"Birdie, I don't see why you hang out with Ivan, he's a total creep," I sigh. Gilbert has been at it since the text message from Russia.
I was finally done! "Gilbert! He's my friend! He just doesn't want me to get hurt!" I raised my voice, trying to yell, but just at a normal voice.
Gil frowned, crossed his arms, and pouted.
"Why are you even friends with him?"
"I've been friends with him since my first day at school"
"So he's a dick"
"He's a little rude, yes, mean, yes, scary, of course. But he really has no friends because of his coldness and his creepy sister." I sigh, sipping my coffee.
Even sweet, sugary, syrup endunced coffee could help this.
"I have homework to do, see ya later Birdie," with that he left.
Now my boyfriend hates me, great.
No sooner than Gil's leaving, did my phone go off.
Russia: Im on my way over
Matthew: Why?
Of course I got no reply back.
Soon enough there was a knock on my door. I quickly go to the door and soundlessly open it.
"Matthew," it was my Russian friend.
"Hi, Ivan," I step to the side so he can come in and then I shut the door.
"What brings you here at this time?"
He sits on the couch, "My sister," he says with a thick accent.
"Sunflower, can I ask you something?" (it felt so weird writing that sentence why?!)
"Well, what is it?"
"What do you see in that stupid Gilbert?"
I sigh and run my temples, sitting down.
"Well, he's nice and funny and he can stand up for me when I can't. And he can see me and doesn't think I'm invisible," I look at Ivan.
"You do know what happened with him and his ex right?"
"No, why?"
"Well he was dating this girl and cheated on her with Roderich. So, they broke up and then it happened all over again."
"You're lying," I look at him, angrily. "Are you saying Gil is cheating on me?!" I actually yell for once.
Ivan looks calm and comfortable. He snickers, "Well, its clear he's in love, but not with you."
He was lying.
Right?
He had to be!
"Get out."
"What?" he looked shocked.
"I said, get out."
"Fine," and with that he left.
Left me with my thoughts.
Soon I found myself upstairs. I was crying. I don't know when the tears started.
I grab my box, thinking to myself as I open it.
I didn't grab the journal this time.
The rumors of Gilbert loving his damned blonde friend...they must be true.
He has to be cheating.
I really thought he cared.
I guess he doesn't.
I grab the paper. Not, the journal. I grab my pen, my hand shaking:
"Dear Alfred,
I'm sorry you had to find me like this. I didn't want you to. I didn't want to leave you.
I'm glad I got to help raise you. Im glad you're my brother. But you have Arthur and I had--not anymore-- Gilbert.
You're the only one to ever care and I'm sorry for this.
I love you and live on, because I will always be here with you.
Even after I'm gone.
You're older brother Loves you,
Matthew Williams"
I pick up the razor and pull up my jacket.
((TRIGGER WARNING AND SADNESS HERE!!))
I slice in every which direction, blood starts dripping into my jeans and my bed, but I don't stop.
I keep on crying and cutting.
I feel weak.
I feel tired.
I drop the blade, falling on my back the letter in one hand, the other holding my hurt arm.
I cry more.
And then it all goes black.
