"Hey I have a question" said our protagonist
"Yes what is it Subaru-san" said our Host
"Ok first off just call me Subaru and secondly you said my devil fruit turned me into a rubber man right so is that it" said Subaru full of curiosity
"Hmm I can't say or clarify if that is true but what do you think you can do with that information if it is true"
"Well if it is I'm gonna be very strong than"
"What do you mean Subaru?" asked the half elf very confused by this conversation
"Well Emilia-tan I was thinking why rubber then it hit me every devil fruit has potential to be strong it depends on the user on how he or she uses it but we will see if I am right or not" said our protagonist who was proud of his explanation
"I see" said Emilia
"Of course Betty's Subaru is always thinking of the solution to problems so of course he figured out how his past self will use his devil fruit, I suppose"
"Oh Beako thank you"
"Of course Betty will always be there to back her contractor up, I suppose"said Beatrice
After seeing everything he went through for these people who didn't even deserve him she promised on her life to save him from his suffering even if she has to face the threats by herself. She is going to help her contractor even if it's the last thing she will ever do.
"Ok guys let's continue on this journey"
So the screen started to play and we turn our attention to a kid Subaru walking to a cart
"Oh Subaru good to see you again how have been boy getting that power under control" aak the man selling food
"Yup see I can do this already" said Subaru stretching his cheeks
(Ahhh I want to pinch those cheeks of his) said the female population in the theater yes even Ram and Priscilla, I know shocker
"Ok take care then"
"Ok bye"
Subaru was talking down the road whistling a certain tune(one pice fans you know what songs he is singing)
He made his way to the bar where Makina works.
"Hey Makina-neesan"
"Good morning Subaru you're here early"
"Yeah I just came to show you what just discovered on how to use my power" said the boy with excitement in his voice
"Okay okay just give me a few...."
But before she could finish her sentence a fimiliar group walk in
"Hey you got some booze now"
"What do they want" said Felt
"To cause trouble that's what" said Subaru a little annoyed on why this sorry excuse of a human being is on the screen
"Well Capt'n gonna knock them down and begging for mercy won't you capt'n" said Garf looking for his answer with excitement
But he was met with silence with everyone still watching the screen
(Please be safe Subaru/kun) said the people you all know
"So those pirates are gone huh. Good this place was much better without those losers right boys. Haahahah"
"Yea boss those guys were really stupid they should know their place"
Before anyone could talk they heard something which shocked them
Subaru /Subaru :"Don't talk about Shanks like that. You know nothing about them. Talk like that and I'll kill you"
They were shocked and impressed by how both Subaru's stood up for Shanks bit that did not last long
"Huh what did you say kid" said the bandit leader
Subaru continued to talk bad about them and the bandits took him outside to kill him
Makima tried to help bit was slapped by the leader.
"Hey no hitting a lady you bastard! " said Julius
"Julius since when do you talk like that" ask Ricardo ardo
"I don't know it just felt right"
"Hmm weird"
"Hey don't call me weord Ricardo"
"I say it the way I see it man"
Subaru was held by the bandits but a voice called out to him
"Oi Subaru what are you doing didn't you say your punch is as strong as a pistol" said the voice of a savior
"Shanks he's come to save the day" said Petra happily
"He come to be a badass" said Garf
"Shanks" said Subaru with tears in his eyes
"Oi oi pirate Last time I checked their no mess to clean up so be a good boy and leave before you get hurt" said the bandit leader (I know he has a name but he ia just a bandit leader and the only bandits I will call by their names in this story are the true ones we know and love)
"Look here buddy you can disrespect me or through food or booze on me all you want and I'll laugh it off but threaten my friends and I'll kill you" said Shanks with a look that can bring fear to those that hurt his nakamas
"Badass!!!!" said Al, Garf and Ricardo in awe of Shanks being a badass
A bandit put a pistol in front of Shanks
"Do you put your life on it" He asked
"What the" said the bandit
But before he could Lucky roo shot him while chowing down on some meat(this scene was pure badass for me hopefully we see more this crew later on in the story)
"You killed him"
"Where's your honor"
"Honor?" Asked Shanks
"What Honor we're not good people we're pirates"
The bandits started attacking but Ben Beckmen used the back of gun to beat them into a pulp
But the learder was gone
"Ahhh he left!!!" screamed Shanks
That was not what worried our cast what worried them was that...
"Subaru-kun is gone!!"
Cut back to the leader on a boat with Subaru
"Damn that pirate! I'll show him what for"
"Hey let me go!"
"Yea I'll let you go in the ocean that is" said the bandit leader who started to laugh like a madman
"Kill, I'll kill you! " screamed Reinhardt of all people shocking everyone
But they all felt the same way and thought one of thing(When I get my hands on him he's dead)
But before he could throw Subaru in the sea a giant monster came out and ate him whole causing Suburb to be thrown in to the sea.
With the beast having it's snack it turned to the boy ready to eat him whole.
(Is this it, is this where I die and start my current life no it can't be I dont wanna die! Wait when did I want to stop wanting to die. Satella I guess you and the other witches had an effect on me after all) thought our protagonist
No Subaru /kun!!!!!
Look out capt'n!!!!!
Try to swim even if you can't!!!! Natsuki-san!!!
Please someone save him!!!!
As if thier prays were answered a hero came. Shanks with Subaru in his arms?
"Shanks?" said Subaru in disbelief
"Get lost"
With that the Seaking left with fear in it's eyes
Badass!!!!
He's so cool!!!
"Hey Subaru I heard what you did for us by fighting those bandits"
But Subaru started to tear up even more
"Hey hey what did I tell you men don't cry so come one now"
"But Shanks your arm!!!!"
A shot of Shanks is shown holding Subaru with only one of his arms and the other gone and eaten by the seaking.
"A small price to pay for you safety"
Said Shanks with a warm small
"He gave up his arm for me" said Subaru in disbelief of how one man would give his arm to keep him safe
The rest of our cast were the same but the red haired pirate earned their respect through his deed.
Some time later we see Shanks and his crew getting ready to leave
"So your not gonna beg me to take you with us?" ask Shanks
"No I won't" said Subaru
What Capt'n why didn't you want to go with them to be a pirate!!
Garf-san calm down Natsuki-san might have a reason for not going
(I think I know what my reason is gonna be) though our protagonist
"Good cause I wouldn't want a kid on my crew"
"Shut up Shanks. I be better than you anyway. I'll become a pirate and make my own crew to become the strongest and greatest pirate in the world 'The King of the Pirates'!" yelled Subaru at the top of his lungs
"Really now well in that case" Shanks said as he took his hat from his head and place ot on Subaru's head
"When you become a great pirate you can give the hat back so you're only borrowing it ok"
With those words Subaru started to tear up with Shanks leaving with his crew on their ship
"It's a promise Shanks I become a great pirate!" yelled Subaru that the top of his lungs
Sniff sniff that was beautiful
Aldebran stop crying this instance
Sorry princess but it was so beautiful
that scene it moved me to tears
Ten years later
"Ok I'll be going now" said a 17 year old Subaru (just imagine him in luffy's pre time skip. The one he started his journey with.)
"Hey Subaru good luck"
"Make sure to bring a cute girl when you visit"
That comment made the ladies blush
"yea yea well bye now"
But when he was about to sail the seaking returned
Oh come!
I really hate that Seaking!
"Oh you are back huh after 10 years. I still owe you something you damn beast" said Subaru pulling his arm back
"What is he doing?" ask Anastacia
"Look like Basuru is trying to punch it" said the Ram dumbfounded
"Subaru get away it'll eat you" said Petra with a voice of worry
"No you are all about to see why Betty's contractor is the best and smartest" said Beatrice
Then Subaru arm started to stretch
"Gum Gum no jeto pistol!"
What!!!!!
"Hey yes my theory works the user is the key to using the fruits potential. I just turned a weak fruit into an epic one go me!!!" said Subaru with stars in hia eyes
"Impossible how can you do that" said Priscilla completely in shock that this boy could do something like that
Yosh that takes care of that now to start my adventure. I need a crew at least ten should work. I GOING TO BE THE KING OF THE PIRATES!!!
