An ironically common story, the girl gets cheated on, she feels helpless and asks her rival to help her, he refuses until he hears what she has to offer. And what are the odds, he accepts.
"I'll grant you a wish if you help me!" You exclaim, Niki lets out a deep laugh as he tilts his head
"What are we, 5?" He says, you press your lips into a thin line
"I'll grant you one single wish, please, one wish in return for your help to get that backstabbing hoe back" you say sternly. A silence fills the air as you continue staring down the boy, he stays quiet before answering
"Fine, I'll do it" Niki sighs, rubbing his forehead as he let out a small sigh. You let out a deep breath in relief as he slowly makes his way in toward you, he then stops in front of you. You allow yourself to steady your breathing once again before turning your head up at him
"Alright then" you say, putting a finger against his chest as he stood in front of you, he gives a smirk as he bends down to your height. He continues to stay still as he keeps eye contact with you, after a while you notice his eyes averting down to your lips. He then slowly starts coming closer, making you lean back slightly, your back hitting the wall behind you as you were now clutching onto his blazer. He gives a some what adorable smile before standing back up
"If you want a kiss, you can just ask for one nicely" Niki teases, turning around as he walks away
"Yah! Nishimura!"

"Who's your ex again?" Niki questions, following from behind you as you dragged him along by his wrist. You guys were now at school, both of you making your way to the cafeteria
"Yejin, Park Yejin" you reply, Niki furrows his eyebrows as he finally starts walking beside you
"Doesn't ring a bell" He says, intertwining his hands with yours, you continue walking unaware of what he had just did, continuing your way toward the cafeteria. Once you entered the cafeteria you were immediately called out by someone, a relaxed expression falls onto your face as you realized who it was
"Y/N!" A voice calls out, Sunoo was running toward you and Niki, holding onto a tray of food as he stops in front of you, his smile still on his face
"Hi Sun" You smile, Sunoo replies with a nod before averting his eyes down to your hand. You, still unaware of what Niki did, looked down too. Sunoo gasps as he spots your intertwined hands, he looks back up at you and clasps a hand over his mouth
"Are you guys dating?" Sunoo asks, a bigger grin flashing on his face, your eyes widen from seeing the intertwined hands, you attempt to yank your hands out but sadly failed
"Oh we're no-"
"We are! You're so observant Sunoo!" Niki sarcastically exclaims, gripping onto your hand once again, you look at the boy quickly, he looks back at you and smiles
As you're about to say something, you were quickly cut off by a unnecessary comment from beside you
"Hah, I told you Yejin, she was cheating on you" a female voice scoffs, you turn your attention to the side as you spot your ex-boyfriend with the girl he cheated on you with, she was leaning against the boy with her arms crossed, your ex-boyfriend's arm around her shoulder. You roll your eyes as you were suddenly turned back around toward Niki, he had his hands on your shoulders as he bent down to your height
"I told you leaving that cheating dog was a great idea was it not?" He says loudly, loud enough for the surrounding people to hear. You raise an eyebrow in confusion as you tilted your head. Niki looks at you with anticipation from what you would say next. You allow his words to sink in before getting an idea of what he was doing, you clear your throat before answering
"It was the best idea I've ever heard! Who would've thought leaving him for you would be the best decision ever" You exclaim, you were never more thankful for your parents, if they hadn't enrolled you in acting class, you would've considered this plan done. Sunoo was seen from the corner of your eye, he seemed more interested in your love life then the kdramas he'd watch 24/7.
"So you did cheat Y/N" Yejin remarks, you scoff at his comment, you turn around whilst making eye contact with him
"It really isn't considered cheating if I wasn't with you in the first place" you retort, a hand on your hip as you glared him down. Niki was surprised from your comeback, a smirk growing on his face as he looked at you slyly
"You're that humiliated from being cheated on to the point where you'll say we've never dated? Wow, pick me much" Yejin laughs, rolling his eyes as he leaned back, you couldn't help but smirk at his reply, you walk up to him as you stood in front of him sternly
"And you're so embarrassed by the fact that I found someone hotter than you to the point where you'll openly admit that you cheated on me? Wow, slutty much?" You say, tilting your head as you looked at him innocently
"Cmon Yejin, I win, you never had chance in the first place" you shrug, a winners look flashing on your face. Yejin opened his mouth in attempt to find a comeback, he was meet with stutters as his face filled up with embarrassment. He quickly runs away as his new 'girlfriend' followed him from behind. You wave the 2 good bye as you let out a sigh of relief.
As you were about to turn around to face Niki, you were startled by arms wrapping around your waist, you stay still as you felt rather uneasy from the sudden action, uneasy in a good way.
"My oh my Y/N, I didn't know you had such words in your mouth" Niki whispers into your ear, you felt your cheeks heat up as you let out a small cough
"What? I'm just standing up for myself, and stop flirting with me, it's making people think different things" you say, another awkward cough following your statement. Niki brings you closer against his body as he leaned in, making your face turn to yet another shade of pink
"What do you mean? I'm just helping my badass girlfriend get revenge" Niki smirks, you open your mouth agape as you try to find words to reply with
"G..Girlfriend?! Since when was I your girlfriend?!" You scoff, throwing yourself off him as you turned around, facing him in a blushing mess. Niki laughs at your reaction, he begins snorting as he points at you.
"You should see your face oh my god!" He laughs, you roll your eyes at him as you turn back around to leave, as you finally make it away from the surrounding crowd, you were suddenly pulled back into the circle yet again, you hit something rather comfortable as you let out a small yelp
"Nu-uh, no way I'm letting you leave after you just denied the fact that you were my girlfriend" Niki says, his arms around your torso
"But I'm not" you reply, now squirming out of his grip, Niki stays close to you as you attempt to leave his arms, after a while of failed attempts, Niki finally speaks up
"L/N Y/N, if you don't stop right now, I'll give you a kiss" Niki retorts, you immediately stop moving as you breath loudly, the crowd had just started leaving as they found the scene quite cheesy and romantic (single people leaving cause no one wants to see this delulu shit). You roll your eyes as you leaned into his body, tired from the amount of body movement you'd just done
"Now that you're calm, y'think I can use the wish you promised" Niki says, his arms around you still connected together
"Yeah yeah" you sigh, dragging Niki down to the floor as you felt too tired to stand, you sit in between his legs as you wait for his request, the chatters of the cafeteria filling the air.
"Alright then" Niki smiles, he clears his throat before continuing
"For my one and only wish, I'd wish for the girl of my dreams, to be my one and only girlfriend" Niki says, you look at him disgustingly, adding a glare along to your look. You then quickly jab him in the stomach as you finally get out from his grip, standing up so he wouldn't grab you again
"How am I supposed to do that?! I don't know who this dream girl of yours is!" You exclaim, Niki leans back against his arms as he looks up at you with a painful face, one hand rubbing over the part where you'd jabbed him. He stays quiet as he slowly starts to smirk
"Its quite easy, she's standing right in front of me right now" he says, his eyes squinting as you looked at him confused
You start turning red while stuttering out random words as you finally processed what he'd said, you continue to watch the boy just look up at you whilst thinking of things to say to his recent remark, after a bit, you decide that talking wouldn't help. You then run away, knowing damn well if you'd stayed, you would've embarrassed yourself more
"That damn Japanese giant" you mutter, running up to your school's rooftop. As you reached the said area, you sit yourself on the floor under some sort of shade as you begin to think about what had happened earlier. As time passed, your thoughts had started occupying your mind to the point where you had still yet to notice the other body figure now sitting beside you.
Niki looked at you in admiration as he watched you say things to yourself. He then notices a piece of hair covering your face, you didn't seem to care as you just kept blowing the hair away but failing as it fell back in place even after your attempt of blowing it away. He chuckled at your actions before reaching out his hand toward your face, putting the hair strand behind your ear. You jumped slightly from the sudden physical touch, your thoughts coming to an end as you finally noticed the boy beside you.
"N-Niki" you stutter, eyes widened as he continued to look at you with a poker face.
"Y/N" he says, a smile growing on his face. You look at him in disbelief, you couldn't believe this was the same guy you've been hating for the past 3 years. Niki kept looking at your face while you tried to escape the interaction once again, but before you could get up and leave, Niki put his head down on your lap, making your chances of leaving impossible. You were now looking down at him, looking at his facial features as he closed his eyes, you let out a deep sigh of defeat as you gave up on leaving, you start playing with his hair as you knew he wouldn't care.
"Y/N" he whispers, you press your lips into a thin line before answering
"Yes?" you say in a quiet tone, he finally opens up his eyes as he makes eye contact with you, you couldn't help but feel butterflies in your stomach as he looked at you with a soft gaze.
"I wasn't kidding about my wish earlier" he says, you freeze from what you were doing, he continues to keep the eye contact as you looked at him speechless. Niki then smiles as he tilted his head slightly against your lap
"So what do you say Y/N, care to be my one and only girlfriend?" He smiles, making you yet again flush into different shades of red
