Sky's POV
Tomorrow na ang pageant namin for the Hamilton's Foundation day. Kahapon pa kami walang practice. Alam ko naman ang gagawin ko, but knowing Miss Klea, she wants to win. Pero simula nung Monday, nung umamin ako sa kaniya, I haven't heard a word from her. Hindi rin siya pumasok sa first period namin kanina.
"Sky!" sigaw ni Viya kaya nagulat ako.
"H-ha?" tanong ko sa kaniya.
"Ano? Sa rami nang sinabi ko, wala kang narinig?" inis na tanong ni Viya.
"Hehe, sorry, lutang ako. Ano ba 'yun?" sabi ko na lang.
"Ang tanong ko is kung naopen mo na ba 'yung account mo?" She asked.
"Ah, oo. I've opened it na nung Monday pagkauwi ko" sabi ko na lang sa kaniya.
"So? What did you see?" She asked, i heard a hint of worriedness on her.
"I saw a bunch of pictures of me and... Miss Klea" sabi ko na lang at napaiwas ng tingin.
"Ahh, alam mo ba kung bakit?" tanong niya kaya napalingon ako.
"No. Why?" curious na tanong ko.
"H-hindi ko alam. Nagtatanong ako 'di ba?" tanong niya at tumawa.
"Tangina mo" inis na sabi ko at tumahimik na lang.
"Sky, did something happen? Ang tahimik mo. Akala mo ba hindi ko napapansin, yesterday and earlier, pumasok kang namumugto ang mata mo" nag-aalalang tanong niya habang nakatingin na sa mga mata ko.
"H-huh? Wala. Guni guni mo lang 'yun" sabi ko at umiwas ng tingin.
"Sky, I've known you for so long. You're really not a good liar" she said. Bumuntong hininga ako.
"I like Miss Klea" panimula ko. I saw how she blinks multiple times.
"And, nung Monday, nung pauwi na kami, nag confess ako sa kaniya" i said, and nagsisimula na naman akong makaramdam ng sakit.
"You what!?" she said.
"Pero, bago ako magconfess, I found out, she's my cousin's girlfriend" pahina nang pahina na sabi ko.
"A-are you o-okay? Sky?" She said at nilapitan ako.
"Yeah, i'm fine. Just that, it hurts like hell. And the worst is, i don't even know where is this coming from" i said, hindi ko namalayan na umiiyak na naman ako.
"Okay lang 'yan, tara na iuuwi na kita" sabi ni Viya ay hinimas ang likod ko.
"Nah, it's almost dismissal" sabi ko.
Half day lang kami ngayon kaya maaga ang dismissal. Busy ang mga teachers for tomorrow's event. Nagsimula na rin kaming maglipit ng mga gamit namin nang may lumapit sa akin.
"Sky, pinapatawag ka ni Miss Gray" sabi ni Mark na classmate namin.
"B-bakit daw?" tanong ko.
"Ewan" sabi niya kaya umalis na siya. Napatingin ako kay Viya
"I'll go with you" seryosong sabi niya sa akin pero umiling ako.
"Hindi na. Kaya ko 'to" i said, she was about to respond to pero tinitigan ko na lang siya.
"Okay, i trust you. Please don't put yourself into something na masasaktan ka" she said.
I'm lucky na may best friend akong ganito.
We parted ways and as soon as I even realized, nasa harap na ako ng pinto ng office ni Miss Klea. Nagd'dalawang isip ako kung aalis ba ako or tutuloy. I heard voices na parang nagtatalo sa loob.
Kaya mo 'yan, Sky.
Okay. I knocked 3 times and I heard her.
"Come on in" she said kaya pumasok na ako.
There I saw my cousin and Miss Klea na magkaharap at parang nagtatalo. Pareho silang humarap sa akin, nakita kong nagulat pa si Jessica pero agad din itong umiwas sa akin.
"Think about what I said, Klea" she said at tumalikod na. Her face softened when she looked at me.
"Goodluck sa pageant mo tomorrow, Sky" she said at ngumiti. Tuluyan na itong lumabas na ng kwarto. And it leaves me and Miss Klea in the room.
She's looking at me habang ako ay iniiwasan ko siya ng tingin.
"Are you just gonna stand there or you'll go here?" tanong niya kaya napatingin ako. I saw her being in crossed arms.
"Tomorrow's the pageant. You'll do great that is why we will not conduct practice anymore. I've called you to give this" she said at iniabot sa akin ang isang paper bag. Lumapit ako to get the paper bag. Pagkabukas ko ay nakita ko ang isang pares ng heels.
"You will use that for tomorrow. Don't worry about the gown, it will be here tomorrow." She said at nagsimula nang magligpit ng gamit.
"Is that all, Miss?" I said. I'm trying to be formal around her. Huwag lang sanang rumupok ang puso ko. Hahahaha.
Tumingin ito sa akin, I saw a hint of pain in her eyes pero agad din itong nawala.
"Yes" sabi niya at umiwas na ng tingin.
"Okay po. May I excuse myself, Miss" tumalikod na ako at akmang aalis na nang magsalita siya.
"Miss Valeria" she said kaya lumingon ako.
"Miss?" I asked.
She wants to say something pero pinipigilan niya ang sarili niya.
"Nothing, drive safe" she said
"Miss, I thought you were single?" I asked kaya napalingon siya.
"What?" She asked.
"When we were at your resthouse, the day of my birthday when we talked about our First Love. You said you're single" i explained.
I saw how she became silent for a moment.
"Our relationship is kind of, confidential. It's private" sabi nito kaya tumango na lang ako. Lumabas na ako ng office niya and i've been silent for almost 5 minutes.

Nakarating na ako sa bahay. Nakahiga ako ngayon sa kama while doing some homework... Sipag yarn?..
May book fell to the ground. I reached for it pero nakita ko ang box sa ilalim ng kama ko.
YES! The letters!
I immediately got the box palabas. Kinakabahan akong tinitignan ang mga letters na nandito. But only one caught my attention. A letter from that person.

Kinuha ko ang letter na 'yun. I have this feeling and this is the answer that i've been looking for. Pero at the same time, kinakabahan ako. Io-open ko ba? Shocks..

How are you, Sky? It's been 5years, but I haven't heard a word from you. 3 years ago, your mother said you guys are in America and you'll be staying there for good. So, you chose to leave me. I kept on giving you letters, I saw your facebook account that is no longer active.
After that accident, your mother kept on blaming me for what happened. Your father also died because it is his car that bumped us. But your mother kept insisting that it is my fault.
I lost my scholarship because of her. I should only be paying the tuition for the last semester but your mother finds a way to make me suffer. She made me pay the tuition for that four years. I don't know where to get that big money for my tuition. It is like, your mother made my life worse. I got a double and triple job, but it's not enough. Graduation is near and the school said i won't be able to graduate if my balance will not be settled.
I almost ended my life because of that. My dreams, our dreams, I almost forgot about it. But someone helped me. She said i owe it to her but I will not repay her through money. She said she might be needing my help in the future. I accepted it because I need to graduate. I want to find you, Love.
I can only contact Viya, your besfriend. But she said that your mother talked to her to say nothing to me about you. But Viya treat you like a sister. That is why she's saying to me that you're fine and you have nothing to do with it.
I know you didn't left for the reason of leaving me or you don't love me. Sky, i want you to know that I still love you. Nothing changes, Sky. It's you, and always be you. Through these years of me sending you letters, i hope you are really reading this. I'm still hoping for a reply from you. I'm still hoping, Love.

After reading those, hindi ko na napigilan pang umiyak. She suffered a lot because of me. She's been through a lot?
Random flashbacks hit my head kaya sumakit ito.
"A-arayy.." i mumbled.
But then, I started to remember everything about her.
Her smile
Her face
Her laugh
The tulips
The car accident.
Everything.
"Love" is the only thing i said at umiyak na lang. I felt pain in my chest. Pain that i can't control dahil sobrang masakit siya. All those years that i felt incomplete inside, suddenly became whole. I became whole. But i didn't imagine this was hard, painful. The girl I love the most, she suffered because of me, because of my mom. She's been in pain for years at wala manlang akong ka-alam alam about doon. My mom hid it from me. That is why she's sorry about it.
Fuck, my girl, my love.. She suffered a lot. Wala ako sa tabi niya para samahan siya. My mother knows this and wala manlang sinabi sa akin before.
My head still hurt as fuck, I'm crying habang nakahiga. The only thing I can think of is her.
