I hated that we even told Dynasty about the bitch if it was up to me she wouldn't know it has only caused her pain and abandonment issues. But we knew it was best to tell her before someone else did or she was too old.
I got my nerves together before responding
"Dynasty me and Xavier are nothing like your mother you hear me. You got my word you have been my daughter since the day your mom brought you to my door step.Don't think of it as her abandoning you think of it as her opening a door to a life she could never have given you. " I said hugging her

Laylani POV
I sat on Kadeyahs bed deciding that I might as well stay the night
I shot my mom a text letting her know what was going on. Just as I hit send Kadeyah walked in with a huge smile on her face
"Bitch guess what "she said excitedly plopping down on the bed beside me
"Oh lord.... what? " I asked already knowing it was something
"Bae just invited us to his party so get up and get ready "she said in a im not playing tone.
"My closet is your closet so find something cute and let's go " she said plugging up her flat irons in her personal bathroom .
I got up and went to her closet pulling out a white flair crop top, some stone washed Trus, and some white sandals .
I went into the hallway bathroom to take a shower.
After my shower I got out dried myself off and grabbed the curlers and put loose curls all throughout my hair and sprayed myself with her Chanel 5 perfume.
I walked out to see Kadeyah already dressed in her black crop top and some high waisted jeans she finished it off with a pair of black timbs
This girl had Timbs in ever color she always says "I never know when I have to stomp a bitch "
I laughed in my head as I went to her dresser grabbing her white flower head band and some silver jewelry.
"You ready" she said adding her Mac lipstick
"Yeah " I said adding some of her Heroine Mac lipstick to my own lips
We both grabbed a clutch filling it with necessities then headed out the door.
We walked to my car getting in as Kadeyah typed away on my built in gps system.
I blared the radio as we drove to wherever this party was.
About 20 minutes later we were pulling up to this nice little hall with cars everywhere.
I parked and we got out
Walking into the hall it was a bar to the left and kids dancing to the right.
It was a nice little party and it was a whole bunch of people there
"Girl this my song " Kadeyah said to me as Rich Homie Quans new song played
We got on the dance floor and started dancing with her.
After that song went off we went to the bar I ordered some pop while Kadeyah ordered some Henessey .
We sat down sipping our drinks when Deshaun walked in between us.
"Hey Laylani Hey Kay " he said giving me a side hug and Kadeyah a full one
"Y'all enjoying the party " he asked.
"Yea whats it for or you just felt like having a party " Kadeyah asked
"Nah it's my birthday so I just decided I would hit up some people today and throw a party my uncle owns the hall so it really wasn't nothing "he said
She hit his arm
"Why didn't you tell me it was your birthday I would've bought you a gift " Kadeyah said
He laughed holding the arm she had hit
"I really don't like birthdays I never did .That's Why I didn't mention it....until now and plus you coming out tonight was all the gift I need". He said semi flirting
They chatted a little more as I continued drinking my pop when someone tapped my shoulder
I turned around to see this fine boy he didn't go to our school but he came to our games and stuff .I think his name was Daryl....Dontae ....Dion.
Yeah that was it Dion
He laughed
"Did you say something? " I asked
"Yeah I asked if you wanted to dance but your mine was else where " he smiled
I smiled too
"Yeah it was but sure we can dance " I said standing up
He took my hand leading me to the dance floor as some fast song played.
I moved my hips to the beat as he watched .
After he watched a little he turned me so I was standing in front of him.
I moved my hair to one side of my neck and continued dancing.
You know how you can feel someone staring at you?
That's what I felt like someone was burning a whole in the side of my head.
I looked around a little until my eyes landed on Brandon who stared at us with a mug on his face.
I rolled my eyes at him and countinued to dance with Dion.
I don't know why he was looking at me like I slapped his mama but I wasn't bouta pay his ass no mind.
The song went off and I stopped he twirled me around so we were face to face and held my hips.
He looked in my eyes for a while.
"Who taught you how to dance like that "he smiled
"You ain't seen nothing...... yet " I said deciding he was cute enough to flirt with
"Is that right "he said his hands still not letting go of my waist and I'd be lying if I said I wanted him to move em.
I shook my head yes with a smirk on my lips .
"I need you in my life " he said seriously after some moments of silence
We were now seated across from eachother at one of the tables spread about while the music played in the background.
I laughed lightly
"I never heard that pick up line before " I said pulling out my phone to text Kadeyah since I didn't see her
"Maybe because it's not a pick up line I really mean it... and I don't say that to every girl either "he said
I looked up from my phone after seeing Kadeyah had told me to meet her out front
"Uhm take my number so I can see.just how serious you are "I said standing up as he handed me his phone.
I added my number saving it as my name
I placed his phone on the table face down
"Bye Dion "
"Bye Laylani " he said smirking
I smiled I didn't think he knew my name but we do see eachother around a lot
I smiled walking away out to the front where Kadeyah stood still talking to Deshaun .
She seen me coming and hugged him Goodbye
The hug lingered for a while before she came my way and we headed to my car together.
"Let's head to Captain Jay's then we can go back to my house and talk about the party " Kadeyah said
I shook my head in agreement
30 minutes later
We had changed into some pajamas and had grabbed some plates to put our chicken on.
Kadeyahs mom was upstairs so we where going to sit at the island in the kitchen so we wouldn't wake her.
"Deshaun couldn't have enjoyed his party because he was smiling in yo face all night "I joked
"Girllll "she said flipping her hair
"His fans was hurt asf too little that ass bitches kept interrupting our conversation but this one bitch took it to the extreme .I was in mid sentence and this bitch stepped in front of him and started dancing I started to grab her by that synthetic ass ponytail and stomp the Fuck outta her but I remembered he ain't my nigga but she ain't know that so in a way she was disrespecting me so while I was having a mental debate about if I should spare her fucking life or not he pushed her out the way and was like "don't you see me talking " and she tried to argue so he grabbed my hand and led me away from the bitch that how we ended up outside. " she said finishing and taking a bite of her chicken
I laughed
"Y'all cute and you handled that well I would've beat the fuck out of her my nigga or not " I said taking a sip of my pop
"Girl you know I was bout to but I was really enjoying our conversation but uhm enough about me where was you at all night " She asked giving me the side eye
"With Dion " I said
"Dion Smith sexy sexy that's all ways at our games and stuff " I shook my head Yes
"What happened " she asked
I told her how we danced, how Brandon was mugging us, and how I gave him my number.
After we finished talking and eating we went upstairs and went to sleep.
Xavier POV
3 am
I woke up hearing my phone ringing beside me
I ain't had a 3 am phone call since I left the game alone so I know something had to have went down or it was about to.
"Speak " I said
"I need you to come to the trap in 20 minutes " Buddha said in a serious tone.
'On my way " I said hanging up
I went to my closet throwing on a shirt and some nike jogging pants I grabbed the first pair of shoes I saw and walked back into the room grabbing one my guns from inside the dresser tucking it inside my waist band.
I walked over to Keyannas side of the bed kissing her lips.
"I'll be back " I whispered to her and was out the door.
