Without you I'd be a mess
Like paint that was knocked over and now spilled all over the floor
I'd overflow like water that ran a little too long
You help me balance on my two feet
When I can't do that for myself
You help me when I'm low
And not in the best mood
You make me whole
Without you I'd be half the person I am
You make me a better version of myself
And see the bright sides of life
Like the days where the sun shines bright
Or the nights where the temperature is just right
I do things wrong and hurt you
But even through all of that
You still stayed
Which is more than most people I've ran into
I can't function without you
I hope you never leave
Because I never plan to
