DBK P.O.V
I was relaxing with my wife and son, when suddenly someone bursts through my home. Then I soon realized it was my brothers, Azure Lion, Peng and Yellowtusk. Yellowtusk has my wife bind by the weapons that belonged to the Great Monk and two of his companions, and Peng has my son on the ground with his foot on top of him
"This pursuit has warped your mind, brother. It is the only reason I could imagine that you would have the nerve to assault my home and harm my family!" I shouted
"I only bear fangs to those that would bear theirs at my own. Your family doesn't understand. We are brothers, it was our dream to conquer the Celestial Realm together!" Azure Lion said
"How many times must you be struck down chasing the same foolish dream?" I asked
"The Demon Bull King I used to know would not bend so willingly. He was strong! But it appears the beast has been tamed by the charms of this Celestial Maiden" Azure Lion said as he glared at my wife, and I felt my blood boil in anger
"Do not speak of my wife! Do not look at her!" I shouted
"Hmph. I don't know what happened in the time we were gone, but I've returned to find the mighty have become weak! You're a shadow of your former self, brother. Just another beast subservient to the will of the Monkey King" Azure Lion said, while he was talking, I was building up energy and finally blasts my attack on him. He dodged the beam, but it did hit both Peng and Yellowtusk who were now free "I expected more from you, brother" I failed to notice him pulling out a scroll, the plates went towards me and my wife. I thought we were done for until a familiar cherry blossom shield protected me and my wife
"DBK! Princess Iron Fan! Red Son! Are you alright?!" Coming from above was my future daughter in law
'This must be the new form that Red Son has been telling me about' I thought and I noticed someone else, it was Iris 'Iris? Where did she come from?'
"Sakura? What are you doing here?!" Azure Lion asked
"Isn't obvious, I'm here to save the Demon Bull Family" Daughter in law said
"Cherry blossom..." My son looked touched when she said that, and she turned to look at me
"We need to get out here. We have to warn Nezha" Daughter in law said
"Why the rush, sweetheart? Stay and join the fun!" Peng lunges towards her with his spear in hand, and she blocks his attack with her sword "Your blocking is perfect, but I wonder how good you are in combat? Is it any good like your choice in clothing?" Peng asked as he jumped back and charged at her again
"I'll have you know, I had my share fair of flattery, birdie" Daughter in law said and I surprised to see Peng turn red, and they started fighting
As they fought, I noticed Peng was a bit out of breath, while daughter in law was fine
"Not bad for a cutie like you" Peng said as he tries to catch his breath
"Don't think flattery will get you anywhere" Daughter in law said in her battle stance
"Sakura, we should get out here, while we have the chance" Iris said, and daughter in law nodded. She pulled out some cherry blossom flowers and blew them, creating clones
"Keep them busy while we make our escape" Daughter in law said to her clones and they nodded "Princess Iron Fan, can you take us to the Celestial Realm?"
My wife nodded and used the power of the wind to take us out of here
Sakura P.O.V
Princess Iron Fan took us to the Celestial Realm, and it looks like we're in front of Nezha's palace, and I changed back into my normal form
"Thank you for saving us, daughter in law" Princess Iron Fan thanked me
"You're welcome. I'm just glad I made it in time" I said, and I noticed DBK staring at Iris
"Iris, is it really you?" DBK asked
"Yeah, it's me. It has been a very long time" Iris said
"Father, do you know the kitsune?" Red Son asked
"This is Iris, she used to be a retainer to Konohana" DBK said
"It's a pleasure to meet you" Iris said, then we heard the palace doors opening revealing Nezha
"Who's out the-! Sakura! Where were you?!" Nezha rushed towards me and hugged me, and Red Son looked angry "Do you have any idea how worried I was? You were missing for a couple of days"
"I'm sorry, Nezha. But the reason why I was missing was due to me and my uncles being trapped inside the memory scroll" I said, leaving Nezha shocked
"You mean the Scroll of Memories?! But how?! It was sealed away!" Nezha asked and soon realized something "Wait... Don't tell me Wukong..."
"Yeah, he had the scroll" I said with a sweatdrop and everyone sighed
"I'm not surprised" Nezha said
"I think we're all not surprised" Red Son said
"But that's not why we're here. Nezha, you need to get your soldiers" I said
"Why?" Nezha asked
"Azure Lion, Peng and Yellowtusk are gonna finish what they started. They're going to dethrone the Jade Emperor" I said and that left Nezha speechless
"We must prepare immediately! Huli!" Nezha called out to someone
"What do you want, Lotus prince?" We looked on top of the roof and saw a male kitsune
"Huli! Gather the soldiers! We must prepare for battle!" Nezha said
"Is it another emergency training again?" Huli asked looking uninterested
"No, this is not an emergency training. This is not a drill" Nezha said looking serious
"Oh. So we're actually gonna fight?" Huli asked, now looking interested, and Nezha nodded to confirm "Finally! Some action! I thought I was gonna die from boredom! I'll get the troops immediately!" With that said, Huli left immediately
"Um... Nezha, who was that?" I asked
"That's Huli. He recently joined us in the army" Nezha said "I better prepare myself for the fight as well, so I suggest you all do the same or find somewhere to hide" Then Nezha left
"DBK, Princess Iron Fan, Red Son. Are you gonna fight?" I asked
"Of course I'll fight! No one harms my home and family and gets away with it!" DBK said
"I'll join as well" Princess Iron Fan said
"I'm joining this battle too! They'll pay for making an enemy out of the Demon Bull Family!" Red Son said
"Alright. Then let's prepare ourselves. Let's go Iris" I started walking, but I noticed Iris was following "Iris?" I walked towards her and noticed her face was bright red. I poked her forehead and she snapped out of it
"Oh! I-I'm sorry! What were we talking about?" Iris asked
"Are you okay? You were kind of out of it" I asked
"Um... That boy... Huli... He's... Um..." Iris tries to find the right words, but couldn't find it. It took me a minute to realize
"Oh! I get it!" I said and Iris looked at me with a confused look "You have a crush on Huli!" Then Iris's face turned completely red
"W-W-W-W-What?! I-I-I...!" Iris had no words to say
"It's alright to have a crush, Iris. It's completely normal" I said
"R-Really? I haven't felt this way towards anyone for a long time... Well since..." Iris's sentence trailed off "But... What if he doesn't like me back? I'm scared of being rejected again" Then I put my hand on her shoulder
"If you get rejected, then I'll be here to comfort you. Remember you can always tell me anything that bothers you, I'm happy to listen to your problems. Uncle Sandy told me it's better to tell someone whether than keeping it all in" I said with a smile
"Okay. Maybe once everything is over, I'll tell you" Iris said
"Okay. Let's do our best" I said
No One P.O.V - At Shifu Subodhi's Monastery
Pigsy, Tang, Sandy and Mei were wearing the training gi that the disciples are wearing. Tang was eating noodles and Mei, Pigsy and Sandy were watching the others train
"Oh, yeah, baby! I can't wait to learn some kung fu skills!" Mei said looking excited and she was bonked on the head "Ow! Hey!"
"Do not bother what they are doing. You need to focus on the task ahead of you" Subodhi said
"Uh, yah, that's what I'm doing. Isn't that why we're wasting time here to learn how to defeat Azure Lion from taking over the world?!" Mei said
"Relax, Mei" Tang passes her a bowl of noodles "Here, have some brain food noodles" Then Subodhi bonked Tang on the head, leaving both Pigsy and Sandy trembling
"And you need to stop gorging yourself on our rations!" Subodhi said
"I'm sorry. It's just that I'm stressed, okay? Stressed that Azure Lion has probably taken over the Celestial Realm by now, Monkey King is still trapped in his name plate, MK is MIA and I can't use my powers reliably. I just feel so useless" Tang said as Pigsy and Sandy sighed while Mei nodded
"You were overcome by the emotion. Until now, you've overcome the adversity through sheer power and luck. That won't be enough this time. Azure Lion, The Golden Winged Peng, and Yellowtusk the Wise. Alone, they can best a thousand-man army. Together, they are highly unstoppable. I don not make a habit of extending my training to any mere mortals. The very fate of the universe depends on you. But as you are now, it cannot!" Subodhi pointed at Mei "You, girl, are too impulsive"
"What?!" Mei grew agitated
"You are groveling coward with scrawny ankles" Subodhi said to Tang as he fell to the floor "You pig man, are too stubborn to see the truth" He said to Pigsy
"Hmph" Pigsy looked away
"And you, big blue one" Subodhi looked at Sandy with a dot expression "Are simply delightful" Then gives Sandy a star "You might be the most studious of the lot"
"What the..."
"I want that"
"You all have potential for such unimaginable power. The only ones standing in the way are yourselves
With MK - Flower Fruit Mountain
MK was sitting at the edge while gazing at the horizon of both the sky and mountains, then he heard rustling noises coming from the bush. He was startled then calmed down when he saw the little monkey coming out
"Hey, little guy. Where are your friends?" MK asked, but then suddenly remembered what happened to them. He sighed sadly and looked back at the horizon as the little monkey went towards MK, curled up behind him and sleeps
With the others -Subodhi Monastery
Everyone were in their battle stance
"Right now, you're like jagged stone. Once I'm done with you, you'll be worn down, chiseled, and refined. Except you, Sandy. You're chiseled enough" Subodhi said as he gives Sandy another star and Mei, Pigsy and Tang were feeling jealous
In the library - With Tang
"I know, my issue is self-confidence" Tang said
"Wrong! It's your complete lack of skill" Subodhi corrected him
"Hey!" Tang looked offended
"By the stroke of luck, you've tapped into your powers before and have managed great feats. However, this is not reliable. You're lazy. You whine, complain and you do not practice" Subodhi said and Tang felt those arrows hit him
"Uh... Could we talk about the good qualities maybe?" Tang asked
"The Great Monk Tang Sanzang was studious, a master of the mystical arts. Although rigid, humorless and at times, cold, it was his disconnect with others that allowed him to focus on his studies. To learn all there was to learn without distraction by trivial things such as friendship" Subodhi said
"But what's the point of having all of this power if I don't use it to help my friends?" Tang asked
"Like you and your companions, the original pilgrims were changed by their journey. It took the monk a long time to learn that friendship has its own power too. Something you already learned" Then Subodhi gives Tang a star and he was happy "To aspire to his level of skill, you must study. You can no longer rely on sheer dumb luck and crammin', cram boy" Then Tang started to study
Training Grounds - With Mei
Mei was in the training grounds, she was taking on Subodhi's other students and easily defeats them
"Ao Lie, the White Horse Dragon, exceptionally powerful being. But he was timid and nervous, lacking your confidence and borderline arrogance" Subodhi said
"Hey! I'll show you arrogant, you-!"
"Proving my point. Your friend, who wields the power of the Samadhi Fire, I thought you would know that the flame that lights a candle is also capable of igniting a forest fire. You're capable of much more if only you would slow down and think. Ao Lie knew when to take action caution, and by doing so, could summon tremendous power" Subodhi said as Mei twirls around her sword
"Yeah, like I said, kinda learned all that already, so..."
"Ha! We will see" Subodhi started leaving
"Yo, what about my star?!" Mei asked
"When you've earned it" Subodhi said and Mei got really mad and started destroying the training equipment. Before he left, he turned to Mei and smiles
In the kitchen - With Sandy
Sandy was baking cat theme pastries for everyone in the Monastery, the students loved the yummy treats
"You have nothing more to learn, my hilariously blue student. Another star for you!" Then puts a star on his nose
"Oh, thank you, wise master" Sandy thanked him
"But you are far too nice for your own good" Subodhi pointed out
"Uh-huh, you noticed"
With Pigsy
Pigsy was leaning on the edge of the balcony
"Look, if you're here to teach me some magic tricks or whatever, you can just forget about it, alright?" Pigsy said
"Zhu Bajie was a stubborn one too" Subodhi said
"Oh, what, you think we're the same just cause we're pigs, huh? Bet you think I'm just a disgusting little monster too" Pigsy said
"Zhu Bajie had his vices. However, like all the companions, he grew up. He struggled the most, but worked hard, unlike yourself. Although he didn't start out this way, in time he became a deeply caring and protective creature. And a powerful ally. One of the best, in fact" Subodhi puts a star on his shirt "The heart you have in abundance, the power, why, you're barely scratched the surface of your potential, and that's saying something" Subodhi said as he walked away, Mei saw what happened and got mad again. She threw her sword on the training dummy and the handle hits her head "By breaking these shackles you have upon yourselves, you will become truly unstoppable warriors. Which is what the universe are going to need sooner than we might hope
With MK at Flower Fruit Mountain - Nightfall
MK was eating a banana with the little monkey who brought a lot of bananas
"Sigh. Do you think Monkey King ever felt like this? Maybe that's why he stayed on this mountain, just having a good time with you guys? You know cause he knew he'll be out of the way, where he couldn't anyone he cared about" MK said as the little monkey took the banana out of his hands and started eating it. Then their surroundings turned dark and purple
"Or he was doing his usual Wukong thing and being lazy, peach-loving idiot, ignoring all the world's problems" Coming out from the shadows was none other than Macaque and MK's body started flicking from his original form to his monkey form. Macaque was surprised to see that
"Stop! If you're just here to me with me then..." MK sighed and sat back down on the edge "Go for it, guy. I don't care anymore" MK said
"You know, it's no fun when you say it out loud. Nice tail, by the way. That's new" Macaque said, but MK still looked miserable "Come on, misery kid. I got something to show you"
"Why should I follow you?" MK asked
"Blossom asked me to help you. So I'm just doing her a favor" Macaque said
Azure Lion P.O.V
I was looking at the what's left of Camel Ridge that Wukong and the pilgrims caused centuries ago. I snarled at the memory especially when Konohana had her memories forced out from her mind. While lost in my own world, I failed to noticed Peng from behind
"What a dump. Can't wait to say goodbye to this dirt pile. Yellowtusk, how are we traveling, darling?" Peng asked as Yellowtusk finished creating a spell circle
"We are ready" Yellowtusk said and we walked on the spell circle. Yellowtusk used the weapons that belonged to the pilgrims and teleported to the Celestial Realm. There we saw the Celestial armies along with Nezha, Sakura, Iris, Demon Bull King and his family and another kitsune who were waiting for our arrival
"Azure Lion, I have no idea how it is you come to stand here once more, but you are not welcome in the Celestial Realm. Leave this place, or we will be forced to cut you down again. But this time, there won't be any coming back!" The Lotus Prince said
"Sigh. You can try and stop us, Lotus Prince, but I can assure you the Jade Emperor's tyrannical rule ends today" I said as my brothers and I went into our battle stance
"Then so be it!" The Lotus Prince said
"Alright, men. Let's beat the living day lights out of them!" The male kitsune said and the battle has begun
