(Dabi's POV)
I had finally pinned her against a tree, raising a hand of my blazing blue directly at her face, about to fire when she spoke. "Do it, Toya. Kill me."
I clenched my teeth as her eyes faded from her dazzling purple to their dark brown. Flashes of her wide smile and bright, shimmering magenta eyes filled my head. And then, the ear piercing screams, the pleading cries, and the harsh pants echoed in my ears. With a gasp, I released the grip I had on her neck, allowing her to drop to the ground unconscious.
With a menacing glare, I glanced over to her body before walking over to it and crouching down. I moved a strand of her hair out of her face, softly rubbing my fingers on her cheek. I moved her onto her back, looking at the engravings of where my fingers were splayed across her neck, leaving dark red marks that are sure to bruise.
A sigh escaped my lips as I checked her pulse, and upon feeling a steady rhythm, I stood and looked down at her. "You were right. You can't kill me, and so, it seems the same with me."
Sparing her a glance, I walked away slowly, listening intently for any signs of people as I made my way away from her unconscious figure.
