Winter felt strangely warm. The strange warmth was safe, and a comfortable blanket was wrapped around her body. She concluded that she was inside some strange enclosed enclosure. She didn't seem to have any struggle with breathing inside of whatever she was inside of, which was surprising to her is that there didn't seem to be an opening to breathe from. She also was in a fetal position with her back curled. Her eyes were closed tight.
'Where am I? How did I get here?' She thought, confused about what was going on.
She strained her memory of her tiny head to try to remember everything her foster family, her death, and meeting a strange god, but she didn't remember anything at all. Her whole memory was completely wiped.
'I accept that my memory is gone. I just have to start this life anew.' Winter thought to herself from inside the warmth.
She moved her tiny limbs in the space. She discovered that she had a tail. She moved it as well. She hit the barrier around and realized that it felt like the shell of an egg. She now knew where she was. She quickly felt tired from moving her new limbs and drifted asleep.
'I can't wait to see the world!' Winter thought happily and sleepily.

When she finally woke up about three hours later, she heard voices outside the egg. They were more like grunts and meowing but translated into words inside her tiny head.
"The egg is due to hatch anytime, Emily," A deep masculine voice said.
"Yea, I know, Midnight! I can't wait to meet my tiny baby," A feminine said excitedly.
'I want to come out now! I want to meet my new parents!' Winter thought desperately.
She moved her limbs widely and kicked the shell of the egg."I'm coming on out now!" She said to herself mentally.
Her parents let out an excited squeal!
"Midnight, the egg hatchling!" Her mom gasped.
"Wow!" Her dad shouted.
Winter's kicks cracked the egg, and she finally emerged from it. Cool air rushed through her face. She gasped and took a breath of air for the first time. Winter started taking slow breaths of air.
"Wow, she is adorable!" Her mom squealed."What should we name her?" She asked.
"Sakura, it's such a beautiful for such a special color baby," Her father said with a smile.
"I agree a shiny baby like her deserves a beautiful name like Sakura," Her mom agreed.
'Sakura! That is my new name!' Winter thought; now named Sakura, happily.
Sakura tried to open her eyes, but there was a blinding light, so she shut them tight again. However, she could definitely smell and hear. She could smell flowers and the forest. She could smell a strong and mysterious scent coming from his dad. Sakura could hear the voices of the other Pokemon in the area. While she didn't have one sense, her other senses were more potent than usual. She tried to stand up, but her tiny limbs wouldn't support her. She let out a soft tiny squeal.
She suddenly felt her tail waving behind her. She turned her tail towards her face and felt the softness and fluffiness of it. She brushed it against her nose, causing her to sneeze cutely. Sakura squeaked in surprise as she fell back to the ground.
Her mother chuckled.
"Little Skaura, we don't play with our tails. Now why don't you come and sleep next to me?"
Sakura crawled her way to the warmth of her mother's body and the fluff of her tail brushing against Sakura. It then occurred to her that she was crawling into soft bedding. Finally, she snuggled beneath her and into her belly. She smelt of a beautiful flora scent. Her body was covered in soft fur, she was as comfortable as a warm blanket. She let the warmth take over her and fell asleep.

A couple of weeks had passed since Winter, now known as Sakura, hatched out of her egg. Her memory was gone entirely; she even forgot that her old name was Winter. She had zero recollection of her past life.
She had also spent most of her time sleeping, as her body needed to grow. One week she opened her eyes for the first time, making her parents happy and excited. The blinding that prevented Sakura from opening her eyes was gone, and she could open them.
She looked around curiously. There were blobs of green and brown around her. There was a fuzzy image of purple and cream and a blurry image of white and blue staring at her.
"Her eyes are gorgeous!" The purple and cream blob, which was her mom, gasped.
"I'm so glad she finally opened them! She will surely become a strong Delcatty one day!" The white and dark blue blob, which was her dad, said.
'What is a Delcatty?' Sakura thought. She looked at her body and saw she was a peach and yellow blob.
Sakura's eyes were still developing, so she couldn't see clear images yet. Her mother went away for a few minutes with her father, keeping a close eye on her. Her mother then brought back a large blue berry. Well, at least larger compared to her since she was so small.
"Here you go, baby. Eat this oran berry. It will help you grow big and strong," Her mom said.
She took a bite of the oran berry. It was very sweet and delicious. Sakura nibbled it until it was all gone. Then let out a small burp.
"Good girl!" Her mom smiled.
Sakura curled up in a balk and fell asleep.
Two months later, Sakura had grown larger and stronger. Her tail was even fluffier than before. She could see images clearly with her eyes, and she was learning how to walk.
She looked at herself. She had peach fur and a yellow crest moon face and underbelly. Sakura also had purple inside of her ears, four stubby feet, and three yellow balls at the end of her tail. Unlike Sakura, her mother was larger. She had a tan body, a pointed whisker-like production on each cheek. Her ears were purple and had three tufts of fur at the tips, and there was a purple ruff-like collar with pin-like extensions around her neck. Her legs were slim with tiny digit-less paws. She also has a purple flower-like tuft of hair on the end of her thin tail. Her eyes were black with white sclera.
However, her father's appearance was very different. He had white fur with some dark blue coloration. He had a ruff around his neck and chest and a tuft on top of his head adorned with a single black oval. Between the dark fur, the curvature of the white fur on his head, and the position of his horn, his face resemble a wu wei symbol. He had an almond shape feline face, red eyes, a scythe-like tail, and scythe shaped horn on the side of his head. His broad feet are equipped with three claws and dewclaw-like spikes pot rude from the heels of his hind legs and the elbows of his front legs. He let off the scent of seawater as if he just took a swim instead of her mom's flora scent.
Sakura had been busy learning to walk. She tried her best trying to walk on her four feet, but she always tripped and stumbled.
"Come on, Sakura, you can do it," Her mom smiled.
Sakura stumbled on her four tiny legs and started walking toward her mom. Her mom smiles, showing her shiny white teeth.
Sakura stumbled and fell, crying.
"Don't let it discourage you, now try again," Her mom said.
Sakura smiled and got on up. She walked wobbly straight to her mom.
"You did it, baby girl! You learn to walk."
Sakura yipped in delight. She couldn't talk yet like her parents.
Sakura nuzzled her mom's legs. They were warm and fluffy.
"Come, little one. Sleep next to me," Her mom smiled."You need to grow!"
Her mom curled up and used her front paws to pull Sakura close to her body. She was so comfortable and warm in her new life. She yawned and soaked in the warmth of her mom's fur and the afternoon sun and went to sleep.
