No one's POV
Deep within Ryoko's cave, two dragons have cornered Alex in the nest. The boy was in stuck in a state of horror as these two massive dragons gazed at him with wicked smiles, and one held his claws up high in the air ready to strike and kill Alex in one single attack.
Alex's POV
Alex whimpered while tears started running down his face while the malicious laughs of the two dragons filled his ears.
???: "Well bug let us see just how much you can take before your weak pathetic body gives out." He said grinning like mad.
???: "Yes brother do it, I can't wait to hear him scream and beg us to end his life."
At that moment Alex saw the razor-like claws of this dragon come bearing down upon him at great speeds. Thinking fast Alex rolls to his right trying to avoid the incoming death. Unlucky for him cause the tip of the dragon's claw cuts his leg right between the ankle and knee.
Alex: "Ahhh!" He screamed out in pain.
Alex crashed to the floor and being unable to stop the roll and recover he slammed hard against the nest's walls.
With his back against the wall, and his blood-covered leg burning with pain Alex tried his best to stand up and run away from the dragons who were now coming closer to him while laughing.
???: "Awe look brother you hurt him." One said in a sarcastic voice
???: "Indeed I did." He said chuckling. "I guess I need to work on my aim."
Alex: "Please stop, I have done nothing to you." He said in between his tears and whimpers.
The dragons both started laughing louder as they approached the boy. When they got to him the one who cut his leg reached out and grabbed Alex in his claws. Alex cried out in pain feeling the dragon squeeze his body on purpose while lifting him up to his face.
???: "There are those wonderful screams of pain you humans like to make, and I must say they are music to my ears." He said happily
Just then a grumbling sound emitted from the dragon. Both he and Alex looked down and saw that is was coming from his belly which only caused Alex to look at the dragon in pure fear while the dragon gazed at the boy with a large grin on his face.
???: "Well it looks like I need a snack." He said pulling Alex closer to his muzzle.
???: "But I want to eat him brother please." He said in a pleading voice.
The first dragon turned around and glared at his brother.
???: "No he is mine, but you can have another human we find around here alright." He said sternly
???: "Fine just hurry up cause I'm getting hungry." He said in a pouty voice.
Alex: "Please spare me." He said pleading for his life.
The dragon once again let out a hearty laugh then held a claw up to Alex's chin.
Alex felt the sharp tip of it press against his skin and slightly cut into it causeing a few drops of blood to come out and dripping onto his shirt. The dragon the pulled him so close to his muzzle that its hot purtread breath washed over Alex who had to fight hard not to gag.
???: "You are nothing but insects to us and we can do whatever we want." He said smiling then his expression quickly changed to a cold hearted stare that peiced Alex to his core." All yous can do is accept your place as whatever I want you to be, and right now you are nothing more than a light snack." He said coldly.
The dragon then pulled away the claw from Alex's neck, and opened his mouth in front of Alex revealing a black inside with razor sharp teeth that were pearly white. The dragon then started bringing Alex closer and closer to his awaiting maw while the other dragon watched with an annoyed look on his face.
Alex: "No please no, I beg please." He said crying while thrashing around in the beast's grip.
The dragon must have gotten fed up with Alex's please for he tossed the boy straight into his mouth and shut his jaws with a loud clamp.
Alex punched, kicked, and thrashed as much as he could inside the maw of the dragon. He beated on the tongune while it licked over his body and covered him in the dragon's saliva. While he fought his arms and hands hit sdveral of the dragon's teeth which in return gave him several cuts along those areas.
???: "Hmm your blood is wonderful human, but now its time to send you where you belong." He said happily.
Alex was horrified when he felt the dragon tilt its head back and he began to slide towards the pulsing throat. He closed his tear-filled eyes tightly and whimpered followed by him feeling his feet enter the dragon's throat.
Alex: "Goodbye Mom and dad and thanks for being the best parents I could have asked for, and giving me everything I needed to grow." He said trying to force a smile. "Goodbye Ryoko, thanks for being a good friend." He said quietly
He braced himself for the dragon to take its final swallow and send him down.
Alex then heard the muffled sound of wings flapping. He thought it was the dragons taking off to the sky now, but then he heard the young one call out.
???: "Hey brother did you hear that I could have sworn I heard......"
ROAR!!!!!!
???: "Watch out it's the owner of the cave." His brother called out worried
Alex's world was thrown around at that moment. The dragon that was once about to swallow him roared in pain which rang heavily in Alex's ears, and the sound of flesh being torn occupied it. The dragon was then slammed downward at a great speed, and when his muzzle hit the ground a crack was heard followed by Alex being launched from the throat towards the front teeth. He hit them with his head and back, but before he could recover several claws breached the dragon's mouth and started to force it open.
Alex yelped in fear and tried moving away from the claws though he kept slipping and sliding on the dragon's tongue. And he watched the mouth get prided open and tilted towards the ground. When this happened Alex slid back out of the mouth and onto the cold stone floor.
Alex hit the floor and heard the sound of dragons fighting above him right before the male was thrown away towards the entrance of the cave. He heard terrifying growls coming from overhead and when he looked up to see the owner he could not help but be happy.
For over him was a very angry Ryoko whose teeth were stained with blood, her eyes were slights, her teeth were bearing, and her claws extended ready to kill anything that moved. The boy then heard painful grunts and when he looked over to towards the source he saw the dragon that tried to make a meal out of him was standing up slowly for his neck was bleeding and heaving since a large dragon-like bite mark showed on his neck right at the base of his head.
Ryoko's POV
Ryoko gazed furiously at these dragons who not only intruded on her home but also tried to kill Alex. She had smelled them in her cave as she was coming back from her hunt, so she picked up her speed in case they would hurt Alex. But when she saw one of them throw Alex in his mouth she lost all control and charged the dragon head on.
She had bolted in aiming straight at the dragon who had Alex, and once she reached him her teeth sank into to his neck then she smashed his head to the ground. And when that didn't work she used her claws to pry open his mouth and finally got Alex out.
But now she just stood there growling furiously while staring at the dragons. She heard something crying near her feet, and when she looked down she saw Alex on the floor with blood and saliva covering his body. She let out a gasp and then scooped him up gently in one of her claws.
Ryoko: "O Alex I'm so sorry." She said saddened. " I should have never left you, and now those monsters almost ate you."She said nuzzling his shaking body.
Alex reached up and hugged her snout tightly.
Alex: "It's ok Ryoko." He said weakly. " At least you are back now."
Ryoko couldn't help but smile at his kind words. She started to slowly lick him clean of the blood and layers of saliva the dragon put on him. But she was interrupted when the dragon she attacked spoke up.
???: "What are you doing?" He roared angrily. "Why do you care about that thing like it's a pet."
Ryoko: "He is not a pet." She said sternly. "He is my friend, and you will not touch him again."
Just then the younger-looking dragon got between her and his brother.
???: "Look everyone calm down." He said calmly. He then looked to Ryoko. "Look we didn't come here to fight. we just wanted to meet you and become allies and..."
Ryoko: "So you break into my home then try and kill my friend." She said angrily.
???: "Look um let's start over. Um, my name is Tyson, and this is my brother Smaug." He said with a nervious smile.
Ryoko."I don't care what you are called, you need to leave my home and territory now." She said sternly.
Tyson. "But we can still talk this out." He said quickly. "Just let us explain our reasoning and..."
Ryoko. "NO, ALL I WANT IS FOR YOU TWO TO GET LOST OR I WILL KILL YOU WHERE YOU STAND." She roared out.
Tyson became scared from her outburst and backed away a bit, but Smaug stepped forward with hate in his eyes.
Smaug. "We are not going anywhere, and if you won't talk then I will claim this land for myself along with you and that pest." He said wickedly.
Ryoko: "Fine it's been too long since I have had a good fight." She said smiling. She then looked down at Alex and kissed his head. " Don't worry after this I will take you home ok." She said with a warm smile.
Alex looked up at her with a smile of his own then said
Alex: "Tear him a new one Ryoko."
Ryoko giggled and then laid him on the ground behind her. She then faced her foe and let out a loud roar.
Smaug returned her roar with his own the charged at Ryoko at full speed. Ryoko did the same bearing her teeth and readinging her claws for the fight.
No one's POV
The two clashed with a thunderous smash in a furry of teeth and claws. Both titans were experienced in combat and pushed their limits to gain the upper hand on their opponent.
Ryoko was at a slight advantage due to Smaug being injured from her previous attack. But she was still on her guard since Smaug was still putting up a good fight. She also had to be careful cause there was Smaug's brother who at the moment was standing at the entrance horrified, and Alex who by now had crawled to the cave wall and was trying to hide behind a boulder.
Smaug quickly stood on his hind legs and using both front claws drove them forward aimed at her head.
Smaug: "Die traitor." He roared angrily.
Ryoko dodged to the right and using her tail smacked him in the head with a loud crack that echoed around the cave. Smaug's head was wiped to the left but Ryoko wasn't finished yet since she swung her claw at him and it cut Smaug's neck even more.
Smaug: "Ahh." He cried out in pain while taking a few steps back.
Ryoko: "Stop this Smaug." She said coldly. "You are outmatched here so leave now while you still have your life."
Smaug with blood dripping from several wounds on his neck looked up at her with anger and hate in his eyes.
Smaug: "You are a pathetic excuse for a dragon." He said angrily. "You take that pest into your home and care for it like it's your family. You are a dragon, we are supposed to rule this world and put the human race in their place."
Ryoko looked back at Alex and saw him weakly gazing at her with a look of worry and fear. She intern gave him a warm smile before looking back at Smaug.
Ryoko: "No he is not a pest, but my friend." She said proudly. " And I will defend him to my final breath, so now you have a choice. Either leave my home and never return, or take one step closer and meet your end."
Smaug roared again then rushed Ryoko yet again.
Ryoko responded with a burst of fire from her mouth. The burning blaze struck Smaug in the face and blinded him for a moment while burning the scales around his face. Ryoko lashed out again and smacked him in the face several times with her claws once again leaving scratches and marks on his muzzle.
Ryoko then jumped back and prepared to receive him yet again while Smaug stumbled back. He slowly recovered his sight though his face burned and blood dripped from the fresh wounds. He growled angrily and was about to take a step forward when his brother got in front of him.
Tyson: "No brother you are in no condition to fight. Let's leave while we still can." He said worried.
Smaug looked to his brother and then to Ryoko who glared at him sternly. He then slowly turned to the exit.
Smaug: "Fine I will leave, but you better prey I don't see you or that brat ever again." He said coldly.
Ryoko: "Indeed, now leave before I change my mind."
The two male dragons then spread their wings and took off into the skies. Ryoko then sighed heavily and looked to the ground slowly. But then she felt something hugging her rear leg. She looked back and couldn't help but smile when she saw Alex hugging her leg.
Ryoko's POV
Ryoko chuckled a bit then using her tail picked him up and hugged him to her chest.
Ryoko: "Are you ok little one?" She asked concerned.
Alex: "Yeah I'm ok." He said with a smile.
She chuckled a bit then lowered her muzzle down to kiss his head.
Ryoko: "Now I think it's time for me to get you home." She said putting him on her back while being mindful of his leg injury.
Alex: "Yeah Mom and Dad are going to kill me." He said chuckling.
Ryoko chuckled a bit then took off into the air and towards Alex's farm.
(Timeskip)
Ryoko flew past the lake and forest for a few moments while Alex simply lay against her back. Soon she reached the edge of the forest so she slowly descended to the ground and gently touched down on the soft grass. Ryoko then picked up Alex and held him in front of her face.
Ryoko: "Well I guess this is goodbye little one." She said sadly.
Alex reached up and hugged her snout tightly.
Alex: "No I will see you again, 'cause I will visit you whenever I can." He said happily
Ryoko: "Really you will come and visit me." She said happily.
Alex: "Yep I will come and see you all the time."
Ryoko then smiled happily and nuzzled Alex's chest. Alex giggled happily and continued to hug her, but just then he heard something behind him.
???: "Alex where are you, please come home." A female voice called out
The pair looked at the house and noticed a woman walking towards them with a worried look on her face.
Alex: "That is my mom." He said with a smile. "I better be going now."
Ryoko nodded then after giving him one more kiss she placed him on the ground.
Ryoko: "Goodbye my friend, until next time." She said sweetly.
Alex: "Until next time." He said before turning to leave.
Ryoko watched as he limped out of the forest and once his mother saw him she ran to him and embraced him tightly.
The dragoness smiled happily before turning around to return home, and hopefully, Alex would visit her soon.
