Yae Miko ordered like clock work as the staff hurried to the next scene
" oh well...you are up now" Childe pointed at your script, snapping you out of your inner thoughts
" right..." you looked at Yae Miko who made eye contact with you
" okay okay, [y/n] and Albedo up here" Yae Miko tapped her pen on the board like a signal
You took another inhale, adjusting your fake bag strap before leaving a standing Childe. Before you reached your mark, you felt someone else tap your shoulder
" Good luck! Fighting!" Lumine attempts to soothe and lighten the mood made you smile at her efforts as you walked over to the set
" rolling!" The camera counted down as you began to cut into character
All the staff observed you intently
" sorry I'm late" you pulled out a chair and sat down hurriedly
" no don't be." Albedo just sat there, drinking his beverage
Your fingers tap on your bag as he didn't say a word. And your Que was to start a awkward conversation

Before you continued you heard a ringing sound and looked at the camera
" who has there phone out!??" Yae Miko instinctively turned around, observing everyone's action
" sorry lady Miko" someone spoke up as Yae Miko stared daggers into their skin
" we don't need any more mistakes, we are already behind schedule..looks like everyone is working overtime!" Yae Miko reported as almost everyone groaned at the command
" just great. [y/n] you okay?" Albedo's tone showed frustration but his expression showed a neutral smile as he stared at you
" yeah just fine. You know there's so many interruptions" you agree, the tiredness starting to show in your eyes
" ...water please!" Albedo raised his hand to a nearby trainee
" okay!" The trainee delivered the beverage as quickly as they could, earning a thanks from the actor himself
" here you go" Albedo gave as you couldn't refuse the drink, taking the bottle and drinking it furiously
" thank god we are scheduled for 2:30 pm tomorrow" you smile as Albedo sighed, " more sleeping time but more time taken out of sleeping time at the same time" Albedo, repeated time, mixed agreements on the topic
" okay let's do it again" Yae Miko whispered to the camera man as he gave his signature thumbs up
" rolling and... Action!"

You walk out the set with a cap on your head in attempts to conceal your identity, you saw Thoma waiting outside your car
" Thoma!" You smiled upon seeing the man, you looked too tired to function
" [y/n]! How are you holding up? You looked like you worked overtime" Thoma looked at his watch then at you
" well yeah...but I still have a little more energy" you gave a pinched hand to Thoma
" well...I called Beidou and she asked if you had energy to meet at a...bar? Perhaps..? They do have karaoke" Thoma offered, giving you a teasing and cheeky smile
" you know me too well.. tell Beidou I'm coming!" You gave permission without hesitation as Thoma gave a whole heartedly laugh, before opening the car door for you
You collapse in your seat as Thoma quickly gets into the drivers seat
" hopefully you won't drink though" Thoma mentioned a consequence of going out as you stare at him for a while
" sure" you give an unsure and mixed response as Thoma had a smile
" ...you know it's amazing how this studio has a parking area that is secluded from fans. That way we can have 1 minute conversations" Thoma joked just as you concurred, " right? Sometimes I need that time" you stretched and slumped on your car seat
" well buckle up" Thoma gestured as he pulled on the seat belt, giving you a smile

" THERE'S MY FAVOURITE GIRL!" Beidou obnoxiously yelled, waving a bottle of beer at you as you arrived at the VIP karaoke room
You were hit with the scent of drinks as Thoma accompanied you from behind
" I see you invited the others" you refer to the other actors in the room who were singing as Beidou sheepishly gives you a smirk
" well i have connections...come and sit!" Beidou beckoned you to come over as you followed
" so...how was it?" Beidou hit you with the questions as you spoke no words
" wait- before you say anything, have a drink" Beidou halted you as she added some drinks to your side
" oh I don't think she should-"
" don't worry Thoma it takes a long time for [y/n] to get drunk." Beidou tried to add some fun to the night
" well I do need the sleep" you took the drink in your hands
" you have a shoot tomorrow" Thoma patted your shoulder to somehow stop you
You didn't listen and drank it in one big sip, ignoring Thoma's objections , a burning sensation flowing down your throat as an aftertaste
" well go on" Beidou, waved her hands, pushing you to tell her everything
" ...well god do I have a story to tell you" you face Beidou as she nods, head on her arms
" hit me" Beidou used a hyperbole at you as you excitedly told her, Thoma sitting next to you worried
" well first off! the first shoot today was so tiring...seriously everything went wrong, like birds, planes, spills and phones, the list goes on" you numbered out with your fingers, counting the problems to Beidou
" well how was the auditioning?" Beidou mentioned as you suddenly remembered
" oh right!! Auditions was fine until I found out who was auditioning" you averted Beidou's gaze
" well who? Surely it wasn't bad" Beidou looked at you then at Thoma as he shook his head
" well first of all...you know Childe?" You whisper the name to Beidou as she perks her head at you
" what?" Beidou almost yelled as the actors in the room were talking a bit too loudly
" Childe!" You yell directly in Beidou's ear
" oh yeah! What about him?" Beidou continued drinking her liquor as you composed your words
" well...he got the main lead" you report as Beidou almost spat out her drink in your face
" what?!?" Beidou, quickly gulped the liquid in her mouth, coughing harshly from the reflex
" yeah...crazy right?" You laugh a little as Thoma stares at you more worriedly
" well you must be...what's the word? Something more than angry" Beidou made up, patting your back like an aunt would
" well yeah...he doesn't even remember we went to the same high school...well he didn't mention it" you further elaborated as Beidou poured another shot and slid it to you
" drink up" she pressured as Thoma placed his hand on the drink as quickly as he could
" Thoma- what are you doing?" You stare at him, wanting another drink
" you have a shoot tomorrow" Thoma reminded once more to you
You looked around, seeing how every actor was on the verge of passing out
" don't worry about it" you gave a smile and gently place Thoma's hand off the drink
" ..." Thoma didn't comment but watched as you took another shot, frowning at your drunken actions
" well Thoma! Care for a drink?" Beidou raised her glass at Thoma as you digested the drink in your system
" no thank you" Thoma quickly declined as he had to take you home afterwards
" well then" Beidou then averted her attention on you
" please continue" she motioned to you

" he just doesn't look like a good person! You know?" You vent to a pink Beidou, taking looks at Thoma in hopes he would agree
Your words got more slurred by the minute, your thoughts scattered everywhere as you took more shots after Thoma gave up on convincing you
" what time is it?" You tried to stare at Thoma's watch as he gets an idea
" well it's time to get home!" Thoma stood up as soon as possible, trying to lift you up, grabbing your wrist
" okay" you mumbled, tired out of your mind, not arguing back as Beidou waved back and forth at you
" Bye!" Beidou slurred, not caring as she hiccuped in the process as you waved back, Thoma trying to drag you outside
Opening the door, Thoma felt you wrap a hand on his shoulder as you two struggled to stumble out the purple lighted room that was filled with cheers and terrible singers
As you blinked to make sense of your situation and stay awake, you saw two oddly familiar figures chatting as they walked in your direction
" as I was saying Zhongli, it would be fun to lighten up a while -"
Your gazed went downwards at their feet as the two figures stop upon seeing you and Thoma
Feeling Thoma's nervousness you looked up hastily, squinting your eyes as you recognised the figures before you, one being Childe and another being Zhongli!?!??
" uh...hello" Zhongli coughed as Thoma awkwardly faked a laugh, seeing Childe there too
