Alone

Back facing the wall,
Curl up like a ball.
Cold floor touching the skin,
Cold skin to cold skin.
Tattered cloth,
With mud and dirt,
Wrap around the naked me,
Since don't know when.
Fingers are shaking,
Body is trembling.
Stomach is twisting,
In hunger and pain.
I wrap my bony arms,
Around my bony chest.
Trying to remove,(the)
Deadly sensations.
I want to end this,
I want to die.
I want it fast,
I want it now.
But something move,
Not far from me.
I don't know what,
Or maybe it's a who.
For the first in days,
I'm feeling something.
Aside from hunger,
Aside from pain.
It is hope I feel,
A little spark of it.
A little warm,
Knowing I'm not ALONE.
