My first year in reception

My first year in reception was really scary because I had just started school I still remember that day. It was frightening because I knew mum was going to drop me off and leave and I didn't like the idea plus I was starting a new school where I hadn't met anyone.
The first day mum dropped me off with the teacher I wanted mummy to stay but she went and I cried for a little bit but then this one girl came over and said "Hey my name is Layla do you want to be friends?" I said, "ok". We became friends and I met her other friends and by then my nerves started to go away and I had made so many friends I was happy I was glad.
Mum came and picked me up on the way home she asked me "How was your day?" I said, "Good mummy I made some friends". When I got home I ran to daddy to give him a hug I missed him. Daddy asked me how my day was and i told my daddy it was good he was happy that I had a really good day and I was glad as well.
