"You've got to be kidding me." Jimin is shocked, no that doesn't do it justice. Jimin is astonished when he hears and sees the same arrogant asshole from earlier.
"This has to be a joke right?" Jimin deadpans and the other man rolled his eyes.
"This has got to be a mistake. Why would they put me with someone so annoying?" The taller man complains and huffs as he lays on his bed.
"You think you're the one that has it hard?" Jimin retorts and the man sat up annoyed again.
"This isn't going to work. I want a new room." He pulls out his phone and allows it to ring for a minute. Jimin isn't sure who he's calling, it's a lengthy process to change your housing especially at the beginning of the year when everyone else is doing the same.
"Dad. I hate my roommate I need a new one." The man over the phone answers and it is clearly not something the boy wanted to hear. Jimin laughs at the boy again this time for calling his dad of all people.
"But this guy is so aggravating. And he ruined my shoes and didn't even apologize." He complains even more and Jimin sucks his teeth. He didn't deserve an apology.
"I ruined nothing! You could have moved! I was the one carrying a heavy basket! And stop calling me this guy, my name is Jimin." He defended himself and he heard the man laugh on the other line.
"Oh come on dad. Do you really want me to suffer all semester?" He groans and moans as the man tells him he isn't changing his situation.
"You need to learn how to deal with your own problems son." He explains and Jungkook groans one last time before hanging up the phone.
"So you're a spoiled brat." Jimin says smug looking up from his phone at the other boy.
"And you're unbearable." He responds quickly.
"I'm the unbearable one?!" Jimin is baffled at how his roommate actually believed the words he was saying.
"You ran into me! You messed up something of mine and then didn't even say you were sorry like a decent person." Jimin rolled his eyes again leaning his head back for a second to collect his thoughts and calm himself down.
"For the last time, you could have moved. I couldn't even see you!" Jimin protests and the other man just makes an irritated sound.
"This is going to be such a long semester." He rolls his eyes and walks back out the door to the other room. Jimin sat on his bed thinking the same and bewildered by the turn of events.
"This can not be real." Jimin didn't even know how to process the information. He really has to spend all semester with this guy and he doesn't even know his name. He didn't care enough to go out there and ask either. He figures this will be just like last semester where he and his roommate barely communicate. He is warming up ramen in the microwave when the door opens making him jump a little.
"Rules." Is the only thing the other man says before he waits for Jimin to acknowledge him.
"Ahem." He clears his throat trying to get the other man's attention and Jimin refuses to answer to anything but his name.
"What did you even say your name is? Jimmy? Johnny? Jinnie?" The taller man started listing off random names and Jimin whipped his head sending a death glare towards him.
"It's Jimin you idiot!" He exclaims and he is more then surprised to see the other man smiling rather largely.
"You know that you're super easy to mess with right?" It only makes Jimin angrier that the other man was right.
"Look you idiot I'm not dealing with your shit all semester. Just leave me alone." He grabbed his food out of the microwave and sat at his desk.
"Stop calling me 'you idiot' it's Jungkook." He corrects and Jimin groans to himself.
"I didn't ask." He turns back to the food and picks up his chop sticks.
"Rules." Jungkook says again this time a bit more firm and Jimin glares at him again. He can't stand how annoying his new roommate is.
"God you just don't quit. I just wanna eat my ramen." He huffs and slightly whines looking back at his roommate.
"Eat it. All you have to do is listen." Jungkook says almost making Jimin not even want to eat it out of spite.
"I don't have to follow your rules." Jimin responds and Jungkook snapped.
"Can you shut up for like two seconds?" Jungkook looks irritated, you can see his angry eyebrows and eyes rolling.
"Keep telling me to shut up and see what happens." Jimin threatens making the other man sigh loudly.
"Just listen." Jimin finally just takes a bite of his ramen rather than arguing more.
"One. Clean up after yourself. I don't do dirty and I won't start because you don't know how to clean." He made a disgusted face and the other just gave him a blank stare. Jimin was the furthest thing from dirty. To be completely honest he was borderline a clean freak.
"Two. No sex while I'm here. I don't care what you do or with who but not while I am present." Jimin waited again for the man to continue talking because he knew he would continue talking.
"Three. Don't associate with me. I get you may be lame and have no friends or reputation but I on the other hand might win prom king. So please don't go around trying to use that I'm your roommate as a way to be popular." He says in all seriousness making Jimin burst into laughter loudly.
"Oh my god I promise you I wouldn't tell a soul that I have to room with you. That would be embarrassing." Jimin isn't lame, he has friends and he is pretty well known around campus because he is literally gorgeous.
"Four. Don't touch my stuff. That's easy, touch my stuff and I swear I will destroy everything you own." He pushes right past Jimins comment not liking how it made him feel.
"I wouldn't touch anything that doesn't belong to me. And I assure you that if you touch my stuff I'll genuinely beat your ass." Jimin is very aggressive in saying that but Jungkook could only laugh.
"Yea sure. You're like five feet tall but okay." He brushed Jimin off and the shorter man balls his fist. He can't stand this kid and he doesn't know how he'll control himself the entire semester. Everything the younger says makes Jimin wanna punch him in the face.
"I'm 5"8 you idiot!" Jimin defends himself and Jungkook laughs even more. He is having way too much fun teasing his new roommate.
"You know what since you have rules so do I." Jimin stands up forgetting about the ramen now and leans against the desk.
"One. Don't be a fucking dick head. I'm not dealing with your attitude or games. So can you just refrain from being a complete moron?" Jungkook giggles a little bit the shorter continues.
"Two. No sex while I'm here. Same as you." The other nodded.
"Three. I don't care how drunk I come back to this dorm, don't try to make a move on me. Ever." Jimin makes the point very clear and makes eye contact with the other man. Jungkook didn't say anything for a second as he got lost in the shorter eyes. He can't believe someone so beautiful and effortlessly sexy can be so agitating and intolerable.
"Ew yea right." Jungkook laughs it off feeling his face heat up slightly when he realized he was caught staring. He quickly looks away to avoid more eye contact.
"Anyways four, I study a lot. Can you just not be screaming if I'm doing school work?" Jimin asks feeling defeated already and the man hasn't even answered yet. Jungkook looks up and crosses his arms with a smirk.
"Anything else your highness?" Jungkook says sarcastically and the older was done with this.
"No. Are we done?" He asks and Jungkook seems like he has more to say.
"Fine." Jungkook gave in and sat on his bed done with the conversation.
"Cool." Jimin immediately puts his head phones in and starts to eat his ramen again. This really is going to be a long semester.
