a week prior to the 27th
I walked downstairs, gliding through the dark hallways, it was currently 2 am so everyone was asleep, Rafeal had came over since his mom dropped him off for the night, he would be leaving in the morning and coming back next week.
I did a lil dance, humming along to Spread Thin by Mariah the Scientist. I opened the fridge and scanned around. I got a text message from Huey, we had finally talked and brought out the communication that was needed.

I closed the message thread, swiping off it and I pulled a cold water bottle out the fridge and a container of Candied Fruit my mom had made the previous day. I twisted the cap off and drunk some.
For some reason I had got a creepy feeling, that kind of feeling you get when watching horror movies at night, the feeling when something was going to go very wrong .
That wave you get that creeps down your spine when your gut curls and twist indicating something is gonna happen that will be bad
It was currently night, and dark in my house. my parents are asleep. So nothing bad was gonna happen, I'm just being paranoid
I decided to brush off the feeling and sit on the counter and began eating my candied fruit while watching CoryxKenshin.
I smiled down at my phone, humming softly. Kicking my legs back and forth, I heard shuffling upstairs indicating something is moving. I looked over at the staircase and saw my mom
"oh what are you doing up Jas?" She asked walking over to the fridge getting a bottle of water as well. She turned to me and leaned against the wall.
"I couldn't sleep I was hungry, I'm about to go to sleep." I told her and she nodded kissing my forehead . "Good night princess" she hummed before making her way back up the stairs.
I heard her room door close and I continued watching YouTube eating my fruit.
About 10 minutes later ;❦ຳॱ
I began drinking the rest of my water, when I heard shuffling. I lifted my head "mom your up ag-" I cut myself seeing Rafeal thinking it was my mom who had came back downstairs
I frowned a bit, he hummed and rubbed his eyes coming over to me and head nodded. I waved back and threw away the container that once held my fruits and grabbed my bottle and phone. About to hop off the counter, my movements coming to a halt when I heard him speak
"I take it that you don't really like me, did I do something" he asked tilting my head . I felt my breath hitch, I felt bad because he didn't seem that bad, his voice was actually very soft
I shook my head, making my way to the living room. I sat on the couch and he watched me, I pat the space next to me indicating for him to sit with me. He did as told and I smiled a bit
"I don't hate you, I just don't know you. You kind of scare me." I told him honestly, he grinned, and held his hand to his chest in a fake hurted way. "I scare you? That hurt my feelings I'm so nice. Is it the tattoos?" He asked, I shrugged not really knowing the answer to the question.
He smiled and placed his hand on my knee, and he laughed. "You don't have to be scared, I'm pretty cool. Also Atlas wants to know what he did, cause you have been ignoring him." He questioned
I watched his hand on my knee, and shifted my gaze back up to his face. The moon light from the window peaked through the curtains. And I sighed.
"No reason, I just felt like he was too straightforward, like he didn't wanna just be friends." I mumbled honestly, because I didn't take interest in Atlas
I had a bunch of feelings for Huey and I don't think they can ever go away, so I didn't wanna be friends with someone who can prevent things that I want to happen from happening.
Rafeal nodded and turned his head back to me. "Wait so Your dating someone? I didn't know that. Who is it?" He asked
I beamed with excitement, I liked telling people about my crush on Huey and my feelings for him.
"can I trust you?" I wondered and he nodded biting his lip, I could've sworn his gaze shifted from my eyes to my lips, I decided to brush it off
"Well, if you must know it's Huey Freeman." I told him while blushing. He nodded looking away, immediately his head snapped back towards me
"Wait Huey freeman? The twin brother of Riley? They in that gang Yo or Oy.?" He asked, i nodded confirming it
"Hold on, they go to our school?" He asked, I nodded again. He hummed. "Okay why do you like him? Of all people"
I gasped dramatically. "Hey I take offense to that, what's wrong with Huey?" I said and he huffed. "I mean, there is other people out there so why him?"
I thought about it for a second and looked back to him. "Well, he has a soft side when it's me, he isn't too friendly with other people. He is so handsome and he lets me do stuff to him that others haven't, I've seen a different side that he puts out to the world" I told him honestly not feeling the need to lie
"What kind of stuff?" He tilted his head smiling. "Is that all you got from that?" I asked feeling more confusion, feeling that same gut twisting feeling I got earlier
He laughed and nodded his head, I sighed "well we've done stuff" . I felt his hand creep up my knee to the beginning of my thigh
"I'm getting kind of tired, I should head to bed for school." I let him know. He frowned a bit
"Aw, can't you stay a bit longer, we just became friends. I was getting happy." He mumbled in a soft tone, I felt bad again and sighed
"Okay..I'll stay for 5 more minutes!" I said putting up the number 5 with my hands. He shook his head, smiling

JASMINE, sat in the back of the classroom, she had a all black outfit on, her all black Nike tech and black hellcat 4s, she wore no makeup, and her hoodie draped over her head hiding her curls that was slicked in a back ponytail .
Anybody could see that something was wrong with the girl, she usually carried a happy aura, and a positive demeanor . She had both her AirPods one both ears which she rarely did
She was listening to Summertime sadness by Lana del ray. It didn't help that she was staring off into space, she had 2 bandages wrapped both her hands, because all week she was digging her acrylic nails into her palms
Her knee bounced, anyone who paid attention to the girl knew she always kicked her feet back and forth like a little kid. But today she didn't do that.
This is her first time back in school since last week, her mother was concerned because all week she kept saying she didn't feel well to go to school
It wasn't like jasmine, because she never missed a day, she also encouraged her friends to go everyday. The people that were often mean to her also felt bad because she had such a different aura wit her today.
Her teachers kept prying her asking her what was the problem, but she kept saying everything was okay.
Huey and Raiden both walked into the class laughing and making noises. Raiden tripped laughing at a joke he was making. Huey helped him up, also laughing. Walking to the back where their seats were, where Jasmine was seated.
Now because the class was boring and the students were nosy they watched the boys walk to their seats and paid attention to Jasmine. Because of the way she was acting, they wanted to see what the boys would do about it.
"Jas listen to this-" he said telling her the hilarious joke, but for her. He was speaking and none of his words stuck into her brain, the went out one ear. She kept her calm face while Raiden and Huey were laughing, they stopped laughing seeing she wasn't laughing
"Whats wrong Jasmine?" Raiden asked, seeing her saddened expression. They both finally peeped how she looked, her leg bouncing and her aura change
They knew something was wrong immediately because they observed her well enough, she shook her head. "Everything's okay." She mumbled. Huey frowned placing his hand on her knee to stop her leg from bouncing
She gasped causing him to move his hand, both Raiden and Hueys eyes widened look at her. She raised her hand for the teacher to notice her.
"Yes Ms. Dubios?" Ms. Rachenobal asked. "Can I go to the bathroom?" Jasmine mumbled, the teacher nodded and jasmine collected all her things and quickly made her way out the classroom.
The tears that were building up in her eyes finally fell and she began crying walking to the bathroom, she ran passed Rafeal and Atlas, exiting the hallway before they could say anything, she continued making her way to the bathroom, moving fast and unfortunately bumped into Riley.
"Oh hey Jasmine, what's up." He said while smiling, she moved out the way and opened door slamming it behind her, locking her self into the stall
"I couldn't help myself on my own, if my life depended on it..." she mumbled silent crying, her began pounding with a head ache, she choked on her tears, her heart was racing and everything was spinning she was having a panic attack
Her heart was beating so fast that you could hear it, it was pounding against her chest harder the more she cried . So hard that it began to hurt
Everything in the stall was turning black, her suffocating came to a stop, she fell into a cardiac arrest. Passing out.
A girl from a different grade had found jasmine. And called the main offices attention, for them to call 911 fast.

HUEY, was terrified. so we're their friends. Nobody knew what happened to her, she looked so different and it scared them
Jasmine's mom had called the Freeman's family and told them that she had almost died from a heart attack when the cardiac Arrest hit her. She had fell into a deep seizure, and is attached to life support
Nobody understood why her heart gave out, and it was scaring everyone that knew her. INCLUDING RAFEAL. Only him and her knew what took place that triggered something in her
And when I tell you that the girls who bullied her including atlas were dying, because the edits on TikTok are going crazy. They were making sad edits with sad music for Jasmine.

Huey was still in shock, he had so much feelings for jasmine, and to lose her is eating at him. It made him realize he didn't have a lot of time to tell her, he loved her more than she did
So he rested at her hospital bed to let her know that he loved her, because if not now, he won't ever get the chance to tell her again.
He knew that she could still hear him, he didn't want her to fade away before they could be happy again, he wanted to know what happened to her over the course of a week. She was just beaming with excitement at his doorstep
So what changed?
What really happened at her house that night..?
Both Raiden and Riley, kept harassing Atlas for answers but he truly had no idea what happened?
They were asking the wrong person, they should've questioned Rafeal. Now he stood in the corner watching his bestfriend get beat up and not him
He truly didn't feel bad and he didn't care, he wanted so badly to do it again because of the feelings it brought him, the joy that filled his intrusive thoughts. It made him smile
Her fighting brought him joy, and he wanted to rub it in Huey's face, he got to be friends with the girl that Huey wanted.
He thought they were still bestfriends.
