THIRD PERSON'S POV:
"Ch-chan.", he stuttered without meaning to.
"That's new."
She got up to get a better view of the moon as the shade of the bus stop was keeping her from seeing the full moon.
"What's wrong?", Chan asked, also getting up.
"The moon is so pretty.", she giggled, almost falling but Chan caught her.
Chan looked at her. For the first time, he actually looked at her. Her eyes felt empty yet full. She had a heartbreaking life which made her turn dark. He wanted to hug her, tell her its fine but again, he's just a stranger who happened to pass by her life.
On the other hand, Ayeong didn't feel anything. All she felt was warm arms around her which made her feel a bit calm. She couldn't see the face of the guy because of the shadow his cap was providing, yet he seemed almost beautiful to her.
"Oh, look.", Ayeong stepped towards him, closing the little distance left between them.
Despite her telling him to look somewhere, he just couldn't take his eyes off of the girl. The moonlight shone almost perfectly on her visuals. She was, indeed, beautiful.
"He's here.", she giggled.
He?
Chan turned his head to look back, only to find nothing but a bus coming their way.
"I will have to go. Thank you for your...", she stopped to think what she should thank him about."... I don't know. Just thank you.", she bowed and ran towards the bus.
He was only in Korea for a few weeks, on a trip. Will it be possible for him to see her again? Plus, he even forgot to ask for her name.
Chan was speechless.
His heart was beating at an incredible speed.
He never felt this way around anyone.
No one.
Not even his fiancé.

"Dad, I can't marry her.", Chan stands with his hands crossed in front of his father.
"Oh, really? Then what can you do?", he mocked Chan.
"I'll handle the company without her.", Chan's words caused his dad to laugh at him.
"Son, when will you grow up? You're still in college. You're barely getting by your studies and you're going to take care of this company without her?", he snickered.
"You can't do anything without her. She inherited her parents company and she's continuing her studies. Look at you. You can barely top in college. If it weren't for Chaeyoung, you'd be nowhere.", his father taunted him, again.
He was tired of being ordered around. He wanted to have control on his life. For himself, and for a certain someone. But he won't be able to attain that certain someone in this state, at least not in Australia.
"No matter what you do, you can't force me to marry her.", Chan briefly says and walks out of his father's office.

A few months passed and he moved to Korea. Just for that girl. He didn't know anything about her, just that she was a girl with a heartbreaking life story in Seoul. Just that she was too beautiful.
He didn't just come to Korea to meet the girl but he also wanted to gain what he was passionate about, which was music.
To his luck, he got in the biggest university of Korea. He got even more luckier to be in the same university as that girl.
He watched her as she'd pass by. They'd often make eye contact but Ayeong wouldn't even flash him a smile. He was a stranger to her. Just another stranger passing by.
He'd muster up the courage to actually talk to her but in the end it would just end up him walking past her.
He was scared. About what? No one knows.
All their university years, they stayed like that. Ayeong oblivious about a human named Bang Chan and Chan flustered about a human named Ayeong.
In the end, Chan gave up. He figured that no matter how hard he tries, he won't be able to be the only one with her.
Of course. She also has someone. Whom she loves. Whom she kisses. It's not Chan.
Years passed and now, they finally met again. Chan didn't think about talking to her about his feelings since he knew that she'd be happy with a certain someone, and he was right. Plus, he didn't want to creep her out, looking back at her life how a certain someone always had his eyes on him.
He tried to ignore her but it was hard to do so. For him, it was hard. She was there, in front of him. For the first time, he could actually talk to her, get close to her. And would he just let that chance slide?
He had a selfish desire of wanting her to himself. He didn't want her to be with Joochan. What he didn't know was that if she weren't with Joochan, she wouldn't be happy.
He was selfish because of love.
All he wanted was her.

"Why can't I have you, Ayeong? You... you don't know..."
I've been waiting for you for years.
"I don't deserve you.", tears fall from the girls eyes.
"I don't care!", he yells.
"Chan, you're so amazing. I just... don't deserve you..."
They cry while denying their feelings. Chan is so desperate for her that he's crouched down in front of her, while she's sitting on the couch.
"Chan... I can't be selfish...", she sobs.
He's hurt. He's been so selfish all the time, only wanting her to himself when he knows that there's no way she'd be happy yet look at her. She's kind hearted.
You're wrong. You deserve the world and I...
"I don't care! Ayeong, please! I wish for us to be there for each other when we need each other. For us to be each others only ones. For us to be who we want to be, with each other.", Chan rests his forehead on her knees.
"I'm sorry."
It's true. She had someone she loved dearly for years and all of a sudden, for him to change, for him to snap into a completely different personality, it was hard. No matter how hard she tries, she can't overcome the pain the scar brought to her. How can she put pressure on the scar that hasn't healed yet? How do you do that? Is it possible? It doesn't seem like it.
"Chan, I think we'll have to keep distant. We're not going to fix ourselves like this. I... also need at least one year rest."
I'm scared.
"Ayeong, no."
To let go, I'm afraid.
"It's the only way out."
It's not.
"Don't leave me like this. I'll break apart."
I need you, too.
"I'm so sorry."
Right this very moment. All I have to give is tears. I'm sorry. I can't be there for you.
"You're so heartless! How can you do this to me?!"
I know I'm selfish. I don't want to get hurt like last time. But I also don't want you to get hurt. Feelings change.... and so do people.
Her thoughts were not agreeing with her.
Neither was she.
But she thought that it was the right thing.
She hated to see him beg like that.
But she'd hate to give him love she never felt.
Fake love.
