It was an accident. Billy didn't mean to push stu. He just got so angry, and she was just in the way.
God, he never hated himself more than he did right now.
He hoped that stu could forgive him.

(A couple hours earlier)
Stu was cleaning the house , she was currently doing the laundry. She was folding hers and Billy's clothes and putting them in the drawer.
She hummed to herself as she did so, a small smile on her face.
She glanced over at Billy, who rushed into the room like something was on fire.
She raised an eyebrow, watching as Billy opened and closed drawers. "What'cha looking for?" She questioned, putting a shirt away.
"There's this piece of paper with something written on it. Have you seen it?" Billy questioned, turning to look at stu who shook her head.
"No. What's written on it that's so important?" She questioned, and Billy sighed,"That's none of your business," he spat out.
"Sorry, I was just asking so I can help look for it," stu quietly told him, looking down at the floor, hating when Billy snaps at her.
"It's not like you can do much. You're practically useless," he grumbled , throwing the clothes that stu just folded out of the drawers and into the floor.
Stu didn't know what came over her, but she got a bit angry seeing Billy doing that. It took her two hours washing and drying their clothes, and she just folded them and put them away , just for Billy to come and throw them on the floor.
"Hey! Stop that," she said, grabbing Billy's wrist to stop him from throwing more clothes on the floor.
It was clearly a mistake to do that. She didn't have time to react before she felt a stinging pain on her left cheek.
Billy had just slapped her ," Fuck off!" Stu glared at Billy and she slapped him back.
Her eyes widened in horror because of what she just did, and she quickly started to apologize, "I'm so sorry, Billy, I didn't...I didn't -" stu cut herself seeing the angry look in Billy's eyes
She backed up , and she didn't notice that she had left the room, Billy reached out and pushed her with so much force that she didn't have enough time to catch herself and before she knew it, she was rolling down the stairs and her head smacked against the railing.
Billy eyes widened as he realized what he did. "Shit! Shit! Stu baby,!" He rushed down the stairs and kneeled beside stu, seeing blood pooling underneath her head.
"Shit, shit," Billy quickly stood up and grabbed the phone, calling an ambulance before going back to stu, putting a cloth on her head wound, waiting for the ambulance to arrive.
"I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry," Billy whispered , soon hearing the sirens of the ambulance.
Everything that happened afterward was a blur to Billy.
They took stu into surgery and said that she had internal bleeding or something like that. Billy wasn't paying much attention to that as he stared at stu.
Once they took stu into surgery, Billy waited in the waiting room.
"What the fuck happened billy!" Tatum riley rushed the waiting room, followed by Sidney , Randy and Dewey.
"She...she fell down the stairs and smacked her head against the railing," Billy told them, he didn't want to tell them that it was him that pushed stu down the stairs.
Clearly, it seemed that neither Tatum nor Sidney believed his bullshit but before either of them could say anything, the doctor came.
The doctor had told them that stu was currently resting and that she would be fine.
Everyone felt relieved at the news ,"you guy's can go ahead and see her," the doctor told them before leaving the waiting room.
"Dewey, Randy, why don't you guys go ahead, we just have to talk to Billy for a second," Tatum told them , dewey and Randy glanced at each other shrugging and walking out of the waiting room.
Tatum turned and glared at Billy, crossing her arms. "I want the truth, and I want it right now,"
"I told you. She fell down the stairs and smacked her head against the railing," Billy told them, "now can I go see her?" Billy tried to walk away, but Sidney blocked his way
"How did she fall?" Sidney questioned in an accusing tone. Billy looked between both girls who were waiting for an answer.
"What-..what are you saying that I pushed her down the stairs?i... I would never do that!" Billy told them
"Mabye, she found out that you were cheating on her? What? Do you think we didn't know? Come on, we're her best friends , and we saw you going into a hotel room with that stupid bitch of a whore." Tatum spat out
"That's motive enough, she found out, she was gonna leave you and you pushed her down the stairs," Sidney added
"It was a fucking accident! I didn't mean to!" Billy finally snapped, lowering his voice afterward, seeing as nurses looked over at them
Billy sighs, " she..she was just folding our clothes, and I came in looking for the paper with the girl I've been seeing number, I was just angry that I couldn't find it and I started throwing our clothes into the floor and stu stopped me and I slapped her and then she slapped me back, god..she was so scared of me, she backed out of the room , I didn't even noticed that we were out of the room until I pushed her and she fell down the stairs," Billy explained
Before Billy could even react, his head titled back a bit by the force of the punch Tatum delivered , "Fuck! " Billy hands covered his nose as it started to bleed.
"You fucking bastard! You cheating asshole! If you didn't love her anymore, you could've just ended it! You could've killed her!" Tatum was being held back by Sidney, who looked just as angry as her.
"Either you tell her or we will, we're done keeping this a secret. " Sidney told him
"I love her!" Billy told them, "then why the fuck are you cheating on her for!?" Tatum growled out
"I..I don't know," Billy admitted and Tatum scoff, "you better beg on your knees and pry to God that she forgives you, she'll probably well, because she's like that, but if I ever see you with another girl again..I'm gonna fucking kill you," Tatum told him
"And I'll help," Sidney added with a small glare
"Is everything alright in here?" A nurse questioned peaking her head inside looking at the three of them
"Everything is fine," Sidney said with a small forced smile ,"we're just on our way to vist our friend," she added and Tatum nodded
The two of them threw a look at Billy before walking out of the room.
"You okay, sir?" The nurse asked Billy, who nodded ,"Yeah, I'm gonna clean up," With that, Billy walked out and headed towards the bathroom.
By the time Billy walked into the room where stu was, everyone was crowding around her. She was sitting up awake, with a bandage wrapped around her head.
Everyone had sadden faces, Tatum had tears running down her cheeks, Sidney was close to tears, and Randy was looking down at the ground, his shoulders shaking.
Dewey looked at Billy before looking at stu , "How is she?and why is everyone crying?" Billy questioned
Stu turned to look at him with confusion," I'm sorry....who are you?"
Billy stood there in shock because stu doesn't know who he is.......mabye this could be a second chance....make everything right.
It seemed like Tatum knew what he was thinking because she started to shake her head, but he ignored her.
"I'm Billy loomis, I'm your boyfriend."
