Nunew's POV.
I got out of the car with Zee. I look at him as he then smile slightly. I held a bouquet of flowers in my hand while the other hand held Zee's hand tightly. We both then made our way and soon stopped at a grave. I slowly let go of Zee's hand , kneeling down as I touch the gravestone gently.
"Hi phâaw .." I said softly , looking at the gravestone.
'ParkYus Chawarin. 1979-2023. A husband and a father.'
I placed the bouquet of flowers beside the stone , sighing heavily before getting up.
"Phâaw .. Nhu misses Phâaw so much na ..." I said.
"It's been a while since I last visited you .. I always come here alone .. but today .. I brought someone with me .." I said turning to Zee. I smile , nodding as Zee then slowly stepped forward , standing beside me. He look down to the gravestone , breathing in.
"Uncle .. It's me .. Zee .." voice out Zee.
"It's been a long time since I came to see you .. I am sorry for taking so long to come and see you .." he said as I look at Zee , listening to him intently.
"I told myself that I wouldn't come and see you until I did what I promised you and that is to get rid of Wang ... and make him pay for what he did to you .." he continued.
"I did it uncle .." he said making me smile warmly.
"Now you don't have to worry about anything .. especially ... Nunew." He said.
"Because ..I will make sure that nothing in this world can ever hurt him .." he said making me look down , smiling shyly.
"I know you must've been worried .. me and Nhu has been through so much together .. ups and down .. Nhu didn't even love me before .." he chuckled making me shook my head.
"But I understand why he didn't ... I know that I am not such a good husband myself ..I made him sad many times .. but he's sweet .." he said making me look at him fondly.
"He still gave me the chance to show him that I can protect him and love him ... he finally was able to trust me with his whole heart .." I smile , listening to Zee's words.
"Up till today .. I still wonder why he would love me .." he continued.
"But I think I have an answer for that .." he said softly , turning to look at me.
"He loves me .. that's why .." he said making me chuckle , nodding as I then teared up. He then grabbed my hand , pulling me to stand beside him. I interlock my fingers with his , holding his arm with my other hand tightly as he smile.
"No matter what happens .. I'll never let go of your son's hand , ever." Said Zee making me look at him.
"I promise .." he continued.
"So don't you worry about him .. he is in a safe place now .. with me." He said making tears escape from my eyes. He turned to me as he then wiped my tears away , kissing my forehead lovingly.
"You're safe with me now .." he said as he then pulled me into his embrace making me tighten my grip around him , hiding my face on his shoulder. I smile , closing my eyes as I sigh happily.

Zee's POV.
"Wahh~ Talayy~" shouted Net excitedly as the rest of the boys got their things out of the trunk.
"Come on Nhu , let's go~" said Nat as Nhu then turned to me making me nod. He smile before Nat dragged him along. Max then pat my back , nodding as we then went to find a spot to seat.
I sigh leaning back as Max hand me a beer. I open it , taking a seat as I sigh in relief. I then soon saw Nhu having fun with Nat and the boys making me smile fondly.
"You really love him , don't you ?" Asked Max making me chuckle , nodding.
"I do .." I said.
"It surprises me how much you can love a person .." he said making me frown slightly , turning to him.
"You are willing to sacrifice for yourself for him.." he said making me look down.
"I admire your love for him." He continued making me smile slightly.
"You are a good husband Zee .." he said.
"And also a good leader .." he continued making me look at him.
"I know I don't really say this .. but thank you .. for being the best leader for the team .." he said making me nod , patting his back slightly.
"Thank you .. for always having my back all this time .. Max." I said making him smile , nodded before patting my back. We both then sigh , taking a sip of our beer.
"So .. what's next for you hm ?" He asked as I then look down , looking at my wedding ring.
"I was thinking of taking a break from all of this mafia stuff .." I confess making him turn.
"I think it's time for me to finally be happy with Nunew .. and explore the world just like how we wanted to before when we were kids .." I said making Max nod. I then turned to him , smiling slightly.
"While I am gone .. could you do me a favor ?" I asked.
"What is it ?" He asked.
"Take care of the team." I said making him chuckle.
"You have my word boss." He said making me chuckle deeply , nodding as I took a sip of my beer.
"Max ! Zee ! Come on !" Shouted Nat as Nhu and the boys waved at us. I look at Max before getting up , walking towards them with Max following from the back.
Nunew's POV.
I sigh happily , laying my head on Zee's shoulder as we both sat on the bench , looking at the beautiful sunset at the horizon. The beach breeze brushes against our skin gently. My fingers was interlocked with Zee's as Zee leaned his head against mine.
I then lifted my head up slowly making Zee turn to look at me. I smile before looking at the view.
"Did it ..really end ?" I asked softly making Zee smile slightly , nodding.
"Yes .." he answered.
"It really .. ended right ?" I asked , turning to him making him sigh , caressing my head gently before caressing my cheek.
"It really ended." He said making me smile softly. He then grabbed my nape gently , placing a loving peck on my forehead. He fixed my hair slightly as I then leaned my head on his chest making him kiss the top of my forehead. I close my eyes , feeling his warmth before sitting up , facing him.
"So .. what now ?" I asked making him chuckle.
"Let's get out of here and explore the world together .. how does that sound ?" He asked making me smile widely. I giggled , nodding.
"That sounds like a plan to me .." I said making him chuckle before grabbing my nape , placing his lips on mine. I replied to his kiss instantly , smiling in between the kiss.
Who would've thought that by meeting someone at a masquerade party could led me to where I am now. After all this years where I've felt like part of my life is missing , I finally found what I've been searching for this whole time. And that is , Zee , my first love , my first boyfriend , my husband and my first in everything that will come in the future. I knew from the start when I said yes to marrying a mafia leader would get me through a huge mess but somehow I don't regret it once because I got to marry the man of my dream and the love of my life. Our story might come to an end but ... no matter what , I'll always be a ...
