Everyone at Pigsy's Noodles were in silence. Everyone noticed how Sakura hadn't spoke to them since last week
"Hey, guys. I might be crazy, but has Sakura been ignoring us?" MK asked
"You're not the only one. Sakura hasn't spoke to us since last week" Tang said as he put his chopsticks down
"Did we do something? She didn't even talk to us before she left for her deliveries" Pigsy said
While they were thinking, they heard Mei enter the shop along with Red Son, Monkey King, Macaque and Nezha
"Huh? Guys? What are you doing here?" MK asked
"I got a message from Sandy and asked me to gather everyone and come here" Mei said as she showed MK her message from Sandy
"The big blue peasant said it involves something with cherry blossom and she hasn't been talking to us" Red Son said as he took a seat
"I have been worried about her. She didn't come to her training in the Celestial Realm last week" Nezha said
"What did you do Wukong?" Macaque asked as he turned to look at Wukong and glared
"Hey! What make you think I did something?! I bet it was you that did something bad to her!" Wukong said as he glared back
Then Sandy entered the shop before a fight broke out
"Perfect! Everyone is here!" Sandy said
"So what is it that you want to tell us, Sandy?" Tang asked
"Well, you guys remember when is Sakura's birthday, right" Sandy asked his friends
"Of course we know when is her birthday. After all, we agreed it'll be on the day I found her" Tang said
"Do you remember what day?" Sandy asked
"The 15th of May. Why?" Pigsy asked
"Check the calendar" Sandy passed Tang and Pigsy the calendar. The 15th was crossed off along with the rest of the days and slowly they soon realized
"WE FORGOT HER BIRTHDAY!!!!" Everyone minus Sandy shouted
"I can't believe I forgot my cherry blossom's birthday!" Red Son cried
"No wonder she wasn't talking to us. She must've been really upset that we forgot her birthday" Tang said "I feel so terrible"
"You're not the only one" Pigsy said
"Then how about we throw her a huge surprise party? We'll explain that we were busy getting things planned and ready!" Mei said
"That's... actually not a bad idea" Red Son said
"Okay, it's decided. We'll throw her the best birthday party ever!" MK said
"But where are we gonna hold the party?" Pigsy asked
"We'll hold her party at Demon Bull Family castle. Though you all should be careful of the traps that are set" Red Son said
"Alright! Tangy and I will get the decorations, MK, Monkey King, Macaque, Red boy, Nezha and Sandy will get her the gifts, and Pigsy will cook the food including the cake!" Mei said
"What about my parents?" Red Son asked
"They can help out with anything like if they want to help with the decorations, finding a gift or help with cooking" Mei said
"My husband and I will bake the cake" Princess Iron Fan's voice echoes as she appeared with DBK
"It's only fair that we do something for our daughter in law" DBK said
"Alright! Let's do this!" Mei said
Sakura P.O.V
After I finished my deliveries, I decided to walk around the city for a bit to clear my head. I haven't talked to anyone for the past week or even go training with Nezha since everyone forgot my birthday. But then again I don't blame them, a lot has happened this year including the battle against the Lady Bone Demon, so I guess my birthday slipped their minds
'I shouldn't stay mad at them for that...' I thought to myself
"Hey..." I heard someone from behind me and I saw a girl with her hair covering her eye
"Can I help you with something?" I asked
"Not really. You look down, so I decided to talk to you" The girl said "So what's bothering you?"
"Well, I was angry that my uncles and friends forgot that last week was my birthday, but then I realized that I shouldn't be mad at them for that. A lot has been going on and I shouldn't be mad at them because of that. I should go and apologize for my behavior" I said as I was about to leave, and she handed me a small box
"Here. Think of it as a birthday present" The girl said
"Are you sure? Didn't you buy it for yourself?" I asked
"Not really. My friend bought it for me and it's not really my style. So here" The girl said and I grabbed the box from her hands "You can open it whenever. Later" Then the girl left
'What a strange girl' I thought
I opened the gift and saw a cute bracelet with a cat charm and a bell
'This is really cute' I thought and I put on the bracelet 'I wish I knew the girl's name. I wonder is I'll see her again?'
While thinking, I felt my phone ringing and pulled out my phone, the caller ID showed MK's name
"Hello, MK. I wanna say sorry for how I was acting for the past week" I apologized
"It's fine, but can you head to Pigsy's shop? Red Son is gonna meet you there" MK said
"Red Son? Why...?"
"I promise it'll be worth it. I'll see you later" Then MK ended the call, and now I'm curious what he's planning. I started heading to Uncle Pigsy's shop where I'm supposed to meet Red Son. When I got to the shop, I saw Red Son standing by the shop with his arms crossed
"Red Son?" I called out his name and he turned in my direction
"Hello, cherry blossom" Red Son said as he walked towards me "Are you ready to go?"
"Yeah, but where are we going?" I asked
"It's a surprised. Now I want you to close your eyes, and I'll let you know when you can open them" Red Son said as I closed my eyes and I felt Red Son grab my hand, and I somehow knew we teleported from the sound of the flames. Then he started pulling my hand and I started walking with my eyes still closed
"Can I open my eyes?" I asked
"Not yet, cherry blossom" Red Son said as we continued walking, then we stopped for moment. Red Son let go of my hand and I heard the sound of large doors opening, and Red Son grabbed both my hands
"Can I open them now?" I asked
"Almost" Then I heard his fingers snap and I grew more curious
"Now can I open them?"
"Alright. Now" Then I opened eyes and I was surprised at what I saw
"Happy birthday Sakura!" Everyone said in unison
"Everyone..."
"We're really sorry for not celebrating your birthday, but we were busy getting everything we need for today. It actually took us about a week to get ready" Uncle Tang said
"Really? So you guys really didn't forget my birthday?" I asked
"Of course not. After everything that happened, we thought you deserve a big party. So we were busy planning everything. So were you surprised?" Uncle Sandy asked
"I was really surprised. Though I should apologize for ignoring you guys for the past week. I had no idea you guys were busy planning this" I said
"It's alright, we should also apologize for keeping it a secret from you" Uncle Pigsy
"Alright, bois! Let's get this porty started!" Party MK said as he started playing the music
I was having a good time, the food that Uncle Pigsy made was really delicious, the decorations look amazing, the cake that DBK and Princess Iron Fan baked looked too beautiful to eat, and received so many gifts from everyone too. I believe this is the best birthday I ever had
No One P.O.V
"Did you give her gift, Iris?" The hooded figure asked
"Yes I did, and you have no idea how much I held back from hurting her" The girl named Iris said
"Patience, Iris. Your time will come. For now, let her enjoy today. Let's go" The hooded figure said as they vanished into thin air
