Your first problem was: how do you tell your boyfriend you're pregnant with his child? The second one was: especially when he's out on tour?!
You sighed loudly, staring down at your phone, your finger hovering over the call button. A call, really? That was so... not personal. You needed something better.
Your eyes travelled over to the clock. It was 8pm, you were kind of sure he was with the boys at their hotel, but you would prefer to talk to him alone, and not with them. This wasn't something you could just... hide. He would notice, and probably be mad for not telling him about it. You weren't even sure he wanted to keep it.
Sure, you had talked about it before. What would happened if you got pregnant? In the beginning, both of you agreed that abortion was the best alternative, but now, after many years together, you had notice how both of you had kind of started to change your minds. You wanted a life with Michael - you wanted a kid, or two, and you wanted him as the father and no one else, and you were pretty sure he wanted the same.
But how do you tell him?
You put your hand against your belly, breathing in deeply. You had to do this. He had to know.
Skype was best, you decided.

Babe, you got time for skype? Need to talk to you, it's important
Maybe not the most creative message of all time, but it would probably get his attention. You tapped your fingers against the screen of your phone, waiting for him to reply. Just as you thought it only took about two minutes before your phone vibrated in your hands.

A call won't do it? You wanna talk alone or is it alright if the boys is in here? Has something happened? x
You sighed.
To: mikey x
Sent: 8:06pm
No, I need to see you. Alone would be nice. As soon as possible, but no stress x
You got up your laptop, quickly writing in your password before clicking the skype icon. He was offline, just as you expected.

You swallowed, throat feeling thick. You wanted to keep the baby, you wanted this. You wanted a family with Michael and you wanted him to come home from tour, hugging you tightly and putting one of his hands on your belly and grin up at you happily. You wanted to see him hold your baby for the first time and you wanted the headlines in the newspapers and gossip magazines writing about how Michael Clifford from 5 seconds of summer was now a father.
You wanted all that, so badly.
But did he?
Michael Clifford is online.
You froze, staring at the green little button next to his name, but before you could click on call, he did it first.
Michael Clifford is calling...
You took one deep breath, holding it while click accept. The screen was blank for a few moment, but then you were met by his smiling face and you immediately felt safer. He made you feel like home.
"Hi, babe", Michael grinned at you, "you alright?"
"Hi, Mikey", you smiled back at him, "and uh, yeah. I'm alright. I think."
He nodded a few times, running one hand through his hair, giving you a cheeky look. "What is it?"
"I, uh. I need to tell you something."
"...yes?" If you didn't see wrong, he actually started to look kind of nervous, as his smile slowly faded.
You took a deep breath. You could do this, you had been practicing in front of the mirror. You had to do this.
So you did.
"Michael", you said, "I'm pregnant."
You had never imagined that silence could be so... silent. But it was. Michael stared at you, and you stared back. It was quiet in possible over a minute, before Michael took a breath. A deep one, deep enough for you to hear.
"Are you sure?" he asked, uncertain.
"Yes", you said, "I, uh- I have looked it up, and got it confirmed. I'm pregnant, Mikey."
He nodded slowly, "with my baby?"
"Obviously."
He nodded again. "Holy shit", he said, letting out a short laugh, and you weren't sure if it was a this is stupid or this is great kind of laugh.
"Do you... want me to, uh, abortion?"
He actually looked surprised like that, "what? No!" he exclaimed loudly, before hesitation, "wait, do you?"
You shook your head slowly. "No, I don't. I want this. With you."
Michael was grinning now. "Holy shit", he said again, letting out a laugh, "oh my god. I'm going to be a father!"
"You are", you smiled back, feeling the relief fill your mind, "we're gonna be parents. With three weird ass uncles", you added, referring to the other band members.
"Poor baby", Michael laughed, "I can't believe this, oh my god. Y/n, I want this with you. I want every second of it."
"Me too", you grinned, "shit, when are you home?"
"We have five days off in one week and two days, I'll take the first plane home, I promise."
"I love you", you said, laughing, "so much."
"I'm gonna be a father", he repeated, his eyes glimmering with happiness, his smile so bright you thought it was a dream.
You were gonna be a family.
