You walk up to your room, taking one last glance to check in case everything's packed and nothing's left. You check the drawers, the cupboards and the bathroom. "Nothing left here,"you mumble to yourself.
"Have you checked the office?"Jungkook knocks at your door.
"I did. Can you check the files-"
"You didn't have anything in there but you have a diary you left in Yoongi hyung's car yesterday after the dinner." He informs.
You fix your bed. "Oh I know about it. I'll be going back with him to the palace so I'll take it from there."
"You're moving out pretty soon huh." He mumbles.
"Hmm?"
"Nothing. If you need help then let me know,"he presses his lips together and waves you a goodbye. You click your tongue.
"Hey do you want to go outside for something?" You ask him.
He halts, turns back to look at you as if he were waiting for this and smiles. "I tho-"
"SO WHERE ARE WE GOING?!"Jimin and Tae knock at the door.
"Honey, you can't leave your hubby like that!"Tae whines playfully and hops over to you. You roll your eyes.
"I thought you were gone for a few days." You hold his hand to make him stop hopping.
"Well I missed you so I came back." Tae smiles wide leaving you in giggles.
"UHUM!"Jimin fake coughs to stop you two from all this lovey-dovey act,"So where are we going?"

Jungkook shrugs. "I dunno."
"We can go to the city? I wanted to meet Mr. Gaston and eat those sweet buns he made." Jimin smiles widely at his name. "He's my favorite! His butterfly legs are the best!"
"Yeah-"
"So let's goooo!"Jimin and Tae drag you out of the room. Jungkook's still standing there confused with the enthusiastic energy they had. He slowly walks out of your room. Takes a look back inside one more time and closes the door gently.

"So bunny boy!"Jimin starts. "How is everything with, her highness?"
"Y/N?"Jungkook frowns.
"Princess Yeji..."Jimin rolls his eyes. Tae's at the wheel while you're sitting in the passenger's seat.
"Oh her,"Jungkook smiles to himself. You see his blush through the rear mirror. You avert your gaze which was seen by the corner of Tae's eyes.
"I met her a few days ago. She's doing well."
"Are you two going out?"Jimin asks. Your heart yearns for the answer but you already know it. You just want him to confirm it.
"Haha...yeah we aren't exactly going out but I think it's in progress since we have been to dinner twic-"
You cough involuntarily. "Sorry, I seem to have something stuck in my throat."
Tae side eyes you with a smirk. "Sweetie, do you want some water? I have some here."
"You have water?"You ask curiously but start coughing again.
"I do,"he asks Jimin to take a bottle out of the pocket in his back seat. Jimin asks him why does he have it in the first place.
"I'm engaged to a human, remember." Tae opens the bottle, you extend your hand to take it from him but you can't stop coughing. He parks the car at the side.
"Aish,"he mumbles worriedly. You drink the water and the others wait for you to calm down.
"You okay?" Jungkook pats your shoulder. "Should we go back?"
Your heart winces in pain all of a sudden. "No...I'm fine." You reply courtly and look outside the window to avoid him.
You guys reach Mr.Gaston's bakery and stay there for some chit chat. He goes in his kitchen to bake some fresh cookies for you while you wait outside in his lounge.
"Hey Jimin," You turn to him.
"Hmm?"
"Is Mr. Worthy available?"You ask.
"That geyser?" he rolls his eyes. "Don't tell me you want to meet him?!"
"No...I wish I could but it's wrong to call him like this." You smile.
Jimin hesitates to reply to you. "Do you want to meet him that bad?"
"I want to,"you smile at Jimin. You don't say anything but just simply pass him a smile. You understand that he might've read your mind by now. Jimin doesn't usually intervenes in people's businesses until it's necessary but this time he did intervene your thoughts.
'I just wish your father learned his lesson. You should know that Mr.Worthy didn't do anything out of hatred for you. He wanted you to be happy.' Jimin looks into your eyes.
"I hope you're happy?"
He smiles at you. "I-"
"Hey! Y/N!" Tae comes running in the lounge. "THERE'S A FESTIVAL TONIGHT! COME ON LET'S GO THERE!"
"Hey bu-"before you could say anything, Tae grabs your hand and drags you out of the bakery towards the car. Jimin rushes after you guys while Jungkook's at the wheel already with someone else out there standing by his door. You recognize him right away.
"Is that Eunwoo oppa?"you ask Tae to which he halts in his tracks.
"OPPA?" He eyes you up and down," seriously?"
"Stop that."
"Girl!" Jimin puts his hand on your shoulder," You stop that. Just call him Officer Woo, we all call him that." You roll your eyes again.
'And here's these two making me regret saying Oppa...seriously though.' You dismiss the thought and walk over to the car.
"Hello, officer." You greet him.
"Evening, Ms. Kang." He greets back. "It's been a while, haven't seen you around."
You nod in agreement. "The council doesn't allow me much freedom." To your surprise Jungkook honks the car. "You were never bounded by us. You simply chose to not move around much."
You sneer at him. "Like I would ever be allowed to wander around without protection."
Eunwoo smiles at the small banter you two have. "So Jungkook is your legal boyfriend, if I am to assume?" He laughs.
"Ah no!" You both exclaim.
"She's with Tae,"Jungkook looks over at you through the side mirror. "They're engaged."
Your cheeks turn red in frustration as Eunwoo's face lights up in surprise. "Really?"
Tae laughs it off. "Well we haven't announced it yet..." Eunwoo grabs both of your hands. "Congratulations!"
You notice how unearthly beautiful this guy is. Your face heats up. "T-thank you."
Eunwoo congratulates Tae as well. You sneer at Jungkook's back. 'You're so dead meat once I get my hands on you.'
While Tae and Eunwoo converse, Jimin puts his arm around your shoulder. "We're kind of behind the schedule...the festival starts in two hours. Besides the vice president is waiting for you at the dormitory. You're summoned for leaving without any notice."
You turn to Jimin in fear. "H.E.L.P."
He smirks at you,"Let's see how that goes."

"I have specifically told you to not leave without notifying me...then why do you head out with these," Seokjin points to the three young vamps standing by the door,"IDIOTS!"
"Hey I'm the parliamentarian!" Tae interrupts.
"That still does not mean you get to take the princess out like this. Do you guys not realize she's the sole heir to the throne?" Seokjin asks them. They stay silent.
"Sunbae...I was the one who wanted to take them out since I'm leaving." You confess. "I wanted to make my last moments memorable." You look down in embarrassment. 'I messed up.'
"Well you should have been careful. You don't know how strictly the king has ordered everyone to be protective around you. You-"
"She can't be bounded like that. She's not a pet. She's a princess," Namjoon interrupts. He and Hoseok enter Seokjin's office. Hoseok waves at you and laughs at those three.
"But-"
"Seriously hyung," Hoseok grabs a cashew from the table and munches on it. "I think she's perfectly fine considering she has these three by her side. Also what if she were on a date with Tae?" He whispers.
"That doesn't mean she's allowed to roam like this without any royal guard beside her. We are answerable to the king and queen-"
"And I'll keep her company for the festival."
The whole room falls silent as he walks out of the shadow by the window. It's Yoongi. Your heart falls into relief as you hear his voice.
"What festival?"Seokjin asks.
"It's the mid winter festival tonight and everyone is formally invited. Even you." Yoongi walks over to your side and leans against the table. "You should prepare an outfit for it."
"Still Yoongi-"
"Okay let's enjoy ourselves, Ms.Kang will be traveling over to the castle tomorrow anyway. We should treat her to some good time in the city of Vamprel. She has worked hard for us." Namjoon winks at you before disappearing.
"Thank you, sunbae," You sigh in relief. "I'm sorry for worrying you, Seokjin sunbae." You apologize. Seokjin sighs out loud.
"I overreacted. Just stay in our sight."
"Thank you. I will."
"And you three-" He points to those three,"I need you with me after everyone leaves!"
"HEY THAT'S NOT FAIR!"the three of them whine. You chuckle.
"But Y/N was the one who-" before Jungkook could complete his sentence, he halts. He looks up at Seokjin with a sudden rush of adrenaline on his face and a slight blush. "She's here."
Hoseok looks out the window. "Princess Yeji is here." He points to Jungkook. "She's in a country girl attire, did you call her over for the festival?"
"I didn't." Jungkook's speech hinders. "Oh is she here to ask you out?"
"I don't know."
A maid knocks at the door. "Master Jeon, Princess Yeji has requested you."
Jungkook looks up at Seokjin. Seokjin sways his head in denial. "I can't believe he got out so easily. You're all dismissed. You can leave and don't forget to wear your disguises."
"Disguises?"you frown. Jungkook looks over at Jimin and Tae, who smirk at you with no context.
An hour later, you're standing in front of a mirror in a traditional attire, with no idea what's going on. You look at your two pig tails, they look pretty cute but what in the world is happening?
"Jimin?"you eye him. "Is there something I should be knowing?"
Jimin flips his hair extensions away from his shoulder. "Oh this,"he points to his extensions," I thought if you're getting a traditional one, I should be doing one too. How do my hair look? Do I look like a lord or emperor?!"
"The costumes! Why are we wearing them in the first place?!" You ask.
"It's cause it's a costume based festival and everyone is supposed to be something or someone and also because you're a royalty, this outfit will keep your identity hidden when the red stone will be displayed at the end of tonight."
"The red what?"
"That." He points to a pendant in your neck which your grandmother gave you. It only shines when you enter the chamber of royal secrets. Which is still unknown to you of course. You just thought it's a welcome gift from the king and queen.
"I see." You touch your necklace. It's conjoined with your mom's necklace you used to wear. "What about the others?"
"Well let's see...hmm." He straightens the creases in his outfit. "I do not know but we shall find out at the festival now let's goooo!"

"Guys please let's buy something to eat!"Tae whines holding Yeontan in his arms. "I'm tired and hungry."
You give him an are-you-for-real look. "You just ate two hours ago." You hasp unbelievingly. "Stop thinking of tannie as food!" You snatch the dog from him who had started to look like a rice ball to Tae.
"Hey I have a good appetite. My grandmother used to feed me a lot." He pouts.
"Yeah his grandma used to beat us too when we would steal her freshly baked muffins." Jimin adds. "She was always complaining about me being chubbier than Tae and used to nag him all the time."
You laugh. "Is that why he's so bony now?"
"Hey! I am not!" Tae tries to show you his muscles as you guys walk through the stalls. You guys are waiting to see a show Jimin has been talking about recently. 'The day of darkness' where a hero saves the whole nation and all. It's your dad's story as far as you've been told. You guys follow up to many stalls while it starts to get crowded. By some point in this rush you lose grip of Tae's hand that you were holding.
You lose sight of Jimin and Tae in no time. 'Great!' You scold yourself. 'You just had to lose them!' You look around in worry with a bleak expression on your face, feeling like a lost child.
'I wonder where Jungkook and sunbae are.' It strikes you for a moment. It's natural to think about Jungkook but where did Yoongi come from? You ponder gazing at a bracelet that caught your eye. 'That's beautiful.' You're in your thoughts as some kids run past you and push you accidently making you fall down.
"Hey!"
"Ah sorry, unnie." A cute little girl, who was among the kids apparently comes over to you. "Are you okay?"
You look at her. 'She's so ADORABLE!' You try to straighten your face as to not show too many expressions. "I- I'm fine." You smile at her.
"Hey! Minji! Sunghoon! Come back here and apologize to her!" she yells over to the kids who had hit you. They come over with sour and pouting faces.
"We're sorry. We just got too excited to not notice you in our way." They bow.
"It's okay. Thank you for apologizing," you smile at them. "I understand the excitement but please be careful or you'll fall. You might even bruise yourselves."
"What's a bruise?" The young girl named Minji asks. You remember that they're vampires and apparently they don't get bruised easily.
"Just be careful." You smile at them. "Now go on and pla-"
"Ningning! Minji! Sunghoon!" A young guy comes running over. "I told you three to not run around so idly!"
"No! Big brother is here!" The three of them panic. You look over at him. Fair to say he's very handsome.
"Halt it!"They guy yells at the three kids, who seem to be about 7-8 years old and also they look like they were about to run again halt in their tracks.
"If you guys run again. I will not spare you-" He looks at you. "Oh-"
"Kang Y/N," you introduce yourself.
"Kim Min Kyu. I apologize for the inconvenience these three caused you."
"No it's fine. I wasn't troubled by them at all." You bow.
"You're very kind," he bows back. "Did you three put on your best behavior with the kind lady here?" he glares at them. They nod in agreement. "We were good vampitizens!"
"Wow Y/N is a beautiful name, unnie." Minji beams.
"Minji is an adorable name as well." She stares at you in shock. "How do you know my name?!" she asks.
"Mr. Kim just took it when he was calling out to you guys." You chuckle as Minji looks over at Minkyu. He laughs at her cute expression.
"Are you with someone, Ms. Kang?"He asks.
"I... I came with two friends who are nowhere to be seen-"
"Weren't you supposed to be at the show?" A very familiar voice asks you. Somehow it felt like home, unlike anything else.
"Yoongi?" Minkyu smiles wide. "It's been so long!"
"It has." Yoongi hugs him. "I see you're baby sitting these three?"
"Neko hyung/oppa!" The three of them run over to Yoongi in excitement. You deadpan at Yoongi. It's a shock and somehow funny as Yoongi gives you a deadly glare to not utter a word out of your mouth. He hugs them. It's a rare sight to see Yoongi with kids.
You fake cough to stop your bubbling laughter. "You know them, sunbae?" You ask him.
"These two here, Sunghoon and Minji are Jimin's cousins and Ning Ning is Seokjin's niece. Also this guy here," he points to Minkyu, "Is Taehyung's older brother."
"She knows Tae?"Minkyu asks.
"Oh she does," Yoongi smirks at you as you jest his arm. "Don't say a word."
"I won't even if I can. It's getting late for the show. You guys should hurry up." He motions for the kids to hurry up.
"Yayyy!" The three of them run over to where they were heading as Minkyu excuses himself and runs after them.
"Come on, we're also getting late." Yoongi extends his hand to you.
"Huh?" You frown.
"Don't get lost again, your highness. I need to make sure you're safe so please give me your hand." He says with the most unromantic and blank expression ever.
"S-sure," you notice his outfit. It's a traditional fit as well. Well he's not wearing any hair extensions but his outfit actually matches yours. Both are in sky blue shades. You place your hand gently into his as he unintentionally locks his fingers with yours. 'He looks like a grumpy cat that's over dressed.' You try hiding your smile or else he'll kill you.
"Let's go." You nod immediately and follow him.

"We're here." He stops by a place with stairs and many vampires sitting on them. The play has already started. You notice the boys sitting in the last row.
"Where were you?" Seokjin inquires.
"We were looking at some jewelry Y/N wanted to check. Jimin and Tae must've mentioned it?" Yoongi looks at them. Both of them play along cause they know how much trouble they're in for losing you in the crowd.
"Oh good. The show's about to start!" Seokjin immediately turns back to the stage.
The curtains open and a young lad comes out. It's a story about a vampire who was in love with someone but she never realized it. In return he always stayed by her side as she fell in love with someone else and married him. He stayed by her side even when her husband betrayed her but she doesn't realize that she loved him as well until he was killed in the war. Upon the arrival of his casket, she cried so loud that everyone who was beside her thought her lungs burst since she lost her voice after that.
It's a painful story. The story progresses to your father's story but you couldn't sit to watch it. You see Jungkook walking in with Princess Yeji.
"Hey has the other play started?" Jungkook asks you. You shrug greeting Yeji.
"Your highness." You greet her.
"Hello, Ms.Kang, you look lovely,"she smiles brightly.
"Thank you. You too-" Your reply is cut off by Jungkook who just pointed at something and drew her attention towards it. Your heart breaks a bit but you see the smile on Jungkook's face when he leans in to hear her say something and brightens up.
'There it is, that look he gives her-' Jungkook's eyes turn purple and so do Yeji's as they gaze at each other in the most heartwarming way possible.
'You've lost, Y/N.' You sigh to yourself standing up.
"Where are you going?"Jimin asks.
"I need to use the restroom." You walk out of that place and head straight to the outskirts of this festival. Your heart's in a haze. A pain. Waning and hurting. You look up at the sky filled with stars, it's freezing at this time.
"You'll fall sick if you keep crying,"Yoongi comes sits next to you.
"I wasn't cryi-"
"I see you don't like princess Yeji?"
"What?"
"You don't like her, right?" He hands you a handkerchief.
You wipe your tears. "I think it's the opposite. I like her that's why I cry over this situation."
"Can you accept them being together?" He gazes at your nose that's turning red.
You pause at his question. "Do I?"
"If you can accept them being together...then I believe you'll fall for someone else even deeper than this."
"How can I be so sure?" You gaze at him in desperation. "I accepted that I will put a stop to what I developed for Jungkook but it's hard to overlook them." You break down in tears at this point. It's awful but maybe you do need to cry it out. Yoongi doesn't say anything while you weep and wipe tears off your face.
After a while you stop. Your chest feels a lot lighter somehow.
"Want to get your mind off of this?" He whispers
"I sure do." You nod. "I think I've cried enough. I feel better." You wipe your tears again.
"If I were to do something that can take your mind elsewhere, would that be acceptable?" he asks with a smirk. You roll your eyes playfully.
"And what would that be?" You move closer to him. "You'll wipe my memory?"
"I'll give you something memorable instead."
You chuckle at his reply. "Would you?"
"Mhm."
"I'm quite curious now." You pout playfully.
"You should be." He leans in closer to you. "I'm seriously going to wipe Jungkook off your mind."
"Would you?"
"Am I allowed?" he asks.
"MHM."
"I'm asking seriously...am I allowed to?" he asks again.
"You certainly are." You nod with confidence.
"Am I?"
"Yes you a-"
Two soft lips come crashing against yours'. Disheveled hair. His left hand on your right cheek, the cut from that fight with Dong Wook is still healing and his right one just made it's way to your back. You feel the metallic taste of blood mixed with mint developing in your mouth. Your mind races to analyze the situation at hand.
Within a few seconds he pulls back. The kiss itself didn't last for more than ten seconds.
"Was that long enough to take him off your mind?"
"Uh-"
"You're still able to respond normally-" He places his lips on yours again. This time a bit gentler but still pretty dominating. The taste develops just fine. Your mind goes blank. You don't move as he pulls you close to him making your arms rest against his chest. You close your eyes. He notices you compliance and deepens the kiss.
'I think I'm definitely insane for letting this happen but why do I feel so happy about it?' You gently grab his shirt to hold yourself up as chills travel down your spine. It's electrifying, insanely making your legs give up and your body fall out of breath. You break the kiss this time.
Both of you catch your breaths.
"Sunbae-" he seals your lips again.
"He's stealing my fiancé!" Tae whisper shouts from behind the bushes, about a mile away.
"Fake fiancé!"Jimin corrects him.
"You knew?"
"Everyone does. We're not stupid you dumbass."
"But this is ethically wrong!" Tae whines.
"You want to go against that guy?"Jimin raises his brows at Tae.
"Nope."
"Good now let me enjoy it before he notices us!" Jimin hits Tae, who shuts his mouth still with a pout on his face, he turns back to spying on you two.
"It's ethically wrong to stalk vampires and humans." Hoseok joins them.
"It's even worse to spy on the royal princess," Seokjin joins in as well.
"But it's acceptable since we're the council of Vamprel and our vice president is finally making a move on her." Namjoon advises from behind.
Jimin and Tae jump in shock.
"Gyah!"
"You two." Seokjin hits their head. "Stop shouting!"
"You stop yelling!" Hoseok tries to calm Seokjin by yelling at him.
"You stop too!" Seokjin yells back.
Namjoon on the other hand wonders how these four ended up at the council. "It's no use even if you guys stop yelling, they've left already." He states nonchalantly.
"What? WHERE?!" The four of them ask in unison.
"I don't know. Yoongi heard us and took Y/N somewhere."

Yoongi's holding your hand, through the crowd and leading you on to somewhere he said he wanted to take you. Your face's red. He just asked you to come with him and you agreed. You don't know what will happen after this but you do know that you can't understand anything at the moment. People are eyeing you guys up as they recognize Yoongi and also the fact that he's holding hands with a girl.
He on the contrary seems to be unbothered with them. You guys stop in front of an old lady's antique jewelry stall.
"Sunbae?"
"I have something I wanted to give you but I couldn't for a long time." He asks the old lady for the gift he had asked her to bring.
"I see...young master is finally giving his half to the wovamp he likes,"she nudges him.
"What does she mean?"
"Young master Min once came here with the late prince. They bought two matching birth stone pieces, a bracelet and a necklace for their future betrotheds' but unfortunately he came to return his bracelet once his friend, his majesty, passed away." She takes out a box from underneath the table.
"I kept it and told him to come back one day. Here you go," she hands the bracelet to Yoongi.
"But I don't deserve this." You hesitantly move back a few steps.
"Don't worry," Yoongi smiles at you. "I will pursue you in my own way and try to approach you. I don't want to force my feelings on you nor do I want you to feel burdened by them. This is simply a gesture of apology for taking away your very first kiss back in that ally that day."
You blink in confusion. "You what?"
It hits you. Your very first encounter with Yoongi. "OH MY BUNNIES!"
"Yeah...I figured you forgot."
Your face turns red in embarrassment. "I..."
"Can I?" he asks holding the bracelet up. You extend your hand. He moves in close, locking it against your wrist. You can feel his breath hitting you gently.
"I don't want you to think I am doing this out of some obligation to you as the princess, Y/N. I have had feelings for you for quite some time by now." He gently looks at you and locks his gaze with yours.
"Since you're going far away, I want you to remember me once you go back. Maybe not today but one day when we meet again...I would like to know your answer to this question."
You lean in closer to him, resting your forehead against his chest as your heartbeat makes it difficult for you to hear him clearly.
"What question?"
"I want to be a part of your future. I will always be a part of it as it's my duty to protect you but if I can be more than just a vampire on the lookout for you. Am I allowed to do that or not?"
"That's..."You close your eyes. You need time to think about it. "I'll think about it."
"You promise?" He looks down at you. You look up at his face. His eyes are purple. Now it makes sense. Everything does.
"I-"
Fireworks interrupt your sentence. The stalls and their lights go out to only let the light of moon and the fireworks compliment the night sky.
Jungkook and Yeji make their way to the the stalls, looking up at the sky and admiring it's beauty.
"It's so pretty," Yeji looks up at the sky. Jungkook nods looking at her. "It is..." His eyes catch something unbelievable. He can see two very familiar silhouettes. Two of his very close loved ones. He sees her look up at him as he looks down at her. She says something but the fireworks start and interrupt her. Jungkook looks up at the sky.
He wraps his arms around Yeji as his gaze traces back to their silhouettes. They're kissing. His eyes widen in surprise.
"No way." He mumbles.
"Did you say something?"Yeji asks.
"No- I was just amazed by the fireworks. They're beautiful." He looks up. She nods in agreement, "They are."
He looks back at them one last time as his smile is uncontrollable. 'You did amazing, hyung! Y/N deserved the best and I'm so happy that it is you out of us all!'
With a sense of satisfaction and overwhelmed emotions, everyone admires the night sky with colors spread all across it. Jungkook pulls the wovamp in his embrace and sighs deeply.
'I knew it'd be him. It was always him. He was the one she always looked out to whenever something happened. He was the one she made her first eye contact with even if it were for a mere reassurance. The way they always looked for each other first...of course they're meant to be.' He smiles to himself. 'Glad I promised myself to never cross the line.'
He looks down at Yeji, who's all comfortable in his embrace. 'I'm glad I didn't overstep my boundary.'
"What are you looking at?"Yeji asks playfully.
"Nothing." Jungkook kisses her forehead,"I love you."
