Lee Heeseung was seen as your school's biggest player. Because of his looks, people assumed he would go off and on in relationships with multiple girls and boys. And seeing how the rumors flew around the school as fast as lightning, you thought it was true, though, you couldn't deny the fact that he was indeed good looking.
As you're walking to class one day, you spot Heeseung and his friend group in the school garden. You couldn't help but to admire his looks from afar as you unintentionally walked his way. Though, as you're about to approach him, you suddenly snap back into reality and avert your path, turning yourself toward the roses on the other side if the garden
"Oh my gosh, I almost embarrassed myself" you whisper, squatting down as you reached the roses. You then continue to delicately touch the petals, multiple thoughts flying through your head as you make up scenarios of what would have happened if you actually stopped in front of Heeseung. As you continue to stay squatted, your thoughts were stopped as a voice called you out
"Excuse me?" You turn around as you heard the voice from behind you, you accidentally fall as you recognized the person, it being no other than Heeseung.
"Uhm could you stand up for a bit? I need to do something" Heeseung says, extending a hand to attempt and help you off the ground, you slowly accept his hand as you get up, patting your school skirt as he stared at you. As you're about to say something, Heeseung suddenly puts his school blazer around your waist, startling you from his action
"What are you doing?" You question, as Heeseung retreats his hands back after tying his blazer tightly, he smiles awkwardly. You stand still in confusion before realizing why he had done what he did
"oh my god" your cheeks flush into a pink color as you run off, leaving the boy with an awkward stance
"I may never get my blazer back but that's okay, better than actually telling her through my mouth" Heeseung chuckles, making his way to the convenience store after helping you with a little red stain on your skirt.
You were now sitting in the nurse's office, waiting for the nurse as she was looking through cabinets in attempt to find pads for you. You continue to sit in awkwardness before hearing a deep sigh come from the nurse
"Sorry but it turns out we ran out of pads" the nurse sighs, turning her body toward you as she leaned against the counter
"It's okay, its my fault for not preparing for scenarios like this" you laugh, the nurse presses her lips together as she walks over to your side
"Do you have a friend or close classmate you can ask to get some for you? I can replace your skirt but I won't promise that a mere piece of toilet paper will help" the nurse says, you hesitantly think before answering, though, you were quickly cut off as the door was suddenly yanked open. You widen your eyes at the sight of Heeseung panting heavily as he looked at you, a plastic bag resting in his hands
"Heeseung?" You question, raising an eyebrow in confusion
"Oh is this your boyfriend?" The nurse asks, walking over to him
"Ah he isn-"
"Yes, I am, I'm just bringing a couple pads for my um...girlfriend" Heeseung responds, cutting you off from your answer. He lifted his hand with the plastic bag as he extended it toward the nurse, making you furrow your eyebrows in more confusion as you wondered why he lied
"That's great! What a nice boyfriend you have Y/N" the nurse exclaims, taking the plastic bag from him as she took out the package of wrapped necessitates. You avert your eyes to Heeseung, giving him a confused look as he replied with an awkward smile
"Here you go Y/N" the nurse says, handing you a pad and school skirt as she pushed you toward the bathroom installed in the office
"You can wait right there, uhm Y/N's boyfriend" the nurse adds, looking at Heeseung as she pointed at the seat you were sitting on not too long ago. Heeseung nods in response, making his way toward the seat as he sat down, you give him one more glance before entering the bathroom, locking the door before looking at the mirror above the sink
"When did Heeseung become my boyfriend?"
You quickly let go of your thoughts as you changed into the new skirt, once you finish, you walk out of the bathroom, you're surprised to see Heeseung still sitting patiently for you. You let out a nervous cough before making your way to him
"You didn't have to stay and wait" you say, approaching the male slowly. He replies with a shrug, giving a small smile
"I know, I wanted to see how you were before I left though" he says standing up, he then looks down at your hands to see his blazer folded nicely, you follow his gaze remembering what you were gonna say as you patted the clothing
"I was gonna wash this first before giving it to you, I hope that's fine" you say, averting your gaze back onto his eyes
"There's no need for you to do that, I can wash it myself-"
"Allow me, I'm the one who got it dirty in the first place" you protest, cutting off Heeseung. He sighs deeply before giving a nod, making you smile in response
"I'll give it to tomorrow" you add, clapping your hands together.
"Alright" Heeseung sighs, shaking his head as he tilted it. He couldn't help but smile at your reaction.
"Sorry to interrupt, but class started like 15 minutes ago" the nurse says, noticing the weirdly awkward yet comfortable atmosphere
"Right..." Heeseung laughs, walking to the door. He opens the door as he goes to the side, he looks at you and puts a hand out
"After you" he says, you quietly laugh at his action, making your way out the door as you said a small thank you, he follows from behind and closes the door, leaving the nurse all alone yet again
"Ah, young love" the nurse sighs
------the next day
You decide to wake up early in the morning to prepare a couple things to give to Heeseung. You felt bad for just taking his blazer and giving it back so you though it'd be nice to give a little snack as a thank you.
"Who's that for Y/N" your friend, Jihye, asks, wiggling her eyebrows as she smirked. You guys were now walking in the school halls, passing by teachers every now and then
"It's for Heeseung, he lended me his blazer yesterday so I wanted to give him something as a thank you" you reply, you get a confused look from Jihye as she tilts her head
"Heeseung? Like Lee Heeseung? The player?" Jihye questions, you nod in response, earning a 'really' look from the other female
"Why are you going for him? He's just gonna do what he always does" Jihye remarks, flinging an arm over your shoulders
"After seeing him help me yesterday, I actually wondered if those rumors are true" you say, recalling the things people had said about the boy
"Well of course it is! Have you not seen his looks? He totally gives off player vibes, plus, didn't you say something about never falling for him or something?" Jihye exclaims, furrowing her eyebrows at the thought of Heeseung
"I did, but came to realize these things could be made up, is there any proof?" You retort, you knew you were in no place to stand up for the boy as you yourself believed in the rumors, but you couldn't help but stand up for the boy as you knew he was also kind in some way or another
"Yeah, is there any proof?" You widen your eyes from the familiar voice from behind you. You start panicking as you turned your head
"Heeseung I-"
Heeseung was quick to grab his blazer from your arms, walking away as he ignored your calls out for him, a friend had followed him from behind giving you sad and apologetic look as they passed
"The rumors aren't true, he really is a nice guy" Heeseung's friend says as he passed you, walking away to catch up with the him
"Damn it..." you mumble
Heeseung really thought you were one of the rare people who didn't believe the rumors that were spread around about him. Of course, he was wrong
"I really thought she didn't believe them" Heeseung sighs, rubbing his hands together as his friends sat in front of him
"What can you do though? The rumors spread like wildfire once your ex lied about you cheating with someone else 2 years ago" Jay says, recalling the memory
"That girl was so desperate, I swear she can pick up her attitude and go else where" Sunoo remarks, mentally gagging at the thought of Heeseung's ex. Heeseung sighed deeply before leaning back, Jungwon stared at his older friend, pressing his lips into a thin line before speaking
"The girl you helped yesterday....what was her name?" Jungwon asks, Heeseung stays silent for a bit, recalling memories in attempt of trying to remember her name
"I think it was Y/N" Heeseung answers, Sunoo gasps loudly, he scrambles from his seat as he looked at Heeseung
"Y/N? You mean Kim Y/N? My sister??" Sunoo questions, a hand over his mouth. Eyes were widen as everyone eyed Sunoo surprised
"Your sister?!" They all exclaim
"Yes! My sister!" Sunoo replies
"You have a sister?!" Niki screeches. Sunoo gives Niki a poker face as he mentally slapped the younger male, he sighs deeply before explaining
"Yes I have a sister, matter in fact, she's in Heeseung's grade" Sunoo says, putting a finger on his chin
"Wait so Heeseung likes your sister?" Jake interrupts
"Yes? No? Maybe? Wait Heeseung likes my sister?"
"Okay that's enough!"
Heeseung rubbed his forehead as he looked at his friends, they sounded absolutely stupid
"Yes I do like Sunoo's sister, she's the only girl I noticed ever since I broke up with my ex, hence is why I left you guys for like an hour yesterday to help her, I've liked her for a year now!" Heeseung confesses
"You're kidding me" a voice was heard from the outside the classroom door the friend group was located in, surprising the boys as the door was shoved open
"Y/N"
Your cheeks were flushed in a bright pink yet again, you awkwardly cleared your throat as you showed a small bento
"I was just dropping something off for Sunoo" you say, patting the bento box
"Thanks noona" Sunoo smiles, walking over to you. You glanced at Heeseung as he looked back with a panicked expression, Jihye was behind you with a mischievous smile, she was the one who revealed your guy's position, making you jab her on the side as she opened the door.
"We'll be leaving now, bye" you say, dragging Jihye behind you as you walked away
"Well at least you have a reason to talk to her now hyung" Niki snickers, a laugh following his comment. Heeseung gives Niki a glare, making the rest of the friend group laugh at Heeseung for his reaction
"You're so red!" Sunghoon points out
"Shut up Sunghoon!" Heeseung exclaims, playfully hitting the boy
"I never thought my sister was the girl you were talking about all the time to us" Sunoo comments, remembering moments when Heeseung would mention how pretty the girl looked like every day
"I see it now, the resemblance between Sunoo and Y/N" Jungwon says, changing the subject from going any further
"Right? She gets it from me" Sunoo sasses, a smile flashing on his face
"Isn't she older? Wouldn't you have gotten it from her?" Sunghoon says, his voice in a teasing tone
"Let a man dream!" Sunoo retorts, closing his eyes as he leaned back
"Anyways, have a plan on how to approach her hyung?" Jay asks, watching Heeseung furrow his eyebrows
"We'll just see how it plays out" Heeseung answers, sighing deeply yet again as he looked at Sunoo
"You're playing a huge role in this plan tho Sunoo" he points out, pointing a finger at the younger male, Sunoo replies with a smirk, tilting his head as he answered
"Gladly" Sunoo says

"NOONA PLEASEEEEE"
It was currently 5 in the evening, Sunoo mentioned about how he wanted to go to the mall and asked if you could come with him. You denied his request as you shut the door to your bedroom, though, instead of getting the peace and quiet you wished to have on a Saturday night, you got a handful of whines from no other than your younger brother
"I want to stay home Sunoo! Just ask one of your friends, you have plenty" you say, you were clearly annoyed by his unending whines coming from the other side of the bedroom door, but that didn't stop him
"They all have plans! Plus we haven't hung out in forever!" Sunoo protests, banging lightly on your door. You sighed one more time before making your way to your door, opening it harshly as you're met with a smiling Sunoo standing peacefully
"You want something, I know it" you say, eyeing the younger male
"What makes you say that" Sunoo questions innocently, his eyes flickering as he tilted his head. You rub your temples, closing your eyes as you rethink your life decisions
"You never ask to hang out unless you want something Sunoo" you remark, a 'really' look following your reply
"Psh- I do not!" Sunoo retorts, you raise an eye brow at him. Sunoo laughs awkwardly before sighing
"Okay fine, I do need something, but I was gonna ask you tomorrow, I really do want to hang out today!" Sunoo whines. You eye him one more time, looking at both his eyes before sighing
"Fine, but we come home when I say so" you say
"Thank you noona!" Sunoo smiles, you then close the door, putting a barrier in between you and Sunoo once again. Sunoo smiles mischievously, taking out his phone as he goes onto his messaging app

You were now walking in and out of stores as you followed Sunoo around. As much as you wanted to be home, you couldn't leave Sunoo as he looked like he was genuinely having fun.
"Are you done yet Sunoo, we've been here for 2 hours already" you said, looking down at your phone to see it was already 7
"I'm almost done, we just have to go to 1 more store then I promise we'll leave" Sunoo says, dragging you to yet another store on the other side of the mall
"My legs are killing me Sunoo" you grumble, you couldn't help but also complain on how bad your cramps felt too, knowing very well right now was when your cramps would get the worst.
"We're almost there" Sunoo replies, he then turns around and smiles
"if you want you can go sit on that bench over there, I'll run in really quick, get what I want and come back out" Sunoo says pointing at a bench not to far from the store he was gonna enter
"What a great idea Sunoo" You deadpan, Sunoo smiles sheepily before making his way inside the store, allowing you to walk to the bench and sit quietly by yourself. For some reason, there wasn't anyone around the area. You sighed lightly as you looked at your feet, you stayed quiet for a while before getting startled by the sight of an ice cream being out in front of your eyes, you smiled and accepted it
"Thank you Sunoo- oh" your voice faltered as you looked at the person to someone rather unexpected, the person smiles warmly before speaking
"Hi Y/N" Heeseung says
"Heeseung" you whisper
"Mind if I sit down?" Heeseung asks, pointing at the open spot beside you
"You can sit, it's a public place after all" you answer, sliding slightly to the side, Heeseung replies with a nod, sitting down on the open space, tapping his knees as he opened his mouth
"Aren't you curious" Heeseung questions, you tilt you head at him, licking your ice cream as you looked at him confused
"About what?" You say
"About me liking you" Heeseung responds. You stop eating your ice cream as you make eye contact with the male, he was now looking at you rather comforting than you expected. A silence overcomes the atmosphere, making it seem like time had stopped, a few seconds fly by before you smile at him, averting your attention elsewhere as you answered
"I'm curious, but it's not my place to ask you something about me, when you're comfortable I'll listen" you say, continuing on with your ice cream
Heeseung smiled as he admired your face, that answer was all he needed. He turns his eyes away, a laugh following his action. A silence yet again overcomes the 2 of you, making you able to finish your ice cream. As you're about to open your mouth to say something, you were quickly cut off at Heeseung's voice coming first
"Y/N I like you" Heeseung confesses, you choke on your spit as you looked at him, that was the last thing you'd expect for him to say
"W-wha" you stutter, your face flushes into a rosey red as you covered up your face, though, your hands were stopped from reaching your face as you felt it being pulled down
"Why're you hiding your face? Shouldn't I be doing that?" Heeseung laughs, holding onto both of your hands as his smile slowly faded
"The rumors aren't true" He whispers, changing the atmosphere from a happy to a serious one, you tighten your grip around his hand as you attempted to show him reassurance
"I know Heeseung, I know" you say, Heeseung smiled weakly as his eyes start tearing up, you start panicking, watching him unfold his babyish side in front of you
"I really do like you Y/N, please give me a chance, I'll show you the rumors aren't true, please" Heeseung begs, your heart couldn't help but break at his cries, he really was affected by the rumors.
"I know the rumors aren't true Heeseung" you say, pulling him into a hug as he cried onto your shoulder
"You're the first girl I've admired for so long, I thought this would go away but seeing you do the smallest actions makes me want to like you more and more" Heeseung explains, gripping your torso as he hugged you tightly. You decide to stay silent as you know all he needed was physical comfort, you played with his hair as he placed his head on the crook of your neck. Heeseung takes in a deep breath, taking in the scent of your shampoo as he turned his head. You continue to play with his hair, your other hand intertwined with Heeseung's as he kept his head on your neck
"I'll give you a chance to court me Heeseung" you suddenly say, you smiled feeling the male smile in reply against your neck, he lifts his head slightly, kissing your collarbone as he puts his head on your shoulder again
"If it's my chance to show you how much I like you, I'd gladly do so" Heeseung whispers, closing his eyes as he sunk into your comfort. You giggle at his childish actions, resting your head on top of his.
"You're such a baby" you say, giving him a kiss before closing your eyes too
