Every 1st year student ran full force and speed for the exit, the moment they all ran into the narrow hallway, is when the first test truly began. Livitz being 5'3 was getting rightfully shoved, pushed harshly into others, and elbowed. Feeling the cold breeze of the familiar sensation around her ankle, Livitz knew it was Todoroki using his quirk.
Not wanting to waste her quirk on trying to break out of his ice, she grabbed the shoulder blades of random students surrounding her and pushed herself up. The ice cold attack was quick and hit right under her mere seconds after she had moved. Surprised by how focused the attack was, Livitz quickly began pushing past the frozen peers to exit the narrow hallway finally.
Once she was out, Livitz blasted her body up and when hitting impact on the iced over ground, she slid using a light amount of her acid from the soles of her feet. As a variety of the students had found ways to avoid Todoroki's ice attack, everyone was moving through the Obstacle Course at a rapid pace.
On edge, not knowing what to expect, Livitz was being diligent when moving quickly across the ice. Reaching the end of the large attack from Todoroki, the student's gazes were caught by the bot villains from the entrance exam, both the small and large ones.
Having learned not to hesitate when in combat at the USJ, Livitz swiftly blasted herself up the body of a 0 pointer, before sliding down the arm and using her acid. As she jumped away from her attack, she snapped her fingers together resulting in an explosion that destroyed a fair amount of the bot.
"I am not going to waste too much time on this, I can afford to blackout this early." Looking back when sprinting away after her attack, Livitz felt the strong air pressure of a collapsing bot from behind her as it caused her to fall off balance.
All of class 1-A had learned not to hesitate after the events of the USJ attack, they had confidence in their combat abilities with both the physical strength and quirk strength within their bodies. Staying close behind Todoroki, Livitz was trying her hardest to catch up, but it was clear he was faster.
After seeing him disappear from her view of vision, she was hesitant when approaching the second part of the Obstacle Course. Livitz had swiftly caught herself when seeing the drop of the ground beneath her.
Observing the scenery around her, she tapped her chin trying to devise a quick but safe plan. Large gaps had divided several pieces of landmass and were being held to one another with ropes.
"Thank god for balance beams in gymnastics..." Placing her foot at the edge of the first rope, she carefully balanced her body weight, making sure to be mindful of what could happen if she wasn't careful.
After walking across three of the ropes, she had been balanced with her body before having the courage to lightly jog across them. "GOLDILOCKS! YOU ARE NOT BEATING ME!!" Shocked to hear the absolute rage in his tone of speaking, she glanced behind her to see Bakugou blasting himself toward her.
Panicking when hearing him, Livitz picked up her pace when seeing that both Todoroki and Bakugou were now ahead of her. Reaching the end of the second obstacle, she blasted herself into the air, and when landing she hit the ground incorrectly, causing a crack in her ankle to be heard.
A loud yelp left her voice and she fell to the ground, holding her hand over the treacherous pain aching in her ankle. Tilting her head to see what was behind her, she saw more people approaching. "Fuck no... I am not losing."
Pushing past the agony she felt, she began lightly sprinting to catch up to the two male classmates. Seeing Todoroki and Bakugou battling for the first place position, it was clear they were being careful with movements across the third obstacle.
Looking around with other students, they observed the area to see several reburied patches of dirt, indicating there was something underneath them. Moving across the area as fast as she could, Livitz was being mindful, especially when hearing explosions from beneath other students' feet.
When focusing on the areas she was walking over, Livitz was doing her best to make sure she didn't get blasted. The blonde didn't want to be blasted into the air, especially with her already injured ankle. After a moment of clear thoughts, her eardrums along with several others were hit with a massive and powerful explosion from the front of the final obstacle.
Looking up from the large mass of dust and debris from the explosion, the student seen was the green haired boy named Deku. Todoroki and Bakugou had seen the blast too because they began fighting for first place with Deku as they picked up their combat skill when moving recklessly across the minefield.
Narrowing her eyebrows, Livitz was going to give her all today. As if playing hopscotch without the stone, she began swiftly moving from side to side, avoiding the variety of explosives in the ground.
As the students began running through the minefield, while several were acting recklessly, a fair amount were also being patient and taking every movement into accountability when moving. Another blast from the three students of class 1-A in the lead, Deku used his fellow peers as step stools to launch the metal he had into more of the explosives.
Blasting far forward past everyone else, Deku ran quickly, clearly showing he was going to work hard to prove that he deserves his spot in the hero course. Livitz being just behind them, she ran behind them with every ounce of strength she had through the narrow entrance to the stadium.
Feeling the blinding lights of the sun in her retinas, Livitz was breathing rapidly before falling onto her back. Proud of where she had placed in the first round, Livitz did not doubt her abilities, knowing she had proved herself by being the first female done with the Obstacle Course.
Sitting up from her original position, the familiar silhouette of Deku appeared before Livitz. Without hesitation or asking, he helped her up and wrapped her right arm around his shoulder, while his left arm snaked around her waist to hold her up.
"I saw you fall whenever I got to the second obstacle. Seeing how you fell to the ground, rather than running off immediately, I figured you hurt your ankle for the millionth time." He joked lightly with her, trying to make the focus go away from the pain she had felt. Giggling at what he had said, Livitz knew he wasn't wrong because she had sprained and broken her ankles several times growing up around one another.
Elivity and Uraraka approached the two, happy for both of them and the skills they had shown for only the first round. After being praised and cheered by the two girls, Elivity took Livitz from Deku and carried her to Recovery Girl's office. "Young Sizuki, you have sprained your right ankle 6 times throughout your life and broken it twice! You need to be more careful!"
Being placed on the Recovery bed, Livitz was swiftly thwacked across the back of her head by Recovery Girl. Rubbing the irritated area, she had an apologetic expression, pleading for mercy to not be scolded too harshly.
Throughout her entire life, Livitz was a serious clutz when it came to doing anything. Not only that, she would act recklessly when messing around and trying to have fun with those around her. It made her feel like she had freedom and control over her life, despite the backlash of her actions.
"Liv, since we're moving onto the next round, we better hurry up and get back out there." Remembering that she had come in 4th place, Livitz was healed by Recovery Girl and sent on her way with some small gummies.
Quickly returning to the stadium, a large screen had shown the placements of everyone moving onto the next round shown. It seemed that all of class 1-A was participating in the second round, so everyone was eagerly awaiting instructions on the next event.
Watching as Midnight flicked her whip to the spinner once again, it spun around a few times before settling on the next rounds category. "For the next round, contestants will participate in a Cavalry Battle."
Briefly explaining how the round will work, everyone was told that each contestant's place carried a certain amount of points. "For the 1st place student, they are worth 10 million!"
The crickets from how silent it got could be heard miles away. Deku turned pale from the fear he felt and how the eyes of his peers were staring through his soul at that moment. Although Deku was her best friend, Livitz had seen in the first round he was willing to prove himself, so she was going too as well.
Not minding what it would take, the blonde was okay going against him to prove her worth in the hero course. Being released to find a group to pair with for the upcoming match, they were given 15 minutes to find a team.
Before having the chance to create her own group, Livitz felt the familiar sensation of a cold, but gentle grasp on her shoulder. Turning her figure to see who it was, Livitz's eyes were met with Todoroki. "Yes, Todoroki?"
His frozen gaze pierced her skull with intimidation. Causing Livitz slight unease, she bit her tongue to calm her senses. "Sizuki, I was wondering if I could have you join my team for an offensive and defensive stance. Your abilities from what I have observed would work best as a horse."
Widening her eyes, Livitz was shocked he wanted her on his team. Thinking about her chances at moving onto the next round, along with the compatibility of their powers, Livitz decided it would be best to team alongside him, rather than against him.
"I'd be honored." Lowering her eyebrows, Livitz looked at him with a determined grin, showing she was willing to work with him. Bringing her to where Yaoyorozu and Iida were congregating, they began discussing a strategy plan.
Todoroki pulled Yaoyorozu off to the side to assist with her quirk for the plan, leaving both Livitz and Iida alone. "Liv! Iida!" Hearing their names, the pair turned their heads to see Uraraka and Deku.
Seeping with dedication in the iris of the two friends, Deku and Uraraka pulled the two to the side to explain their thoughts. "With Iida, we could have as a front horse, his engine quirk would provide the swift ability to move out of an enemy's way. Liv you would be a back horse with Uraraka and would provide a great offense and defense from possible blindsides against people."
Glancing her eyes to Iida, Livitz let a soft sigh out. "Sorry Izu, but I am going to have to refuse this offer. I am already teamed alongside Todoroki with Iida. If I rely on you to prove myself in this upcoming round, I will live in a shadow, which is the opposite of what I want Izu..."
"I stand with Sizuki when stating my reasoning, we both need to prove we deserve to be here on our own. So, we must refuse this position." The two stood opposite of Deku and Uraraka, showing clear seriousness with their stances and words.
Looking to the side, Livitz felt bad, but meant every word. Turning away, they went their separate ways. Reuniting with Todoroki and Yaoyorozu, they handed a pair of roller skates to both of them. "Are you guys ready?"
Grinning once again, Livitz knelt to replace her shoes with the skates. Giving a hand to help her back up, Todoroki got into place and was ready to begin alongside the three classmates.
