Maybe someday, I'll be able to appreciate,
the wind tickling the green leaves,
and the sun shining down upon them.
The raindrops descending down through the air,
as they embrace the land.
The mountains trying their best to hold their heads high,
the birds leaving their nests in search of food,
as their young ones agonise over cries.
The river effortlessly performing
its mesmerising tango with rocks overthrown,
hopelessly trying to reach the ocean.
People starting their journey,
far away from homes, trying
to patch up their tapestry of lives,
earlier disregarded, now broken.
Someday, I'll too, be a part of them,
having faith in both Hope and Belief,
in making my world a little better for my tired soul to rest.
But right now, I'll keep on merely taking deep breaths.
Looking forward to drink the potion
that Life's been brewing for me since heaven knows when,
and praying for it to work like a witch's magic spell.
