-Niragi pov-
I looked around the room I was in, you know, the one I sorta just fucked up in? Yeah.... I just stuck a pocket knife into a dude's side, I don't even know if he was a player or not, but, since I haven't died yet, I'm taking that as he isn't one. The dude fell over and knocked a whole bunch of shit down, it made a shit ton of noise.
The room itself was already pretty messy. It had office cubicles with bullets and burn holes in them, stacks of paper spread out on the floor, three shattered ceiling lamps laid on the floor, a knocked over lamp and blood that's probably from previous games or the guy I just stabbed for no reason. There was also obvious weapons hidden in the room itself, as well as..... burnt down house plants?
Oh yeah the guy, I forgot about him for a second. I look over to where he was bleeding out and smirked a bit, god he looked pathetic. He looked like a middle aged dad or just some dude who let himself go for years. The guy was wearing a pink polo shirt, khaki pants, black shoes and had a broken light bulb in his hand.
"Please...." he gasped out, clutching the spot I stabbed him in. "Please, s...sir! It, it hurts...! Can you j...just finish the job o...or give me something to-" he made a 'kh' sound as the blood kept staining his pink polo shirt. He was obviously a tourist from America as well, sorta dug his own grave here. "or give me something to...to stop the blood!" I rolled my eyes and crouched down to be at eye level with him.
Slowly pressing the knife against his throat, he clenched his eyes as his breathing hitched in pace. A spot of blood appearing on his neck as I pressed the knife a bit further.
"Pfft, you really think I'll show someone like you mercy?! Bhahahaha!! Oh, you've got to be joking!" I took my pocket knife away and his eyes shot open in a pleading way. "W...What?" "You heard me old man! Now if you'll excuse me," I stood up and put the bottom of my shoe on his stretched out leg. "I've got a card game to clear and a specific faint blonde to harass!~" I stepped down on his leg and heard the sickening CRACK come from it and smiled.
It feels good being the bad guy for others, but hey, I'm just putting myself first. I thought to myself as I walked away from the now crying man with a devilish grin and a bloody pocket knife that screams, "This is the evidence!"
"Ready or not, here he comes!"
Shit. I forgot that it's hide and seek.
I quickly made my way to another staircase and climbed it, getting to the fourth floor with that one staircase path. There were about five different office rooms I could see, so obviously I went into the broom closet.
Footsteps could be heard in the distance, it's not Chishiya's footsteps because these sound too loud. ... Wait, why do I care if I hear Chishiya's footsteps or not-? WAIT HOW DO I KNOW WHAT HIS FOOTSTEPS SOUND LIKE?- I snap out of my thoughts as I heard the footsteps getting closer
There's a small crack in the closet door that lets me see outside of it. Looking down I see that I had brought a very slight trail of blood with me to my hiding spot. Shit.
-Sirumi's/the 'its's' pov-
"Ready or not, here he comes!" the screen said. I sighed, this is either going to be a shitty game that i'll obviously lose at or it'll be an interesting one... that I'll probably still lose at.
I walked in the direction I saw the blond go to, there were two staircases. One to the left, probably where the blond went, and one to the far right. I'm assuming they split up because if they hide in the same place and I find one of 'em that'll be game over for them both. What were their names again? Fuck... I may just lose this by name basis.
I made my way back to the big screen and looked at their names. 'Chishiya' is the blond cat-like one, 'Niragi' is the stubborn kid with piercings. "179:48" Two hours and something minutes left.
Going back to the staircases, I decided to go after the Niragi guy. He seemed like the type to easily fuck up, the blond one seemed more put together in a weird way. I went up the far right staircase and continued in that way, neither of them would think of hiding in the first floor so second and above.
There was a foul stench coming from one of the offices, three doors were open. I went into the first one, checking behind cubicles and behind things like broken down and stacked boxes.
Nobody in the first office.
Second office was the same, however, the stench was becoming intoxicating. It had to be in the third room. Getting out of the office I was currently in and going to the next one, I heard subtle cries in the corner.
I looked around and soon enough found a middle aged man with a broken leg and blood coming out from beneath his shirt. "You're not a player but holy shit are you fucked." I said quietly, as if to keep secret that I was on this floor.
Seems I wasn't the first to find him here because his leg looked like the bone in it was freshly cracked and stomped on. I shake my head as I leave the room, the man begging me to end his life. I don't wanna take the chance so I just left, closing the door behind me so he could at least get privacy when dying from either blood loss or the leg.
Looking at the floor, I see faint imprints and drying blood marks going in a certain direction. It wouldn't hurt to check and see where it led. Maybe one of the two guys would be at the end of the 'bloody rainbow'. Hah...ha... never mind.
After a moment, I found a few office doors open. I checked most of 'em, they had the same thing in each room. Cubicles, office decorations and supplies, burnt things, blood, even found a severed arm in one of 'em.
The weird thing though, is that the trail didn't lead anywhere after this staircase. There was a room with a lock on it and I doubt that either of the players would go in there, besides, it was a closet.
THUD
Holy shit I might be wrong- I quickly went over to the closet, trying to take off the padlock. I know one of them is here, and that'll mean only one of 'em is sure to fail this game.
"Come out, come out you little rat...! I don't wanna go out by myself now" I said with a weird voice. I could hear things falling inside the closet, maybe It was an actual rat? I kept trying to take off the padlock regardless. "Come on out rat, I've found you already! I just need to know which one you are!" I'm getting agitated. The padlock had rusty metal that was peeling off and I had cut myself with it.
-Niragi (again)-
I was going farther into the closet, at least it was a broom/storage closet. This one was an actual room with exits if you knew where to look, the padlock was also a good idea because he can't get in as fast. "two hours left!" the annoying cheerful voice from the phones said. Shit, now he actually knows i'm in here!-
I feel around for the emergency exit sign in the back, knocking over a bucket and a few things off the storage shelf. Feeling over the whole back wall, I feel a doorknob.
Found you. (x2)
Quickly opening the door to the broom closet, leaving. This time making sure he couldn't hear the sound of the door closing and I checked my shoes for a moment to see if that's where the blood is from.
Okay, no time for waiting around for the old man to catch me. God this is such a drag, I coulda finished this game in the first ten minutes if the game would allow us to have weapons and fight against the 'it'!
I quietly but quickly ran to another staircase, this time going down and to the right. All the doors were closed, so, again, I chose to go into one of the closets. (pattern much?)
Closing the door, I bump into someone who's a little bit shorter than me.
Fucking Chishiya- "God, pay attention to your surroundings more. I'm right here Niragi." He said quietly, not even in a pissed off way. He was too damn calm again.
"Yeah yeah, nice to see you too Niragi. So, you're not gonna bring the 'it' directly to us, are you?" "Hell no dumba-" "Don't yell, he'll hear you" Bitch cut me off mid sentence.
There was a crack in this door too. I looked out of it and saw nothing of interest at the moment. "Have you just been hiding here the whole time?" I ask, clearly not wanting or caring for an answer. "No, I was actually hiding up your mom's ass waiting for the 'it' to find me." Sarcastic bitch.
I look over at him and he had that usual smug half smirk plastered on his face. I sorta just want to kis- i mean, Punch his stupid face.
"Aw, admiring the view Niragi? Great well, must I remind you that now is not the time to get feelings for me?" I swear, he gets creepier by the second. "Of course not you fucker, just wipe that stupid smirk off your face" I say in response to his entirely stupid and smug remark.
He pulled out the game phone and showed me the time left. "An hour and a half. Time flies fast when you're having 'fun' huh?" all these sarcastic and smug remarks are getting to me. I grab his wrist, the one with the phone, and take the device away from him. Stop with the damn comments, you wanna-be Chesire Cat." He rolled his eyes and took the phone back.
...
How would he look pinned to the wa- NO-
I looked away before Chishiya looked at me from putting the phone in his pocket again. What the hell was I thinking about? He's just a smug cat-like dude who pisses me off, I will never want to pin him to the wall without murderous intent or pure hatred/annoyance.

Okay maybe not never- I looked over at him again, he looked bored. We'll be in here for a while.... Maybe it won't hurt to think about this cat. Not entirely like that though... 'entirely'.
