Seungmin and Minho were the two top students of their university. They were always bickering about the smallest things, whether they were first to raise their hand or who got the highest score on their exams.
Sometimes it wasn't even about exams scores or class related, at this point seungmin would just find anything to annoy the older. People started to think they did hate each other.
What they didn't know is that Seungmin's words hurt Minho. In fact, Minho hates their concept of "Academic Rivals''. Matter of fact, the older has strong feelings for the younger.
Ever since the start of junior year in high school, Minho fell in love with the cute glasses boy from his maths class. His feelings never change, even when the younger tries to get him in trouble or calls him names. Even if they're in their second year of university. It's been four years now.
Did the younger know these feelings Minho had?
No. Never would he even think Minho has them. And let's be honest, Minho would jump out of a window if the younger one knew.
"Hyung, do you ever plan on telling Seungmin-" poor changbin always getting cut off
"Tell me what."
"Go away Kim. I don't have time for you." Minho reply as he took out his book, in reality Minho got nervous so he need to find a way to get Seungmin to leave
"You do realise we have the same friend group, sadly." Seungmin looked at the older who just looked at Changbin asking for help, thinking the younger would.
Wrong.
Changbin was enjoying this, he loved seeing his best friend become nervous. Especially if it's caused by the boy that gets on his nerves.
Minho will admit that. Seungmin sometimes gets on his nerves, everyone knows that. Chan is sometimes responsible to stop their bickering when they go out to study as a group. Minho and Hyunjin work at a diner near campus so the group always goes there to hang out or to study.
Jisung loves going there, because he knew Minho would give anything he wanted. All he needs to do is try to kiss him and Minho would give him anything. Why? Because Minho couldn't resist Jisung.
Not that he feels anything romantic for him.
Gross.
That's what Minho would say. Plus Minho and Jisung have been friends since childhood because they were neighbours before Jisung's parents had to go to Malaysia for his dad's job. They kept in contact, they would facetime on their computer.
"Lee, are you even listening? Gosh I knew you wouldn't listen" Seungmin waved his hand in front of Minho's face
"What do you want Kim."
"As I was saying, Ms. Park thought it would be amazing if she paired us up for this project. I tried changing partners but she said she couldn't change. She was smiling too, that woman is going crazy. Anyways, we have to work together so let's meet up at your work- wait do you work today?" Seungmin asked looking at Minho
"Uh, no I don't. Changbin, you should come along, tell the others." Minho stood up not even looking at seungmin once.
Seungmin had a pout on his face. He thought he would use this opportunity to speak clearly with Minho about whatever their relationship was.
One thing Minho doesn't remember is that one night when the whole group went to Hyunjin's party, Minho got so so drunk and confessed his feelings for Seungmin leading to Seungmin kissing him.
None of his friends remember except for seungmin.

"Hyung you should stop drinking" Jeongin said as he was worried his hyung would pass out or do something he might regret
And he did.
"Minnie, can you take Minho hyung to a room? Channie hyung said we're all staying here since it's quite late to go to our dorms."
"Sure, help me get him up....okay I'll take him from here." Jeongin nodded and watched as his two friends walked away.
Jeongin knew about Minho's crush on Seungmin. He didn't mean to overhear Minho's and Changbin's conversion, he was just passing by when he heard his hyung call Seungmin cute. If you ask me, Jeongin was surprised. who would've expected Minho, that only calls no one but jeongin and his cats cute, maybe even changbin, calling his academic rival cute?
Exactly, no one.
"Hyung, wake up you're heavy" Seungmin said as he was trying to carry Minho up the stairs on his back. In reality Minho wasn't heavy but Seungmin was drunk so anything would be heavy for him.
"S-seungmin?" Minho mumbled, Seungmin just hummed
"Can I tell you s-something..?" Minho mumbled into his ear
"Let just lay you down first" Minho let seungmin move him around as if he was a doll, "okay now you can tell me hyung"
"I like you seungmin, for a while now. And right now I just want you to kiss me and make me feel butterflies like when you look at me" Minho confessed
Needless to say, Seungmin was shocked but with the amount of alcohol he still had in the system he did exactly what Minho wanted
He kissed him.
Did he like it ? Yes
Would he regret it? No but yes because Minho would probably regret
Will this change their relationship ? He hopes for the best
Would anyone know about this ? Probably only hyunjin but maybe chan since hyunjin has a big mouth and would say something. Knowing chan, he knows he could trust him
Their kiss lasted quite a while, it was a slow passion kiss and hell for sure Minho did feel those butterflies but not just him.
Seungmin also felt butterflies. It felt amazing. He had never kissed anyone because he ''wanted to kiss the right person'' he would say but in reality, he just didn't want to kiss anyone quite yet.
Until he met the older, he thought the older was beautiful since the moment he saw him but he always thought the older hated him and annoyed him.
Boy he was wrong.
Actually he kinda wasn't but we'll let him believe
"Seungmin-"
"Hyung-"
"I like you seungmin, I really do. Please don't leave me"
And he didn't. The whole night he stayed with him until morning.
When he woke up, he got scared but then remembered everything from the night before and smiled.
He watched Minho sleep until he heard the door open
"Seungmin? Hey bud I'm going to make breakfast if you want to go wash up and come down to eat or help whatever you want just leave soon because I'm sure Minho would be very surprised if he wakes up with you in bed with him. Especially cuddling, I find you guys adorable but I'm sorry to break it to you seungmin but there's a 50-50 chance Minho might remember whatever you guys did last night. Come on before he wakes up, after breakfast maybe talk to him?" Seungmin just nodded, his hyung was right.
Minho might not remember last night.
That did hurt him a little.
He did tell every little detail to his hyung. And chan being the supportive friend he is, was smiling wide to his dongsaeng. He knew about Minhos crush on seungmin but he couldn't tell seungmin because he promised not to say anything
And now he knows about Seungmins little crush and is promising to not say anything and let seungmin do it. He hopes his friends have a better relationship
And as Chan mentioned, Minho did wake up confused on how he got to bed but thought it was Chan who brought him up.
"That crazy hyung. Even changed my clothes"
Did Minho remember anything from the night before ? Nope, as chan excepted
