Chapter 21

As the days went by fast, obi never left (y/n's) side much, he mainly stayed there chatting with her, holding her hand, explaining certain games shirayuki had gotten them or got actual good food for her

(Y/n) pov: end of the week
I sit up on my bed as obi enters with shirayuki so she smiles
"Okay! One more checkup for daily then you can move and walk around, but. You will need to check in every week now" she says so I nod and stand up as I lift my shirt
Shirayuki glances at obi as he already looked away before turning to me smiling, she quickly unwraps the now mainly healed stitches and looks over them
"Would you like me to wrap them back up? And are you feeling any pain?" She asks so I shake my head no
"No it's okay and a little when I walk but other then that, not as bad unless I do something rash" I say and she nods
"Okay! Great! You'll have to come every Wednesday for a check up though" she says as I put down my shirt nodding
"Okay, thank you red" I say and she smiles
"And like I said before, no sparring and no climbing" she says so I nod
"I wont" I say smiling and glancing to obi as he nods
"Buuut..you never said anything about jumping out the window!" I say and start running out to the balcony
I leap out the window as I hear shirayuki gasp and obi behind me, I land easily with slight pain but tolerable
"No jumping out windows (y/n)!!!!" Shirayuki yells worried so obi and i laugh
"I'm okay red!" I say before I look at obi seeing him already looking at me
"Wanna visit zen first? The last time he saw you he was pretty worried" obi says and I chuckle nervously at the memory

"(Y/n!)" I hear my name causing me to jump as I see zen slide in
"You're finally awake! Mitsuhide told me, I'm glad we didnt have to find someone else to watch obi" he says smiling so I snicker
"Are you feeling okay? And dont jump into battle like that again! It was reckless and you could've and did almost die!" He scolds me so I chuckle nervously as I sweat drop
"I know..I'm sorry your highness" I say bowing my head so he smacks my head lightly as I hold it
"Be careful next time..and drag obi with you, I get you were pissed off but hes your partner..in many ways. So don't leave him behind" zen says so I nod
"Okay zen, thank you" I say and he nods

"He was scary..though.." I say and he chuckles before grabbing my hand
"C'mon, I have to ask him something anyway" obi says and I hum curiously before we get to zens window
"Uhh..cat..I'm not supposed to climb" I say looking at the ledge
"I know" he says so I go to look at him confused but instead i feel myself be picked up
I gasp at the sudden lift before obi starts jumping so I hold onto him tightly, once I feel us stop I look up and see an amused mitsuhide and smiling kiki
I huff and punch obi slightly before he let's me down catching zens attention
"(Y/n!) Obi! How nice to see you both, I'm assuming you got let go?" Zen asks me so I nod
"Yeah, just weekly checking for now" I say and zen nods
"Well.. what can I help you with?" He asks and obi speaks up
"Well master, I was hoping I could talk to you, while stars here can inform miss kiki and mitsuhide about our recent game" obi says making many codes so I glance at him confused
"Oh of course" zen says slightly confused before he and obi walk into another room
"Well are you and obi doing something today?" Kiki asks curiously
"Well, I know the cat wanted to go take me somewhere today so I'm assuming that, but other then that I dont know" I explain and mitsuhide's eyes widen
"He asked you out on a date?" He asks so I tilt my head
"Uh..yeah I guess" I ask slightly confused and kiki chuckles in amusement
"Mitsuhide, she might not know what a date is.." she says so I blink still not understanding
"A date is when someone would like to take you somewhere alone and you both acknowledged your feelings for each other" kiki explains before mitsuhide joins in
"So, you both spend some time together having a good time and see if your relationship progresses into the dating stage" mitsuhide explains so I look at him even more confused
"Dating stage?" I ask actually confused now as all I know is something a little more intimate so he groans
"Boyfriend girlfriend, you both admit to each other that you love each other and if he asks you out you guys will date" he explains and I hum
"What's the point in that? Isnt it just a label on two people then?" I ask raising my eyebrow and kiki snickers
"Boyfriend and girlfriend is special, dating in general is cause you are the person of choices, if anyone tries to get to you and flirt with you your boyfriend can step in and claim you" kiki explains
"Oh..so if we date then..obi..owns me?" I ask still slightly confused thinking of it as selling and bidding
"In a respectable way yes, but it's your choice.." mitsuhide says so I nod
"And what do you mean by claim kiki?" I ask curiously and she chuckles as does mitsuhide
Do they mean hickeys and that or just being intimate?
"Uhh..that's a question you should ask zen instead.." mitsuhide says digging zen into a grave as him and obi walk out at the same time
"Ask me what?" Zen asks
"Oh hey zen whats-" I give to ask but mitsuhide quickly covers my mouth from talking
"Privately! Away from obi" he says quickly as both obi amd I look at him confused
"Mmhm" I hum in mitsuhide hand so he let's me go
"If you didnt let go I was gonna bite you" I say glaring at him so he chuckles nervously
"There she is" kiki says so I sigh
I'm aware what they mean..I'm just inexperienced..
"Yep-" "Let's go!"
I yelp as I get lifted up again and feel obi jump
"Damn you cat!!" I yell as I hear the others and obi laugh
Once we land he starts running off randomly
"Where the hell are we going?!" I ask holding my arms around obi's neck
"Somewhere alone" he says so I look at him calmly now
"Hm.." I hum hesitantly

Once we make it to the place obi shakes me from my nap so I hum awake now
"Hey stars..we're here" he says so I look around as he sets me down
My eyes widen to see us on top of a hill looking over the kingdom and town as it slowly darkens
"Whoa.." I mumble and hear obi chuckle I turn to him seeing him smiling as hes sit down
I tilt my head before walking over to him and sitting next to him carefully
We watch the sky pointing out what certain clouds look like as we laugh
"Look at that one, it looks like cotton candy" he says pointing one so I giggle
"All of them look like cotton candy" I say and he scoffs
"Not that one! That one looks like a cat!" He says pointing at another cloud so I snicker and look at obi
"You're a cat obi" I say slightly soft so he makes eye contact with me surprised so I snicker before looking down in thought
"..hey obi" I start and he hums
"..was this..was this a date?" I ask looking at him and he blushes
"Uhh..so what if it is?" He asks slightly nervous so I snicker and lean my head against his shoulder
"Then I'd say its nice.." I say and he looks at me
"Good.." he says softly before smiling
"Can I braid your hair?" He asks so I look at him surprised
"Uhm..sure I guess" I say and he nods before carefully picking me up and placing me in between his legs
"You know..I've never actually been on a formal date, I didnt know fully what they were till kiki and mitsuhide explained it today" I say and he chuckles
"I'm not surprised" he starts as he braids my hair
"So you know what it is..do..your feelings still stay the same..i-if you have any" he says so I snicker
"Woooow saying I have no feelings" I roll my eyes teasingly so he snickers
"You know I didnt mean it like that..I mean-.." he starts but stops so I turn around slightly and snicker
"..you mean when we kissed?" I ask and he hesitantly nods so I smile
"You tell me" I say and hesitate leaning in as his eyes widen with his face flushing
I press my lips against obis lightly, which is extremely soft surprisingly..before he has the chance to kiss back I pull away
"..so..yeah..I suppose I do" I say hesitantly and he smiles softly before grabbing my cheek softly and pulling me in
I lean in and he kisses me once again, I smile into the kiss as it goes on for moments like little fireworks until we pull away, both smiling
"(Y-y/n).." he starts so I hum
"Uhm..can you be mine, and mine only..I.. don't tend to like sharing.." he asks so i blush
"I-..I have you know I'm not good with these things" I say with a slight laugh and he nods
"I know, its cute" he says so I scoff looking away
"But..if it means that I can be with you and still like our dorky selves..then yes" I say and he smiles
"Of course we'll be like normal, I can just do things like this" he says before I look over to him and he pins me to the ground as my eyes widen
He starts attempting to tickle me as I gasp not used to the touch as I squirm feeling slight pain but I can ignore it as I start laughing, obis face immediately lights up as he continues to tickle me before I push his shoulder and kick his knee in to me as I flip us over where I'm on top of him
He turns surprised before smiling and pulling me down on top of him, I tense before I give in and cuddle into him feeling comfort
This is nice..
Obi wraps his arms around me as we just lay there for awhile
"So stars.." he starts so I look up at him as he looks at me
"You're officially mine?" He asks so I snicker and nod
"Yes I am.." I say smiling so he smiles aswell
"Good, now I dont have to deal with raj" he says so I snicker
"Nope, I'm all yours" I say laying my head back down so he snickers
"I'm glad" he says so I hum before I slip out of his grip straddling him
"Tag" I say poking him in the stomach as he flinches before I jump of and leap back a few steps running away
"Oh your on!" He says and runs after me so I laugh
After hours of tag and hide and seek it finally we decide to walk back to the castle holding hands
"I know you dont know much about this dating stuff aswell, so who helped you with asking me?" I ask with a knowing smirk as I watch obi tense
"What does that mean? Just cause I used to be an assassin doesnt mean I dont know anything" he over explains so I giggle softly and look at him
"Obi~ C'mon~ you over explained yourself to defend yourself" I say and I notice a tiny of blush appear on his face so he looks away
"Zen.." he mumbles so I gasp before laughing
"Zen?! Is that what you wanted to ask him? Damn his highness knows a thing or two, who knew" I say before obi chuckles
"I mean he does have red with him" obi says so I snicker
"I suppose so..hey cat" I say and start again looking at him as he meets my eyes
"Wanna race?" I ask so he snickers and let go of my hand
"You're on" he says before we both start running but I jump into the tree as I was told not to and start jumping
I make sure I'm not taking a toll off myself before I get to the castle first
"I win! Again!" I say holding my arms up
"Yeah. You were also jumping from tree too tree." He says crossing his arms knowing I shouldn't be
"I'm okay kitty cat, I'm not that reckless. I make sure I'm not taking too much of a toll of myself" I explain as I usually am careful so he nods
"Fine, c'mon, let's get you too sleep" he says so I sigh before he picks me up and jumps into a tree
He sets me down on a branch next to him as he also sits
"Man I missed this tree" I say smiling so he snickers as I get comfortable
Once he does aswell takes one more look at me as I yawn and look at the stars
"Goodnight stars" he mumbles so I smile
"Goodnight kitty cat" I say and he yawns before slowly falling asleep
Once I see him sleeping soundly, after maybe half an hour, I quietly leap down from the tree and glance up at obi to see him still sleeping
I walk into the castle and start walking to the jail cells
I have to see him.
My eyes light up for a moment but only for a moment before I walk into the cell area with guards by the main gate
"(Y/n!) Welcome back!" One of the guards say smiling so I hum
"Its good to be back, may I see the prisoners..alone" I ask and they hesitate but nod
"Yes ma'am.." he says before unlocking and opening the door for me
I walk through thanking then before I walk infront of arrow guys cell, hearing the door shut I let my eyes glow so he sighs
"Long time no see (y/n)~ I almost thought you actually died" he taunts as I glare at him
"You should know by now that's not easy" I say and he hums
"Unfortunately..well..are you going to kill me?" He asks curiously
No. I'll get information and kill your family and friends right Infront of you before any of that foolish play
"Havent decided yet.." I say calmly thinking of anything before he smirks standing up
"How is that little wound of yours?" He asks walking to the bars of his cell not intimidating me one bit
"Good." I say plainly
"Now. For so long, why were you the one that wanted to kill me?" I add on and he snickers
"Well cause you're strong of course~ and that cat eyed boy will just get in my way" he starts before I grab him by his shirt pulling him
Slamming him into the bars seeing his emerald eyes underneath his hood with short brown hair, I make sure to memorize his face noticing he winces as well
"Dont you dare. Speak his name from your filthy mouth" I say my eyes starting to glow so he smirks
"Aww..you have a thing for him" he teases as I realize it's a trick
"And you wont ever. Get a hold of him.. I'll make sure of that" I speak with taunting venom in my mouth before pushing him into the wall
"..you wont win this battle arrow boy. You never will, not anymore" I say and begin to walk out hiding my eyes
Once I get outside the doors I see obi standing at the door so I tense
"Stop falling for his tricks" he says immediately so I roll my eyes
"I knew what I was doing" I say calmly
"You sure." He says so I hum smirking
"Of course I did" I say gaining a lot of information from him in that little session
"Hm..alright, now how about we actually go and sleep now stars?" He asks so I snicker scratching the back of my neck
"Yeahh sorry about that cat..I just needed to see him" I say so he nods grabbing my hand so I smile a bit causing me to look away
"That's fine, just let me know next time so I can make sure he doesn't pull any stunts" he says so I snicker but nod
"Deal.." I say before we walk up to my room instead of the tree
"Oh and master said you'll be taking it easy for a bit but we can go on some missions, including the trip with little ryu, master already accepted the request" obi explains so I let out a sigh before smiling
"Okay..well, we can nab ryu in a couple days, I wanna get caught up with what I missed around here" I explain as we get to my room
"Sounds like a deal, we can also see ryu and garak, and I'm sure kage would like to go on a joy ride with you" obi says so I hum entering my room
"Yeah, would you like to go with me?" I ask obi glancing at him as I sit on my bed so he smiles
"Of course stars" he says so I snicker and lay down making sure there's more room for him
I pat the bed and look at obi to see his hesitation so I snicker
"C'mere idiot, we've cuddled before" I say so he chuckles slightly before laying next to me
He opens his arms to me in which I gladly accept with my head on his shoulder wrapping my arm around his waist while the other goes around his neck, obis arms go around my back and along my arm that's on his waist
"Now let's try this again" he says causing me to snicker
"Goodnight stars.." he says and kisses the top of my head making me smile
"Goodnight kitty cat" I say and kiss his slightly exposed collarbone causing him to tense up slightly making me smirk
"Meanie" he says so I giggle tiredly
"..obi.." I start so he hums letting me know he's listening
"I love you" I say feeling him tense up slightly before relaxing
"I love you too, my beautiful star.." he says softly
I smile and nuzzle my head into his neck more causing him to chuckle slightly before we both fall into the most peaceful and comfy sleep I've ever had
