y/n stood next to maka and her group of friends as they all witnessed soul and black star's slow motion reunion thing.. even though they see each other everyday, it was unnecessarily dramatic but funny.
"you'll get used to it..." maka whispered as y/n slowly nodded her head confused.
she was invited by maka to come hangout at the arcade with some friends. she gladly accepted seeing as she had nothing else to do.
"you two done?" kid called out to the weird duo in front of them.
soul looked stunned since no one informed him his crush would be coming along.. and he also just embarrassed himself for the 5th time.
"i invited y/n, hope that's okay soul." maka gave him a sly smirk.
"it's whatever, i don't mind." he said putting up a persona.
the group all shared a conversation as they got to the arcade, they played some games. some of them split up. somehow, just somehow y/n and soul ended up playing some games together.
"oh shit. that charmander plush looks cool." y/n said as a claw machine with pokémon things caught her eye.
she gave it a go but ultimately failed, two times. soul watched in amusement and then decided to give it a try, and to his surprise he was able to do it.
"look at MY awesome charmander." he bragged as he moved the plush around her head as he showed it off. she rolled her eyes at him.
"show off.." she muttered, he heard what she said and laughed.
"let's go find the others." she suggested already walking away. but before she could go any futher, a hand came into contact with hers.
"i was kidding.. here." he said handing her the plush, she looked at him with widen eyes and a mouth agape.
"but you-" she began but he cut her off, "nah, i'm too old for that." he said.
"oh. HEY! ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY-" soul laughed at her late reaction, and walked a head.
"bastard.." that was sweet of him.. she thought before catching up to him and thanking him.
