I am now heading towards a convenience store that is near the school. I just want to get what I need, I'm already drained from everything that happened.
"... Why the hell are they selling condoms?"
Right next to the shampoo bottles is a shelf filled with condoms, along with some beer too.
"That is a great question."
I turn to my right to see Horikita.
"Huh, it seems that we went to the same store."
"Your presence itself irritates me, my eyes feels violated every time they lay upon any part of your body, I dislike you with every fiber of my being."
I wasn't sure what to say about her hate for me, so I apologized.
"... I'm sorry?"
"Oh ok, it's fine."
Apparently that was enough to satisfy her dislike for me, I am completely baffled.
"Well, back to what I was doing."
Horikita continues to shop for whatever the hell she needs.
"... What is this?"
I notice that in the corner of the store there is a mix of basic necessities, they are the same quality of the other items in the store, the difference being...
"Free?"
There is also a small sign that says "please only take three per month"
"..."
I proceed to take most of the items for myself and try to walk away.
"Ayanokouji-kun, what you are doing is a crime, this is not trick or treat where you can just take more than what was allowed."
My escape was quickly blocked by Horikita who also seemed to have notice the corner filled with free items, along with the process of my getaway.
"I wasn't actually going to steal them.... Ok yeah I was."
I drag myself back to the corner to put back the stolen items.
"Shut up! Be patient with me for a second! I'm trying to find the card thingy!"
A loud voice resonates within the store, the source being the red hair guy who made quite the commotion over introductions during class.
It seems that he is arguing with another customer who had been telling him to hurry up.
"... Though I don't think hitting him with your fists can really count as 'arguing'."
Concerned, I look around to see if there was a camera recording this.
Fortunately, the camera decided to look away.
"... Wait what? How is it even do- actually nevermind."
The red hair guy then knocks out the customer, and then turns back to yell at the clerk. I approach him.
"What's happening here?"
"Huh? Who are you?"
He then gets on all fours and starts jumping everywhere, resembling that of a dog. He is under the impression that I am an enemy.
"My name is Ayanokouji, I'm a classmate of yours, I just wanted to know what was going on."
After deeming me as someone harmless, get stands up like a normal human being and lowers his tone. "Yeah, I still don't know you, but I forgot my card, I forgot that it was basically our wallet now."
His words hurt me a bit, as nobody seemed to have acknowledged my existence besides Horikita, though I'm pretty sure she still doesn't acknowledge me. "Oh, then I could pay for you if you'd like, it would be pretty annoying to walk the 3 hour journey filled with many obstacles just to get your card."
I forgot to mention that it is now nighttime, since the time to get to the store from the school took several hours, this school as I said before, is the size of a damn continent, but somehow easy to navigate through.
"Oh, thanks, that 3 hour journey would've been no problem for me though, one time I accidentally ran through all of Japan because I got lost, names Sudou by the way."
At this, I purchase the noodle cup for him and he goes outside.
"So are you his slave, or is this a desperate attempt at making friends?"
Horikita popped out of nowhere next to me, she seems to do that a lot. "I'm not his slave nor am I trying to be his friend, I simply decided to just help him."
"You don't seem to be afraid of him, despite his stature."
"You mean his vibe, or bad temper?"
"No, I mean his gargantuan height!"
I forgot to mention that Sudou stood at a startling 243 cm.
"Oh, you meant his height? Why would I be afraid?"
"Normally, people would keep their distance from someone like him, not to mention his behavior of acting like a dog."
"Yeah, I have no idea why he decided to get on all fours, but you don't seem to be afraid of him either."
"Only people that are defenseless should be wary of him, if he were to attempt any move on me, I would simply outmaneuver him and then discombobulate him."
She is very confident in beating someone that is almost double her height, but it might just be that she is secretly Batman.
Both of us get the things we need and then leave the store. Sudou is outside waiting.
"So you're just going to eat here?" Sudou was sitting outside and was going to eat the noodles outside the store.
"Well yeah, where else would I eat?"
"Well, that is actually fair, it is a 3 hour walk to the dorms. Eating it here isn't unreasonable."
Horikita understood the reason behind this, but considering Sudou's intelligence (which is quite low) he likely didn't think of this, so Horikita sighs in exasperation. "I'll just leave, staying here any longer will kill my brain cells.
"Huh? What is that supposed to mean?"
"Point proven."
Horikita then leaves on her way to the dorms.
"Hey! Where are you fucking going?"
Sudou then starts barking, which I take as my cue to leave. I head to the dorms.
"Oh god.... I can't.... breathe..."
I am struggling to breathe, that 3 hour journey is no joke, I couldn't walk the way since I have to be there due to our curfew, which is just ridiculous considering the school's size.
I enter the elevator and press the button to my floor. Once I arrive on my floor, I crawl to my dorm room and after 3 attempts, I got my key in and unlocked my door.
I breathe heavily. "Finally.... I'm here now.."
I take of my uniform and fall onto my bed, despite this. I am glad to be in the school.
"... What the hell am I saying!? This was a fucking disaster! This school is so fucking weird!"
