It was a Saturday. It was a week after the party.
I was sleeping in as I always do on the weekend.
I woke up thinking about Danny with this weird feeling in my stomach.
It feels like 1,000 butterflies are fluttering around in my stomach.
Why is this strange feeling in my stomach? And why can't I stop thinking about Danny? Strange.
I sat up, grabbed my phone, and then checked the time.
It's 1:25 PM.
I got two messages.
One from Danny and the other from Justin.
I opened up my message app and checked the one from Danny first.
Danny: Hey hru
Me: Im good wbu
I checked the other one from Justin next.
Justin: Wanna pop down to the shops later on
Me: Yeah, we can go in an hour or 2
I turned my phone off and then put it down on my nightstand.
I decided to take a shower and try to figure out this weird feeling in my stomach.
I walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower. I took my clothes off and then put them in the laundry basket.
I ran my hand under the water.
It's hot enough for me to hop in.
I hopped in, and I started washing my hair and body.
Once I did that, I turned off the shower and hopped out.
I also couldn't figure out the weird feeling in my stomach.
I grabbed a blue towel from the rack and dried my body and hair. I wrapped my towel around my body, left the bathroom and walked back into my room. I removed my towel.
I grabbed my dark grey leggings, red bra, red underwear, black ankle-high socks, and a white t-shirt.
I put them on my bed.
I grabbed my red and white Converse from my shoe rack.
I put them on my bed. Then, I started putting on my clothes and shoes.
Once I did that, I grabbed my phone and checked it.
I got two messages—one from Danny and another one from Justin.
I checked Danny first.
Danny: Yeah, I'm good. I'm just getting ready to go to the shops w Justin. He said that ur coming too.
Me: Yeah, I am, and I'm getting ready too.
I checked the one from Justin's next.
Justin: K, lemme know wen ur ready
Me: Im glad.
Justin: K, ill com pick u up
I left my room, entered the lounge room, and played Bloons TD 6 while waiting for Justin to arrive.
Several minutes later, I heard an engine roaring closer. It stopped, and then I heard a knock on the front door.
Must be Justin
I stood up and answered the door. It was Danny.
The weird feeling in my stomach intensifies.
"Hey," Danny said, smiling.
"Hey," I replied, smiling.
For some unknown reason, I couldn't stop smiling.
They hugged, and I hugged them back.
I felt shivers down my spine as they hugged me.
What's going on with me? What's happening?
About a few seconds later, she pulled away.
I felt disappointed when she pulled away.
"Well, let's get in the car." They said.
I nodded my head. We both started walking to Justin's car.
We both hopped in, and Justin and I both greeted each other. Then, Justin started driving towards the shops.
I think I have feelings for Danny. I mean, when they hugged me, I got shivers down my spine, I can't stop thinking about them, I can't stop smiling when they were around, I can't stop thinking about them, and I want to talk to them first.
"Why do you keep smiling?"Danny asked.
"I don't know." I lied.
I know, but I don't want to tell them when Justin is around because he may ruin it.
Danny just t nodded.
Several minutes later, we arrived at IGA. Justin parked in an empty parking spot, and we all hopped out. Then, we started walking towards the IGA.
We all walked in. Justin grabbed a red shopping basket from the stack of shopping baskets. We were walking around the shop.
I ended up being alone in the lollies aisle with Danyy.
Should I ask Danny out? I mean, I do have feelings for them. But what if they don't have feelings for me and reject me? I'll be heartbroken. But I should take the risk. I mean, they could say yes. Who knows? Now should I ask them out now or later? No, not now. It's too public, and what if someone comes or Justin comes? I'll invite her to my house now and ask her out there.
"Oi, Danny wanna hang out at my place after shopping?" I asked nervously as I smiled.
"Yeah, sure." She replied, smiling.
Soon we finished shopping.
We were all in Justin's car.
"Oi Justin, take me to Mary's house," Danny said to Justin.
"Ok."He replied.
He started driving toward my house.
Several minutes later, we arrived at my house. Justin parked his car in the driveway. Dany and I thanked him as we hoped out. Then, we both walked into my home.
We both entered my room and sat down on my bed.
My heart started beating a million km per hour.
"Danny, there's something I have to ask you. Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked nervously.
Danny had a huge grin on their face.
"Yes!" They explained happily while smiling.
They hugged me, and I hugged them back.
Several seconds later, I pulled away.
"Wanna kiss?" I asked, smiling.
"Yes." They replied, smiling.
I leaned in slowly and kissed her gently. I could feel her smile in the kiss.
Several seconds later, I pulled away. We both smiled at each other.
"I'm tired. Wanna nap and cuddle?" I asked.
"Yes, I'd love that," Danny replied, smiling.
I took my shoes off and threw them on the floor, and then Danny did the same. I laid down and patted my stomach, indicating that Danny should lay down on me. She did so, and I pulled my soft red blanket over us. I kissed them on the top of their head.
"Goodnight," I said, smiling.
"Goodnight," Dany replied.
I soon drifed off to selpp.
