighting to get me to Irene. I saw Irene fighting, but she couldn't live any longer.
"Irene!!" I shouted as more enemies came at me, but I killed them
"Yul!!"
"Irene!!" I shouted as she pushed an enemy away as I was tying to reach for her and she was too until.... she got hit.
Her HP was going down as I was still trying to reach to her. She mouth-out her words and then turned into crystals
"IRENE!!!!!" I shouted

After the sad battle, I was on the 49th floor. It was snowing and I sat on a bench while the information broker was telling me about a rare item to get a player back
"Seems like you've been leveling up too fast." She said
"Any new information??" I asked
"Nothing I can charge for."
"And you call yourself an information broker."
"This wasn't part of the beta. I couldn't get much info. the event boss is Nicholas, the Renegade will show up tonight on late Christmas eve. He'll spawn under a certain fir tree. Even the elite guilds are searching for him tirelessly" She said as I stood up and begin to walk away
"Hey! Did you just listened to me??" She asked
"Yea.. I heard you."I said
"Are you really going solo on him??" She asked as I ignored her
I went to the closes hotel and change for a bit in winter clothes and changed my sword
Reviving someone isn't possible in this world. but there's rumors that Nicholas, the renegade will drop an item to revive players. Even if I go solo, I'll probably die eventually. I'll die a meaningless death where nobody will see me.

"A Beater like you had no right to get involved with us!!" D.O said to me at Taft Town.
He was then shocked and went to the balcony, stand on the edge and fall off the edge. I ran towards him and couldn't save him.

That's right.... I.... and my arrogance killed you guys, the black knights. Even if I hadn't tell you my true level... I then went into the snow fields to get that rare item. If I manage to defeat Nicholas which its on the 35th floor, I can bring back Irene's spirit and finally hear her last words. no mater how angry she is, I have to accept them....
I then run to the fir tree until I hear someone coming.
"Yo."
"You followed me?" I asked
"Yea. Looking for the revival item??" Taeng asked
"Yea."
"Dont risk your life over something that's probably stupid. This is a real game of death remember??" She said as I was silent
"Just shut up." I said
"Don't try to solo with him! Its crazy!! Just join with us and the revive item will go to whoever gets the drop, so there'll be no hard feelings." She said
"That's meaningless to me... I have to do it alone." I said as I was going to draw my sword and they were drawing their sword to.
"Look Yul... Im not going to let you die in there! YUL!!" She shouted as I draw out my sword as the divine dragon came in.
"Looks like your been followed too, Taeng." I said
"Haha... Yea it looked like it." She said
"Its the Divine Dragons. They're willing to do anything to get their hands on a rare item." One of her friends said
"Go Yul!" She said as I was shocked
"Taeng?"
"Get moving!! We'll hold them back!" She said as I nodded and ran into the boss room.
After I got there, a bell rang as I waited. I then saw two shooting stars as I saw Nicholas coming down at me. He got on bear ground, he looked like Santa clause and also was making so much noise
"You're so noisy." I said as he was going to attack me and I was too.
