Ryu is currently in the hideout healing up from his intense fight with yuno
Luck: hey look asta isn't budging an inch he's just like a statue
Gray: is he still breathing
Noelle: yeah as far as I can tell but he isn't himself losing the tournament must have hit him really hard
Magna: he seemed really busted up over it especially since the two people he calls his rivals ended the finals in a draw also I don't think he expected them both to have so much power
Gauche: and the shock of being surpassed by his long standing rival and his newest rival will keep getting worse with everyday that passes trust me I know the feeling my sister, my goddess, each day I have to go without seeing you damages my body even deeper
Ryu stops paying attention
Ryu: (am I really the reason why asta is so down all I did was try my hardest to win, dammit the reason I wanted to get so strong is because I wanted to make sure that asta didn't have to do all the work next time we face a strong enemy)
The gang starts acting super cheerful
Ryu: huh what's going on
Magna: oh finally back with us we are trying to cheer asta up
Ryu: alright yeah
Magna: here now asta once you get selected you can catch up to mr cool and mr emo in no time and then leave them in the dust
Asta: I'm not so sure I mean I did get eliminated after all will I even get in
Vanessa: don't sweat the small stuff sweety
Ryu: you know what she's right
Noelle: yeah have some more faith in yourself in mean I did win in the finals after all so obviously I'll be selected
Ryu: HEY IT WAS A DRAW AND WHO GOT THEIR ASS BEAT BY YOURS TRULY
Noelle: uh well
Magna: Yeah, you only got that far anyway because you where luck enough to be on a team with pretty boy, even though ryu was teamed with a captain he still managed to shine on his own
Ryu: thank you magna
Magna; anytime
Noelle: at least I'm better than you it was your magic that caused your team to lose
Magna: I can't believe you would dare address your superior like that don't you talk to me like I'm so clueless rookie
Noelle: I am royalty you know
Ryu: yeah you never let us forget it
Magna: and no-one cares you know
Gray: will you there stop arguing please
Noelle: fine whatever stop worrying about asta and worry about your own chances
Magna; but there's nothing to be worried about i totally made it into the royal knights
Luck: wow magna your completely terrified aren't you
In a few seconds later after some more trying to cheer asta up
Yami: hey how about a nice bath
Yami is revealed to be almost completely naked
Yami then drags asta off to the bath
The boys join them
Ryu: you know what this is very nice
The girls start making a lot of noise
Yami: damn those chatty ladies sure are noisy anyway your situations really gets me thinking
Magna; about what
Yami: shut up and I'll tell you, it was when I first joined up with the magic knight squad known as the gray deer this was about 2 maybe 3 years before I met Ryu it's called the aqua deer now but it was gray back when julius was their captain
Ryu: (I've heard this story before but it's enjoyable reminds me of when I trained with Yami)
Ryu beings to think about his training
We cut to a little kid Ryu wielding a practise sword and doing well practise
Yami: that's good kid now just keep practising
After a little while
Yami: ok I think you are strong enough now
Ryu: for what
He's suddenly lifted up and carried
Ryu: ahh what are you don't
Yami: taking your training to the next level you will be training to sense ki
Ryu: oh that power you use to sense where people are
Yami: yup
Ryu is dropped down after what feels like hours
Yami: this is the forest where I found those beasts and it's crawling with them here so you will use his Katana which was made for you
Ryu is handed a katana: wow this is cool
Yami: yeah it is it will be your one defence from now until you unlock your magic I'll be back for you in about a two week hope you survive
Ryu: wait...WHAT!?
Yami: this is how I train kid get used to it
Ryu: tch means old man
Yami: I HEARD THAT AND I'M TWENTY TWO
Ryu gets scared
Ryu notices that the sun will go down soon
Ryu: ugh better start gathering stuff otherwise I'm gonna die here
Using his sword he manages to get a hold of a lot of wood
Ryu: great this'll be used for a fire
Luckily while wondering around he manages to find a good sized tree he then proceeds to do a slash in the shape of a semi circle which cuts it nice and cleanly
Ryu: ahh not much room but good for shelter before I can get a better one
Ryu knowing survival basics creates a fire
Ryu: hmm this has been pretty chill so far but I need to get food I could survive two weeks without food but doesn't sound like much fun
Ryu puts his sword on his back and goes hunting
Ryu: wait I'm supposed to be training for ki and not just trying to survive
Ryu keeps walking until he sees a small cute bear
Ryu: oh well you aren't very big or good for training but good enough to eat but then
Bear: ROAR!
Ryu: AHH
Ryu has to keep dodging attacks from the enormous beast
This thing is at least 3x his side
Ryu starts running away
The bear just runs right after him and whacks him into a tree
Ryu: ahh that hurt but there's no way I'm giving up Yami wants me to become stronger and I'm not going to let him down
Ryu stands right up and begins to fight the beast one on one
He dodges the attacks by a hair but keeping get scratched and is losing blood
Ryu: there's a moment when this things swing is too wide and it leaves its belly exposed so I need to predict, dodge and strike but as for actually doing that...
He gets lost thought and struck again
He's on the floor and the bear is about to finish him
Ryu: dammit
All of a sudden the beast begins to slow down
Ryu: he's going to swing with its right arm
Ryu rolls out of the way draws his sword and stabs it right in the stomach
Ryu: HAAAA
Ryu pushes the sword further into the beasts stomach a dark aura forms around him
Ryu: NOW DIE!
Ryu raises his sword and slices open the beasts stomach
The beast falls to the forest floor
Ryu; ugh I need this meat to heal up
Ryu with all his strength remaining manages to get the beast to where he made camp
Ryu slices the beast up
He proceeds to cook it and then after a while he eats it all up
Ryu: phew that was good could of cooked it better but it filled me up
Ryu then set some leaves up as a bed and fell asleep to let his body heal
Ryu woke up the next morning
Ryu: thirteen more days to go
Ryu manages to find a river to clean himself and get water
He then hears a snarling
Ryu: so you must be pretty strong huh LETS GO
for the next two weeks Ryu grew he became faster on his feet and learned ki faster than almost anyone turns out when you need to learn it to be stop yourself from being eaten it comes pretty quickly
Yami: so you didn't die after all well time to level up to your next stage of training being able to tap into ki at anytime not your when you are in danger
Present day
Ryu: (and I did I became stronger and learned Ki maybe that's what I need to do for my new power go to into the wild and train it will trying to survive I will grow stronger asta and Leo will catch up but I won't stop)
And just then a fiery beast blasts through the door
And that's a rap this chapter was unplanned but I'm happy with it
