“Are you particularly bored on this day?” Luo Ying looked at Luo Wan and smiled. “Or are you actually trying to shake my marriage up?”
Luo Wan’s face darkened.
“Sister, I’m doing this for your own good. Lu Zhao is a violent and arbitrary man. What do you even see in him?” Luo Wan pretended to be heartbroken. “If you get hurt, my heart would break.”
Luo Ying looked at Luo Wan coldly.
In the original novel, the original Luo Ying was easily deceived by such words.
If anything, Luo Wan was out to get Lu Zhao all to herself.
“I’m not listening to a single word from you.” Luo Ying enunciated each word clearly.
Luo Wan stood up and put the most ambiguous photo in front of Luo Ying.
“Dear sister, are you stupid? Look at this. He’s practically kissing the woman in the bar.”
Against her own will, Luo Wan was losing control of herself. She gritted her teeth as if Lu Zhao had betrayed her, and not Luo Ying.
“The lighting and angle of this photo are very ambiguous. I could get a small-time actor to take a photo with you. It’ll look just like that. Do you think I’ll believe in such things?” Luo Ying didn’t even seem to glance at the photo.
Luo Wan’s attempt to trick her was pathetic.
“Sister, why won’t you listen to my advice?” As Luo Wan spoke, she walked closer to Luo Ying. When she was in front of Luo Ying, she quickly raised the glass of water in her hand to pour it on Luo Ying. Luo Ying’s guard was up. She caught Luo Wan’s hand.

The water was poured onto her head.
“What are you doing, Luo Ying!” Luo Wan spluttered furiously.
These words didn’t sound like an angry cry of injustice, but more like a flustered and exasperated one of having one’s plot exposed.
“Are you trying to trick a preschooler? You even chose this damn hotel as your
location. If you plant bugs all over the place here, aren’t you afraid that I’ll have
Lu Zhao sue you in court?”
Luo Ying’s eyes looked at Luo Wan coldly.
Luo Wan shuddered.
“Also, who gave you these photos? You’d better tell him to be careful. They deal with such shady folk in a way that you wouldn’t wish upon your greatest enemy.”
Luo Wan looked at Luo Ying, her eyes full of anger.
“To whomever who is listening in, just watch it. If, I mean, when you get caught, it’ll be too late for regrets.”
Luo Ying turned around and walked out of the door. Xiao Ting was already waiting for her.
“Did you find them?”
Xiao Ting frowned. “How did you spot the first one?”
Luo Ying took the camera and looked at it slowly in her hand. It was a pinhole camera, which should be the latest model. It was very small and not easily spotted.
If Luo Ying didn’t guess wrong, Luo Wan should have hidden another person in the room today. That person would be in charge of taking pictures and recording audio to incriminate her.
Regardless of the outcome, bad attention would be brought to Luo Ying, even if they did not outrightly ruin her reputation.
“Call the police. Illegal snooping, or whatever you call it.” Luo Ying shrugged and looked at the closed door of the room, smiling.
When Luo Ying got home, Lu Zhao had already returned.
He was sitting on the sofa and reading the news on his phone.
When Luo Ying saw Lu Zhao, she hurriedly pounced on him and hugged his waist.
