"What are you doing here?" Lu Zhao was originally dealing with official business, but he was a little surprised to see a woman walking in with Wen Du. She looked cute and demure.
"This is my assistant, Chen Lin."
Chen Lin was very young. She looked at Lu Zhao with sparkling eyes.
Lu Zhao didn't look at the woman. He kept his eyes on Wen Du. "I did not call for you. I've been doing fine. Why are you here?"

Wen Du did not pursue the matter further and continued to guide him patiently. "How are you and your grandfather doing recently?"
Lu Zhao had never been acknowledged by his family before, and this was one of the reasons why Lu Zhao had such a fragile psyche.
At the mention of Old Master Lu, Lu Zhao clenched his fists tightly.
