𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐀𝐖𝐎𝐊𝐄 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐀𝐍 aching head, aching foot, dried tears, and dried drool on the side of your mouth. Yesterday's memories flooded into your head like a dam had broken which had out you in an even worse mood.
After stretching your arms above your head, you wiped your face with your hand to get most of the tears and drool off before putting all your strength in getting up from the comfort of your bed and onto the floor that forced to face reality every morning.
You had almost fell back completely and had to lean most of your weight onto the bed, as the black dots welcomed themselves into your vision like it's their home. The faintness you felt and the headache together was seriously not a good mix.
You could barely see anything ahead of you as the dots had taken up majority of your sight. The faintness began to feel stronger and you felt light on your feet so you grabbed the bed with both hands in hopes of steadying yourself better.
Taking in a deep breath, you continued to stay in that position. It was normal for you—but despite that, it was extra annoying. Just another nuisance you had to deal with in daily life.
Soon enough, it ends and you can see your room clearly. Once you were absolutely sure you could move again without tumbling down to the floor, you made your way to the bathroom.
On your way there, a certain jacket catches your eye, stopping you in walk.
You were sober. You can think better now. You picked up the coat which was hanging from your chair and inspected it. It looked familiar. In fact, the man, the owner himself looked familiar.
A light bulb practically lights up above your head when you finally remember. His name was Chigiri. He was the bartender that gave you the drinks you asked for while you were watching your ex and his supposedly new girlfriend.
His hair was in a high ponytail and he wore your usual long sleeved (which was rolled up to his elbows) white shirt, black vest, black pants, and a black tie.
You knew you should give the coat back, best if it happened today. Except you didn't know when he worked. What if he doesn't work on monday nights? Then again, it's possible he does work tonight but doesn't work tomorrow night so if you go tomorrow you'll be going for nothing.
Whatever. Why worry about someone else's shift when you have your own? Rubbing your eye, you continue your walk to the bathroom in order to freshen up and get ready.

You spent most of your morning, waiting the appropriate time to get to work while watching stuff on social media. So now here you were, standing behind the cashier, waiting for someone. It was close to the end of your shift and work was going a little slow. Less customers were coming in than usual.
You were working at a cafe that was mainly famous for its pastries and coffee designs—which you were proud to say you were in charge of. It was a peaceful job, a nice break from the stresses of the world.
Well, most of the time. Aside from all of the customers who came in expecting all sorts of impossible things or acting difficult, everyone was nice.
You were looking down at your phone when the bell on the door rings. You look up and are greeted with a familiar face who smiles at you. And beside him, was accompanying someone who stared at his phone, barely minding his surroundings. You brighten up, pleased to see a regular. "Welcome again, Reo."
"Hey, [Name]." He waves, rocking on his heels once he reaches the counter, "How're you?"
His question made you hesitate for a split second, "...Fine, thanks for asking. The usual?"
"Yup," the purple head watches you type in his order. One he tends to always ask for. He snaps out of his daze and nudges the white haired male who gave him a look of confusion. Reo gestures towards you and the other makes an O shape with his mouth.
"Can I just get a hot chocolate?" He adds and you nod, also typing in his order. Once you finish you tel them their price and Reo pays. The price didn't matter to him as much, given he pays with a black card. His white haired friend, whose name you learned was Nagi, left to go to an open table while Reo stayed to chat with you.
He watched as you put together his usual drink and food like it was practically muscle memory. "So... how's you and that boyfriend of yours?"
Right.
Him.
Reo seemed to have noticed the way you stopped moving for a quick second before returning back to filling up the cups. "Somethin' happened between you guys...?"
"Uh, yeah. We ended it. He was cheating." You spoke as if it didn't bother you anymore, as if it happened weeks ago and it didn't matter. But no, of course it bothered you and it mattered. How could someone just go behind someone's back like that?
Silence fell upon the both of you, one was distracted by her saddened thoughts and the other was beyond joyful. Did he show it? No. Obviously.
Why would someone be happy about someone else's partner cheating on them? "I'm sorry to hear that, (y/n)." After years and years of putting up a fake façade and masking his true emotions/intentions, it wasn't hard to hide how happy he was.
Instead of delight, his eyes shone sympathy and as much as he wanted to smile, his lips were pulled down into a small frown. "It's whatever." You say after finishing the design on the hot chocolate. "Here you go." Your nonchalant facial expression melts into a softer look of relaxation.
It's better to get your mind off of that other matter. He's not in your life anymore so best to move on. Plus, you had someone way more important to worry about. Your best friend whom you can no longer see or speak with.
Reo thanks you with a smile and walks off to the table where his friend sat with the things they both ordered.
"Who is that?" Nagi asks, lifting his gaze up from his phone to the hot chocolate in a nice little cup. "You know her?"
"'Course I do. Known her for a couple months now." Grape head responds. He then sighs and rests his head on the palm of his hand, taking sips out of his drink from the straw. His facial expression showing nothing much.
The white haired male hummed and stared at the flower cream designs that you had made on his hot chocolate. It was cute. And impressive. He looked up from the drink and instead chose to observe you.
You were leaning against the desk while watching something on your phone, clearly displaying your boredom. Your hair was nice. So were your eyes. You continued to keep yours attention on your phone until the door on the bell rang again.
It was easy to see the change in demeanor, Nagi thought. The moment someone walked in the corner of your lips lifted into what looked like a genuine smile. You greeted that person with such a warm aura, it was so enticing.
"Hey, Reo?" At the mention of his name, Reo hums in acknowledgement, prompting him to continue. "Can I come here with you more often?"
Reo just shrugs, not really caring, "I don't see why not."
