My first month here in the U.S. was dull. I'm always in my dorm if I've got nothing to do at the university. Sometimes I'm painting, but most of the time I'm just staring at nothing.
Jeane was also here, but I'm glad that she's not my roommate. She's living next door, while I, on the other hand, chose to be alone in one room.

Mahirap mag adjust pero tinanim ko sa utak ko na kailangan ko to. Kailangan kong maging maayos at maging matatag kahit na mag isa lang ako.
During those times that I was alone, I invested a lot in my arts. I practiced more day by day until I was given the opportunity to have my own art exhibit after months of going in and out of school and meeting different kinds of people who also appreciate the arts. All the paintings I made were displayed, and the university sponsored everything I needed to promote my work and showcase my talents in the arts. I received my certificate alongside other artists and students like me who were striving to live up to the name they dreamed of having and created on their own.
It's one of the best achievements I've had so far.
A loud knock from my door interrupted my peaceful afternoon. I lazily walk towards it and peek through the peephole.
She's here again..
Binuksan ko ang pinto at bubungangaan na sana sya pero inangat lang nya yung tupperware ng pagkain.
"I made some pasta."
"Jeane——"
"Wag ka na maarte."
Dinuldol nya iyon sa dibdib ko kaya wala akong choice kundi ang hawakan. Lumawak naman ang ngiti nya at sumilip pa sa room ko.
"Busy ka ngayon? Tapos nako sa project natin. Baka gusto mong sumama lumabas mamaya."
"Ayaw ko"
Isasara ko na sana ang pinto pero sinalag nya ang braso nya duon at ngumuso pa.
"Dali na. Wag ka naman kj, hindi ka ba nabuburyo dito? Halos hindi ka na lumabas, ang putla putla——"
"Why are you so loud?"- iritang tanong ko at pinaningkitan sya ng mata.
"I'm loud in bed too."- she said and winked.
I grimaced and pushed her away from the door.
"Puro ka kamanyakan."
Humagalpak sya ng tawa at humarang ulit sa pinto para hindi ko maisara.
"Joke lang naman. Pero gusto mo itry natin? Curious din ako anong itsura mo——"
"Shut up and leave me alone."
Nagtagumpay naman akong maitulak sya at naisarado ko na yung pinto. Napabuga nalang ako ng hangin at napasuklay sa buhok ko.
Ang lakas talaga ng tama nya. Tinignan ko yung hawak kong tupperware at binuksan ito.
I unconsciously smiled after smelling it. It looks delicious. Nagtungo kaagad ako sa maliit na kusina at kumuha ng tinidor. Naupo ako sa bangko at tinaas ang mga paa ko saka ako kumain ng tahimik.
Naubos ko iyon at napa dighay pa nga ako. Masarap pala sya magluto.
Hinugasan ko na yung pinagkainan ko pagkatapos ay kumuha naman ako ng damit at nag tungo na sa banyo para maligo.
Natagpuan ko nalang yung sarili ko na nasa tapat ng room ni Jeane. Unang lumabas yung roommate nyang babae at nagulat pa ng makita ako.
Seryoso ko lang itong tinignan kahit nakangiti naman ito sa akin. Balak pa yata akong batiin pero mas piniling manahimik nalang at umalis sa harap ko.
"What the hell! Nakakagulat ka naman dyan!"- singhal nya pagkakita nya sa akin.
Katulad ko ay nakabihis din sya pero naka dress sya ngayon at naka make up. Maayos din ang buhok nya at mabango sya ha.
"San tayo?"- malamig na sambit ko.
She raised her eyebrow and smiled cheekily. "I thought you didn't want to hang out."
"I changed my mind."
Lumapit sya sakin at kumawit sa braso ko. Tinanggal ko naman iyon pero binalik lang nya at hinatak na nya ako.
"I'll teach you a lot of things. Promise ko sayo mag eenjoy ka sa lahat ng ituturo ko."
I swallowed hard, and I admit I got nervous seeing her grin. I guess my plan to live peacefully here will never come true because of her.
True to her words, she taught me a lot of things. Ang minsan na pagpayag ko ay naulit ng naulit sa bawat lumilipas na araw at buwan wala yatang palya ang pag gala at pag punta namin kung saan saan pero hindi naman namin pinapabayaan ang pag aaral.
We drink, we laugh, we cry, and we even get tattoos. She even brought me to a stripper club, where I really got culture shock.
Seeing a naked woman dance in front of me is something I cannot forget. It sent shivers down my spine, and I feel like I'm sinning even though I'm single and free to mingle.
Ako yung hiyang hiya e. Lalo pa nuong nasayawan ako mismo sa harap ko at tawa lang ng tawa si Jeane.
Duon din nya nalaman ang sikreto ko. Hindi ko naman kasalanan na magigising iyon kaya naman nang mapansin nya iyon ay nagulat sya at nag offer pa ng tulong.
Isusubo daw nya. What the hell di ba? Ang balahura talaga nya minsan.
But even though she's like that, she never crosses the line with me. She still knows her boundaries, even though she's freaking liberated.
She's a clingy person, but she's not touching me inappropriately, which I'm thankful for.
Sa mga nagdaan buwan wala talaga akong inupdate sa family ko. Minsan tumatawag si mama para kamustahin ako at sabihin umuwi na daw ako dahil miss na daw nya ako. Sa tuwing nagkukwento sya at mababanggit sina Kuya at Addison ay nagpapaalam na ako at pinapatay ang tawag.
Hanggat maari ayaw ko makarinig ng kwento patungkol sa kanya. Ang nakakapagtaka lang ay kung bakit hindi pa sila engage. Sabi after college pero ilang buwan na ang lumipas ay hindi pa yata nag popropose si Kuya o baka naman dinadahan dahan lang nila at ineenjoy muna ang 20's nila.
"Hayst!"
Nilukumos ko yung bond paper dahil mukha na naman nya yung na idrawing ko.
Palagi nalang! Sa tuwing nalipad ang isip ko magugulat nalang ako na idrawing ko na pala sya.
Why can't I forget her angelic face? No matter how much I go out and have fun, at the end of the day I always find myself sulking in my room and thinking about our friendship.
The friendship I failed to protect because of my impulsive decision that day.

After my morning class, I found myself sitting under the tree and drawing a beautiful scene in front of me.
Hindi din naman nagtagal ay sumulpot na si Jeane sa harapan ko at sinilip ang ginagawa ko.
"There's someone who wants to ask you out."
"Tell that person that I'm not available."- walang pakealam na sabi ko.
"Maganda sya at type ka nya."
"Ayaw ko. Stop bringing me such news because I don't find it funny."
"Sungit sungit mo naman po, Miss."
Sumandal sya sa gilid at bulong pa din ng bulong. Medyo na didistract tuloy ako sa pag dadrawing dahil sa kanya.
"Why don't you try dating someone? Train your little Juztine. Sa shape pa naman nyan sa pants mo mukhang malaki at nangwawasak——"
Mabilis kong tinakpan ang bibig nya at pinanlakihan sya ng mga mata. Napakaingay talaga.
"Don't test my patience. If you won't stop bugging me, I will freaking try it with you."
Imbes na matakot ay ngumisi pa sya at tinanggal ang kamay ko sa bibig nya.
"Before you threaten me, make sure you know how to kiss properly, okay?"
Nagpanting ang tainga ko. I know what she's talking about. Nung minsan nalasing kasi kami ay nahalikan namin ang isat isa pero hindi totally grabe. Matagal lang na nagdikit ang labi namin that time dahil hindi ko alam kung paano kikilos. Hiyang hiya ako nuon araw na iyon dahil nalaman nyang sya ang first kiss ko.
She leant closer into my ear and whispered using her bedroom voice.
"I'm alone in my room later. You can come, and I'll teach you something you haven't experienced before."
Tumayo na sya at dinampot ang mga gamit nya. Naiwan akong nakatulala at awang ang bibig habang nakasunod ang mga mata ko sa kanya.

I'm pacing back and forth inside my room while biting my lower lip. I looked outside the window and saw that the sun was already setting.
I went to bed and tapped my phone to dial Jeane's number, but she's not answering me. I guess she really wants me to go there on my own.
Tumayo ako at hinubad ang tee-shirt ko. Dumiretso ako sa banyo para maligo at nagbihis ng komportableng damit.
Pinatuyo ko ang hanggang balikat kong buhok at sinuklay ng maayos. Hindi ako naghahanda sa pagkikita namin. Sadyang malinis naman na talaga ako sa katawan. Well except sa meron akong minimalist tattoo sa bandang collarbone.
"You came!"
Mabilis nya akong hinatak papasok ng room nya at nilock ang pinto. Wala nga syang kasama dito. Napansin ko yung nakabukas nyang laptop at yung mga chips na nagkalat sa harap niyon.
"Have a seat. We're going to watch something."
I silently did what she told me to do and grabbed a fistful of the food she was offering me. I didn't bother to read the title of the movie and just proceeded to watch it with her.
Nung una medyo okay pa yung takbo ng kwento e pero habang tumatagal ay mas dumadami yata yung kissing scene.
Napalunok ako at pinilit maging kalmado. Kumakain pa din ako pero halos hindi ko na malunok ito dahil sa naririnig ko sa screen. Nilingon ko ang katabi ko na naka poker face lang. Nagsalubong ang kilay ko at inabot yung bote ng tubig kaya lang bago ko pa mainom iyon ay naibuga ko na ulit.

She laughed and stopped the movie. She turned her whole body my way and stared at me.

Nagbalak ako tumayo pero pinigilan nya ako.

Napasinghap ako sa bigla nyang paglapit. Hinaplos nya ang pisnge ko habang hindi tinatanggal ang pagkakatitig sa mga mata ko.

I'm contemplating whether to say something, but I chose to remain silent. She traced my lips and jaw down to my pulsing neck.

I cursed mentally when she leaned closer without breaking our eye contact.
"We're both free to mingle, Juztine. What's holding you back, hmm? It's just us here."
"Are you seducing me?"
"Hindi. Hindi ka nagkakamali."- nakangising sagot nya.

She let me kiss her jawline down to her neck while whispering instructions in my ear.
She gasped, and I hid my face against her neck after nipping it. I'm embarrassed because I know she felt me down there.
She caressed my hair, and I heard her mischievous laugh.
"Someone's turned on. Hmm, what should we do about it?"
"We can't do sex, Jeane."
"I know, but it's not always necessary to be that hole. My mouth and hands can help you have your release."
She got off my lap and kneeled down in front of me. She pushed my hands away from my crotch area and started unbuckling my belt.
I want to stop her, but it looks like she's really determined to make me lose my innocence.

Well, at least I've got to experience how to be free for almost a year of staying here. Everything that happened here was like the wildest dreams a person could ever have.
