Ivy's POV
No no it can't be siruis is playboy he can't like me I don't want him I should talk with one of the guys they'll tell me the truth I returned to the library the girls were talking and checking some books
"Hey finally your back" marlene said as I nodded
"Are you okay " lily asked looking at me
"Yeah I'm fine why wouldn't I be " I said still thinking about regulus's words
"Well you look pale are sure your okay? " marlene asked
"Uhm yeah just a little tired that's it " I said smiling
"Do you want to go to Madam Pomfrey?"
Lily asked
"If you want will go with you "
"No no I'm okay let's just get ready for the second class today "I said helping them return the books to the shelves
We went to class the teacher talked and I wasn't listening I just couldn't focus on anything the whole day I was spacing out fortunately we didn't spend alot of time with the boys today because siruis will be with them and he will surely notice that I'm off today
Finally the day ended as Miss Mcgongall took Peter james and siruis to detention the girls were going to our room as me and Remus wanted to catch up a little we were walking outside
"Are you good you seem not in the mood " he asked me worried I knew it was my chance to ask him
"Remus can I ask you something "
"Sure anything "
"Okay but promise me that you'll be honest " I said
"Uhm okay " he hesitated
"Why is siruis treating me differently and getting so close and touchy with me ?" I asked he sighed in relief as if he was hiding something then got tensed again
" I-ivy I don't know i-if I should be the one to te-" he got interrupted by me
" does he like me ?"
He sighed "Yes he does like you alot and by alot I mean it ALOT"
"B-but how I mean a less than a year ago he was shouting that he doesn't feel anythings for me " I said being confused more than I already was
"Ivy you and everybody knows tha he changed the problem he changed for the better for you after the whole bad situation when you made up he started to notice you and take interest in you "
"But I don't want that even if he really did change I can't be with him or like him again what happened before broke my heart and now that I'm better I don't wanna be broken again " I said remember what happened to me
"I understand that Ivs but siruis has changed he really likes you now he can't stop thinking about you " remus said wanting me to give siruis a chance but I couldn't
" I'm sure he'll forget about me I'm sorry but I won't risk having a break down again " I replied
"Okay I know he did hurt you and I respect your decision come on let head back to the drom before it becomes dark " remus said sighing as I nodded and we head back to the drom the girls were sitting next to the bonfire chatting
" hey you guys had fun ?" Marlene asked smiling
"Uhm yeah we dis " I said smiling as Remus did too
Lily norrowed her eyes feeling suspicious but I brushed it off we talked a bit then the guys came
"Heyy how did the detention go?" Marlene asked them
"Well we did annoy mimi till she let us go soo it was good did you miss me lily flower " james said sitting next to remus
"Ugh in your dreams " lily who sat next to me from the right side said scoffing as I chuckled at them
"Ivs " siruis said smiling at me while sitting next to me from the other side now im in the middle between him and lily
I smiled and moved a little closer to lily not want to be so close beside him
He didn't seem to get it whereas lily got more suspicious we chatted a little suruis kept trying to have a chat with me but I just answered his question not trying to open a conversation
Suddenly I felt a pinch on my right arm it was lily
"Heyy" I said rubbing my arm she shushed and whispered
"Me and you need to talked when they go to sleep " she said seriously as I nodded gluping
After a while the guys went to sleep
"Hey aren't you going to sleep " Peter asked us as the rest of the boys were standing
"No me and Ivy want to stay up little I need her help with some studies " lily lied to them
" I'm not going to stay up for studies I'll also go to sleep good night" marlene said yawning as she left
The boys also went to sleep
"Uhm don't stay late okay " siruis said before leaving
"Don't worry good night " I said not looking at him he seemed to notice as he sighed "good night " he said and left
I also sighed as he left as I looked up to see lily crossing her hand to her chest
"What ?" I said looking at her acting like I don't understand
"Spill it " she said in a stern face
"Finee " I huffed I told her everything what happened
" honestly I'm surprised I thought you'll know sooner the guy is literally head over heels for you what will you do know " She asked me
" Nothing I'll just ignore him I'm sure it's just a small attraction he'll get over it when he does I'll get back to normal " I said
"And what if he doesn't move on and it wasn't just a small attraction what will you do? will you stay ignoring him ?" She asked
" lilyyyy I know you got a point but for know till I get another solution I'll keep ignoring him okay please don't judge me " I said whining
"Okay I'm your best friend I'll stay by your side but that doesn't mean I won't scold you when you're wrong for now let's if your plan will work but to be honest I doubt it" she said patting my back I smiled at her warmly and we went to sleep after that .
