I went inside after waving at Shiva. My whole family was looking at me with a smile.
Appa cleared his throat and said " ok time aachu ellarum poi thoongunga morning early ah ezhumbanum"
We all went to our respective room. Amma came to my room with me.
"what's going on here mithu ma" amma asked with a teasing smile.
"maa" I spread some decent gifts Shiva sent me on the bed.
"idellam eppo kudutharu" amma asked.
"shruthi varshu varumbodu kudupanga ma" I said.
"oh idhunala than andha sisters duo daily vandangala" amma asked. I nod my head.
"mithu ma. Ippo thaa nimadiya iruku da. Unna enga kann munnadiye vachu vazhathutoma so we were really scared to sent you to India alone. But ippo un life inganu aaga pogudunadum I was worried how you gonna manage everything nu. But after seeing all the efforts he has made to keep you happy. I feel relieved. " Amma said holding my hands.
" he loves me amma. Naa happy ah irupen. Edaila sanda potom pesama irundom, naanum London vanduten but he was waiting for me all this while, avan nenachirunda he could have married someone else. But he waited for me amma. He loves me." I said happily. Tears slipped out of my eyes.

" ammmaaaa" I whined.
"sleep bachcha" amma patted me to sleep. I slept hugging my amma that night.
Morning 4 am
"Mithu ma wake up bachcha" I heard my amma's voice. I slowly opened my eyes with lots of difficulty. I felt so sleepy but I can't sleep today coz its my marriage.
"face wash panitu coffee kudichitu vaa." amma said keeping the coffee cup on the nightstand.
I washed my face, brushed my teeth and came out wiping my face with a towel. I had my coffee and took my phone in hand. I was expecting a message from Shiva but there was none.

I smiled seeing the message I sent.
"mithu ma time aagudu da seekram vaa" amma yelled. I went to the hall. And amma and paati prepared hot water for me to take shower. I took shower by the time i came out wearing my dress. Amma said that the makeup artist is here.
The makeup artist started doing her work.
Finally the makeup and saree draping was done perfectly. I was looking damn hot nga. Shiva pathadum apdiye kannula heart varum apdi iruken. I know konjam over built up but its OK. Kalyana ponnu built up pannalam thappu illa.
I went out after getting ready. My whole family was waiting at my room door to see me.
Everyone got emotional seeing me. Aiyoo...
"azhaga iruka mithu ma" appa hugged me. A drop of tear left his eyes.
"appa yen azhuringa" I asked.
"my little girl is getting married." he said with a smile. Everyone started showering their love on me.

We went to the poojai room and prayed for the wellbeing.
Kadavule I just erased all those bad memories from my mind. From today I'm gonna start a beautiful life with my Shiva. Don't let anything bad happen to us. Definitely kovil ku vandu sanda poduven aprom unga power pathi makkazh laa question pannuvanga. Soliten.....
"mithu ma take blessings from thatha and paati" amma said. I did as she asked and I took blessings from amma and appa too. While doing it I saw amma's anklets.
My mind flashed the sad face of Shiva last night.
"kezhambalam" thatha said.
"oru nimisham" I said and ran to my room carrying this heavy dress and accessories.
"mithu ma paathu po. Enga indha nerathula iva pora" paati said.
I opened my cupboard and took out the anklets Shiva bought for me. I sat on the bed and wore it.
When I walked the sound it made brought a smile on my face. I hope you like this shiva.
My family and I got in the car and went to the kovil where my wedding is gonna take place.
Shiva's POV
"dei anna endri da kadhava thira da eruma neram aachu da" I woke up with a jerk when I heard my noisy sisters banging on my room door, yelling.
I opened the door, yawning...
"dei anna innum ezhumbala nee. Neram aachu da amma thitite irukanga seekram kuzhichu ready aagitu va. Nanga poi makeup podanum po" shruthi pushed me into the bathroom While vashu handed me the towel. I heard them exiting the room locking the door.
I looked at myself in the mirror. I slept late last night thinking about my embarrassing moment there in mithu's house. How I'm gonna face them.
Relax shiva it's ok. Aththa unaku amma mathiri so thappa nenaika matanga... I tried to convince myself. I took a shower, i came out our wrapping a towel around my waist. I searched for my phone but I couldn't find it. I went downstairs wearing a track pants and t-shirt.
"vanditiya shiva. Vaa saami kumbitutu dress vangiko" amma said. Everyone gathered in the poojai room. I prayed for a happy life with mithu. Appa handed me my new clothes. I got it from him with a smile.
I stopped my sisters who are going to their room.
"ennada" they asked.
"en phone enga di" I asked.
"amma thaan anna sonnaga nee phone laye pesitu irupa. So ada eduthu avanga kitta kuduka solli adan senjom" Varshu said shrugging her shoulders.
"romba nalla puzhainga ma neega." I said gritting my teeth. I thought of sending mithu a message before starting our lives as a husband and wife but family ah plan potu keduthutanga.
"shiva time aachu da poi ready agitu vaa" amma said. I was going to my room. But anu and keerthy blocked my way.
"yenna venum" I said hiding my irritation seeing their face.

"inga parunga polambi en time waste pannadinga. Just go and blabber somewhere else" I said and walked to my room. But their words made sense. Since the time she came back to India mithu kept distancing her from me. Even I'm the one who talked about marriage but she was confused about it.... Oru vela naa avazha force panreno...
I was in my thoughts... Someone knocked on door.
"shiva nalla nerathula kezhambanum da seekram vaa time aachu" amma knocked on the door and said.
"5 minutes ma" i said and got ready. I wore that pattu veshti and shirt. Gelled my hair and groomed my beard. I'm all set to leave but my mind is wavering between my love and mithu's condition.
I went to the hall after getting ready. I took blessings from my parents and some elderly people.
We left to the temple. But my mind is bombarded with the thoughts of mithu. She refused to talk to me, she never replied my messages, even during wedding shopping she avoided me to the maximum. It feels like I forced her into this ana ava deny pannavum illa. Ugh i slammed my fist on the dashboard grabbing everyone's attention.
"yennachu anna are you ok" shruthi asked.
"yennachu da" amma asked.
"onula ma" I lied. We reached the temple. I was welcomed by mithu's family. I saw Ryan among them. I eyed him to follow me.
"what's wrong bro" ryan asked.
"is everything alright" I asked.
"what are you talking about" he asked.
"is she really happy with this marriage or am i forcing her into this. She didn't even talked to me ever since the marriage talks started. I'm really nervous." I said walking to the manamedai.

My eyes sparkled and the marriage rituals started. I was asked to do whatever the iyer says. I was doing the rituals with a bright smile. Let's see my dear pondatti neega evlo dhooram poringanu....

I was waiting to see mithu's in bridal attire. I saw her coming towards the manamedai like an angel. I couldn't take my eyes off her she is taking my breath away.
She was smiling at everyone when she noticed me she deliberately wiped her smile. I was smiling internally seeing this side of mithu.
When she looked at me again. I winked at her. Her cheeks turned red while her eyes widened. She looked around to see whether anyone noticed it or not.
She was made to sit beside me.
"mithu" I called her secretly.
She didn't even turn to me. I secretly took my left hand near mithu's waist just like I'm crossing my arms and pinched her waist.
"ouch" she yelled looking at me, rubbing her waist secretly. Everyone turned to us and was looking at mithu weirdly but my friends, sisters and ryan were hiding their laughter as they know what would have happened.
"ennachu mithu ma" aththa asked.
"erumbu amma" she lied. I hid my smile gently biting my lower lip.
"kalyanam pudikalana venam st-" I didn't even complete.
"savadichiruven..." she said with a smile but I know what she is implying.
"appo kalyanam panika ok va madam" i asked looking at the people around us.

"indhango" the iyer handed me the thaali. I looked at mithu. The smile on her lips and eyes said how happy she is.
"gettimelam gettimelam" the iyer said. I tied the thaali around her neck. A drop of tear handed on her saree. She looked at me and smiled brightly.
"I love you don't hurt me ever.. " she said. All the guilt and burden in my heart faded away that second. I'm hearing this after a very long time. I erased the word hurt... I'll never hurt her ever....
"I love you more and I promise I'll never hurt you ever. " I said. We looked at our parents. My amma, mithu's amma, appa, thatha, paati had tears in their eyes and smiles on their lips.
The time for me to wear the metti on her toes also came. I lifted her foot and kept it on the stone. I wore the metti on her toe. She lifted her saree a little. That's when i noticed the anklets on her ankles. A drop of happy tears landed on her foot.

The marriage is done with the blessings of our family. Now We were going to our home.
We were sitting leaving a little space between us in the car. It was all good but we felt little shy today.

We reached home. They took the aarathi for us. Mithu was asked to lit up the lamp in the poojai room.
I was desperately waiting for some alone time with mithu. I just want to talk my heart out to mithu.
"mithu ma, shiva rendu verum early ah endricha nala tired ah irupinga konjam rest edunga mithu ma appa amma vandadhum koopdren" my amma said. I was thanking her mentally.
"illa aththa naa ingaye iruken neraya relatives varangala paaka jolly ah iruku" mithu said clapping her hands once.

I couldn't even say anything but watch my sisters accompanying us to our room.

I closed my room door and turned. There stood my mithu my wife with a smile on her face.
She extended her arms inviting me for a hug. I rushed to her, closing the space between us. I hugged her tightly. She buried her face in my neck and started crying. I did the same.
She pulled away from the hug and started hitting me.
"dei panni evlo thairiyam irunda ennaye hurt panirupa huh. Enna epdi da hurt panna thonuchu korangu payale." she pulled my beard quite harshly.
"ahhh valikudu di vidudi" I tried to loosen the grip.
"sollu da naaye evlo azhuden nu teriyuma easy ah vandu sorry ketu kalayanam paniko nu kekaura. Loosu... Avlo easy ah unna manichiruven nu nenachiya" she grabbed my collars and asked.
"Sorry di let's forget it all" I said.
"ethey forget it iru unna" she looked around and grabbed my body spray bottle.
Enna panna pora.... I didn't get her.
She came to me running as if she is gonna crush me. I ran away from her. She pulled my shirt from behind and pushed me on my bed.
I fell on the bed with a thud and she landed next to me.
"semmaya iruka mithu indha angle la" I blurt out without realizing the consequences.
"naa kovama iruken nee romantic mood ku poriya. unna... " she grabbed the pillow near by and put it on my face suffocating me. She started hitting me with the spray bottle on my shoulders.
"mmm viddhh" I pushed the pillow away.
"kalyanam ana anike koola panna pakura di paavi" I said catching my breath.
"romba kasthama iruka da" she asked caressing my face.
"mooche vida mudila" I said pulling her over me.
"aduku thaane apdi pannen" she said and suffocated me with the pillow again. I threw the pillow and pulled her to me.
"nijama kasthama iruku di" I said.
"sorry" she kissed me on my cheeks. Making me smile brightly.
"ama nee indha books padam la vara mathiri revenge edukuren nu kalyanam pannaliye" she asked.
Enga irundu thaan ipdilam yosikurazho.... Let me play with you for sometime.
"ama nu sonna yenna pannuva mithu" I asked looking into her eyes.
"enna seivena kekura mavane" mithu grabbed my hair in both hands and started pulling my hair back and forth...

She went to the mirror and looked at her visible waist.

I rested my head on her shoulder and looked at us.
"shiva can I ask you something" she asked.
"mmm" i replied.
"dress and jewelries romba uncomfortable ah iruku. Can i change into something else." she asked.
"naa kooda vera edo kepanu nenachen" I said.
"mmm nenapa nee. First help me remove this jewelries" she said removing her bangles.
"mithu unmaila la enna manichutiya." I asked out of guilt.
She turned to me and cupped my face "first kasthama irunduchu illanu sollala but you made me forget that Shiva. I helped her remove the jewelry... And remove her hairdo...
she turned to me with a smile.

"ok wear my clothes then" I said with a hidden motive.

I pulled her cheeks and said "I got my mithu back... The one who I fell in love with"

I went to my cupboard and took a t-shirt first but I smirked seeing the white shirt ..
I took it in my hands without any second thoughts, i took out a new towel and went to her.
"indha mithu seekram kuzhichitu vaa naa dress change panitu wait panren" I said handing her the clothes.
"ok done" she said. I sat on my bed waiting for my wife.
"shiva inga vaa" she called me.
"ennachu di ippo" I asked.
"sonna kezhvi kekama vaa adan purusha latchanam nu unaku teriyadu" she asked.

"kai neetu" she said. I extended my hand. She placed her saree in my hand.

"ok seekram vaa" I said and put the saree on the bed. The blouse and inskirt she gave wrapped inside the saree fall out.
I smiled seeing this cute shy behavior of her. I changed into a track pants and a t-shirt.
I picked her saree, folded it and let it hang.
I sat on the bed and started scrolling through Instagram. I saw my friends status it was the videos and pictures from my marriage. I smiled seeing that.
Mithuna's Pov
Achchoo inner kooda illaye ipdiye va vezhiya poven....
I looked at myself in the mirror. The white shirt I have worn reached the mid of my thighs. Paavi payan plan potu indha colour shirt kuduthurukan. Nee plan poduratha naa nadaka vida maten..... Viduvena🙄terila... Flow la povom...
"mithu confident ah po. Yaaru enna solra nu pakuren" I said to myself and wrapped the towel around my waist over the shirt. I parted my hair and put it both side of my chest.
I went out feeling a little shy. But the reaction shiva gave me made me laugh.
He was looking at me gulping...
"enna da ipdi pakura enaku siripa varudu" I said and sat beside him casually.
He pulled me to him and hugged me from behind. My back is resting against his chest and his hands were wrapped around my waist.
"mithu" he called in a husky tone making my heart to do a summersault.
"mmm" I replied.
"naa vangi kudutha gift la pudichuda" he asked gently biting my earlobes.
"mmm" that's all i could reply when he is literally taking my breath away by his actions.
Mithu neethan andha bathroom la vachu veera vasanam pesuniya...... My mindvoice... Thuu...
"enna pathu badil sollu di" he said turning my face to him.
"romba pudichirundu.... Ellam nyabagam vachurukiya enna avlo pudikuma" I asked.
Placing a kiss on my cheeks....
"ellame nyabagam iruku" he said winking biting his lips.
"dei romantic ah pesuve nu patha. Nee ippove first night ku plan podiriya enaku unna pathi nallave teriyum odi poiru" I said getting up from the bed.
"enga poringa madam" he asked pulling the towel I wrapped around my waist.
"adei ennada panra idellam list laye illa" I said.
Pulling me to him. He said " but yen list la iruku mithu"
His lips were reaching near mine.... We haven't kissed for more than a near but it gonna happen now. I closed my eyes in anxiety.
"Shiva kadava thira pa mithu appa amma vandurukanga" we heard aththa voice. We pulled away.
"shiva.... aththa... Kadavu" I couldn't talk casually. Konjam vekkama varudu...
"nee inga iru naa poi door open panren" he said and left.
"shiva mithu amma indha suitcase kuduka sonnaga.." i heard aththa saying that.
"5 minutes la varom ma" he said and came with my suitcase.
"dress change panitu vaa mithu naa kizha poren" he said and went. I locked the door and changed into a decent anarkali suit.
Author's Pov
Mithu went down. There she saw Shiva, her appa, Ryan, thatha and lot more people talking and laughing.
Mithu was looking at husband lovingly and the moment shiva's eyes landed on her. The smile and the way his eyes twinkled made butterflies fly in her stomach.
"mithu ma inga vaa we have to talk about something" vigneshewaran said.
"sollunga appa" mithu said and sat beside him.
"mithu ma we have done some legal works related to your marriage and there is a little more work which we have to do in London. So adunala neeyum Shiva vum London varanum" vigneshewaran said.
Mithu looked at Shiva.... He understood her mindset now.
"problem illa mama eppo ponum" shiva asked.
"nalaiku evening nanga ellarum porom so neegazhum engakooda vanga. Mithu citizenship irukura nala you will get the visa very quickly" vigneshewaran said.
"ok mama evlo naazh stay panna vendiyada irukum..." he asked.
"3 days la ella legal papers um unga kaila iruku. You can come back anytime you want" vigneshewaran said.
"ok mama unga kooda tickets book panunga" shiva said.
"mithu ma inga vaa" people started getting busy for lunch. Mithu and Shiva didn't even get time to spend some quality time.
They had their lunch. They couldn't even speak for a second as they were surrounded my relatives. Shiva was waiting for the time for them to get ready for the reception. So that they can have a little private moments.
"mithu ma nee shiva room la poi ready aagu. Shiva nee varshu room la un dress la eduthu poi ready agu" anandhi dropped a bomb on shiva's dreams.
Mithu and Shiva went to his room.
Shiva thought atleast they could spend a 5 minutes with each other but the makeup artist accompanied them to the room.
Shiva and mithu looked at each other longingly and shiva picked his things and went to varshu's room.
He was completely fed up... Mithu en mela kovama irundapo illada disturbance ippo ellam sendu varudu oru kiss kooda vazhi illama panitiye Author..... Shiva yelled in frustration.
Shiva and mithu both got dressed in their reception outfits and they came out.
The whole family is already Ready and waiting for them. Mithu and Shiva sighed see that.
They got in the car and went to the reception hall. They couldn't even speak as varshu ans shruthi are sitting either side of them.
They reached the venue and they were taken to the stage.
"eppo da namaku konjam time kudupanga" mithu whispered in shiva's ears.
"romba crowd illa soon veetuku poiralam nu nenaikuren" shiva whispered back posing to the cameraman.
Shiva's friend came to the stage and wished them. Jagan went to mithu ans asked... "mithu thangachi enga shiva va batrama pathuko ma..."
"kandipa anna" mithu said with a smile. They took pictures with the couple and went.
"konjam per thaan irukanga we can go home early" mithu said in relief.
"I don't think so" Shiva said.
"what" mithu asked looking at him.
"anga paaru" Shiva said pointing the entrance.
"aiyoo" mithu saw people coming one by one. The moment they think it's over new set of people will join them. Mithu's legs started aching as she was wearing heels.
"mudila Shiva kaal valikudu" mithu said.
"it's almost done di" Shiva said. At last mithu's Amma took the couple to have dinner. When the reached home after finishing the reception it was 11. Pm. Mithu didn't cry as she knew she can meet her family anytime she want.
Mithu and Shiva were walking to their room in thought of taking rest but nadakadula...
"mithu ma nee varshu shruthi room ku po naa ippo varen" anandhi said.
"eduku aththa" she asked loudly. Anandhi came to her and said " shanthi muhurtham ku ready Panna thaan ma"
She didn't even give time to respond. She took mithu to the room and asked her to take shower handing her the clothes.
Mithu really needed one shower so she didn't say anything and went to have one.
The moment she stepped out after taking shower she was dolled up by her aththa for the shanthi muhurtham. Mithu was trying hard to keep her eyes open.
Atlast they send her to Shiva's room after telling her some instructions.
But they don't know they have crossed this situation long back 🙄.
Mithu went to Shiva room and closed it. She saw Shiva sitting on the bed with tracks and t-shirt.
"romba naazh wait pannen indha naazh ku Ana sathiyama mudila di, thoongalama" Shiva asked. Mithu placed the milk glass on the nightstand and hugged him to her chest.
She kissed him all over his face and said "naane idhan solla Vanden. Kaala laam kazhandu vizhura mathiri iruku."
"OK di seekram vandu thoongu. Unaku already oru night dress eduthu vachuruken dressing table la Ada change panitu thoongu. Comfortable illana light off panitu change pannu" Shiva said and lied on the bed.
Mithu turned of the lights and changed her clothes and went to bed.
Next morning
7.am
Shiva woke up first when he felt something heavy on his. He looked at his wife who is hugging him to sleep like a baby. He placed a kiss on her forehead. Her lips stretched into a smile. He hugged her tightly lifting her to his level. He buried his face in her neck inhaling her sweet scent and slept hugging her.
"mithu Maa Shiva endringa time aachu" anandhi tried to wake the newly married my knocking on the door.
Shiva made mithu sleep on the pillow and went to open the door.
"Shiva endrichutiya pa. Mithu enga" Anandhi asked.
"Amma ava nethu function tired la thoongitu iruka" Shiva said rubbing his eyes.
"Un mamanar kooptar da inaiku oru 11am Inga iruku Chennai kezhambanuma unaku tickets visa la vandirucham so seekram kezhmabu mithu VA ezhupu" Anandhi handed two cups of coffee in Shiva hands and went.
He closed the door and went to his sleeping wife. She was sleeping like a baby with the new thaali dangling around her neck. Shiva gently caressed her hair. He placed a kiss on her forehead.
" mithu time aachu endri" Shiva tried to wake her up.
"5 minutes please" mithu pleaded in her sleepy voice and continued sleeping.
"mithu endri di..." Shiva tried waking her up for sometime when a his efforts went in vain. He started tickling her.
"dei viduda ... Aii Amma OK ok ezhunburen" mithu said and got out of the bed.
"yen da" mithu asked. Shiva pulled her to him and said.. "London ku inaiku 4pm flight so 11am Chennai kezhambanum nu Unga appa sonnar adan"
She hugged him and looked at his face. "enna di" he asked.
"I love you" mithu said and kissed on his cheeks.
"mmhmm" he replied.

They were having breakfast. Mithu tried to move close to Shiva but a paatu came and stood in the space between the two chairs.
Mithu looked at the paati and Shiva with pout..
Sapdu di... Shiva muttered with a smile. She wanted to make these anu and keethi jealous but someone is ruining her plans.
Shiva had his breakfast and looked at his wife who is eating sincerely enjoying every bit of it. This is the reason he loves her a lot no filters she is just pure....
She is done with her food and looked at her husband looking at her lovingly. This made her blush profusely. She got up from the table and went wash her hand in the temporary setup made for the guests to wash their hands in the backyard. Shiva followed her like a lost puppy.
Mithu washed her hand and turned. She got frightened to see Shiva standing just an inch away from her.

Mithu took some water in a jug and poured on his hand. He washed his hand. Mithu was about to leave. He grabbed her shawl and started wiping his hands in that.

When they went to the hall. There they saw vigneshewaran.

Around 10. 45 am everyone from mithu's family and shiva's family traveled to chennai.
All the way everyone was talking. They didn't give chance to shiva and mithu to talk.
Finally they reached Chennai International Airport. Shiva helped vigneshewaran to unload the bags.

Everyone bid their bye to mithu's parents, rachel ryan and shiva.

Just to find her sleeping resting her head on the head rest with her mouth slightly open.
