"You too, Mr Winters."

Kenny was surprised as his own feet hadn't left the ground and he hadn't broken any rules as far as he knew.

He shrugged and followed Mcgonagall, next to Potter.

Kenny was rather relaxed, confident that he didn't break any rules and that he could either talk his way out of whatever this was about or use magic if needed.

Potter was not relaxed. At all. He was staring wide-eyed at the floor and trembled slightly in Mcgonagall's wake.

She led the pair to, what they recognised as, Flitwick's classroom.

"I'll deal with you first, Mr Potter."

She chapped the open door and spoke when Flitwick paused his lecture.

"Excuse me professor Flitwick, may I borrow Wood for a moment?"

Flitwick nodded and a few moments later, a tall burly student came out to meet the group.

He eyed the two first years, curious at the presence of the slytherin. He most likely thought that the pair had fought or argued and that Mcgonagall thought he was involved somehow.

"Follow me, you three."

She led the group to an empty classroom but stopped before entering.

"Mr Winters, please wait outside while I speak to these two."

Kenny nodded and landed against the wall as Potter and Wood followed Mcgonagall inside.

Once the door was closed he saw little harm in eavesdropping. Though weak, he thought up a hard-to-detect 1st tier spell.

"Rabbit ears."

Though his ears did not change shape, he was able to hear what was happening inside the room.

As soon as the spell activated, he heard Mcgonagall yelling, though not at either of the boys that she entered with.

"Out, Peeves!"

There was the sound of something small hitting something metal, then something came flying out through the door.

The door did not open, the entity flew through quite unobstructed.

At first Kenny thought it was one of the Hogwarts ghosts, he soon identified it as a poltergeist.

It turned to him.

"Oooooohhhhh, another little, ickle firstie~. What fun!"

"Paralysis."

The poltergeist became limp in the air and drifted uncontrollably in the last direction it was moving. Which happened to be towards Kenny.

He knew he couldn't physically touch it without an appropriate enchantment or spell. Luckily, he knew a few useful ones.

"Shock wave."

A powerful blast of air that shifted all the dust in the corridor, sent the poltergeist shooting into a wall, which it went through and likely out to the otherside of the castle.

Kenny turned his attention back to Mcgonagall's conversation with the boys.

As he was caught up with Peeves, he missed the first half of the conversation.

He was surprised to hear that the usually strict teacher sounded elated.

"--Charlie Weasley couldn't have done it!"

He heard a new voice that he expected belonged to that 5th year boy, Wood.

"Ever seen a game of quidditch, Potter?"

"Wood's captain of the gryffindor team."

Kenny became uninterested when he realised the conversation was just about quidditch.

He had hoped he could at least gain an idea of how this school handled punishment.

After all, if the school was as old fashioned as it seemed, even if you disregard the castle, then it wouldn't be beyond the realm of possibility for the school to utilise corporal punishment.

He dispelled his auditory enhancing magic and waited for Mcgonagall to return.

After another minute or two she did just that, sending both other boys back to their classes as madam Hooch would most likely have returned.

"Now Mr Winters, sorry for the wait. Please follow me."

She led him a long way through the castle, stopping at a wall under a slight archway with two gargoyles on either side.

One spoke.

"Password?"

Mcgonagall grew a disapproving and exasperated look. A look that she seemed to use often.

"Sherbet lemon."

The wall faded and a spiral staircase was revealed to the pair who quickly ascended.

They came to a stop in front of a large wooden door. Once more Mcgonagall chapped the door.

"Who is it."

Kenny recognised the voice as the headmaster's from the speech he gave at the welcome feast. If you could call it a speech.

"Minerva, I've brought Mr Winters."

"Come in."

Mcgonagall opened the door and held it for Kenny to walk through.

She was about to enter further into the room when she saw Peeves in the room looking as though he was sleeping in the air. He was unmoving aside from a slight drift in the air.

"Thank you, Minerva. I've got it from here."

She nodded and backed out the door before turning and descending the steps.

Kenny watched her leave and was lightly surprised when the door closed on it's own.

He turned back to Dumbledore.

'Wizards these days seem to enjoy wasting MP.'

"Take a seat, Kenny."

Dumbledore sat opposite Kenny at a massive desk.

"Kenny, do you know why I've sent for you?"

"I do."

His eyes drifted over to the ill poltergeist. Before he realised that he had been sent for before he even met the poltergeist.

'Crap. Why did I say that?'

"It was a rather curious thing. I was sitting in the hospital wing, chatting with Poppy. You won't have met her yet, that's madam Pomfrey, the nurse."

"She seemed irritable for some reason so I decided to part before she lost her temper. Only when I opened the door, I was met with madam Hooch grasping young Neville who looked a little worse for wear."

"She explained what happened and how you saved, young Neville from serious injury. Magic beyond what a first year should be capable of."

"After I had professor Mcgonagall call for you, I waited in my office. When, staggeringly, Sir Nocholas, The gryffindors ghost, came gliding in shoving an unmoving Peeves."

He eyed Kenny with suspicion.

"This isn't the first time I've had a reason to be suspicious of you."

He eyed Kenny warily. Before his eyes turned to Kenny's hands. Usually a first year would be figiting or have their hands in their pockets.

Kenny's lay neatly interlocked in his lap.

"Those rings you're wearing, they seem to have been enchanted."

Kenny had cleverly left the ring of Ainz Ooal Gown in his inventory after he learned of the cults using his symbol as their own.

However he couldn't risk allowing others to see his immense MP when he didn't know enough about the world. After all, knowledge is power.

"Yes, they were in the vault that my father left to me. I believe he was trying to protect me."

A lie.

"May I ask you why the sorting hat reacted the way it did when you wore it."

"Perhaps it had trouble determining where I should go. I'm told I'm a little...complex for my age."

'Jeez, that sounded arrogant.'

Dumbledore just stared for a moment.

"When I look into your eyes, Kenny, when I hear the way you talk and the words you say, I feel as though you have lived several lifetimes. Your maturity and attitude is strange for one as young as you are."

"I'll take that as a compliment, Professor."

Dumbledore once again just stared. It felt like a heated battle was raging through mere words alone.

But Kenny, back when he was Ainz, studied kingcraft in order to appear more believable in his performance as an absolute ruler.

There was no way he would lose to Dumbledore.

Neither broke their tense eye contact until Dumbledore turned to the poltergeist.

"Answer honestly, Kenny. Did you do this to Peeves?"

This was a conundrum. Should he continue to hide his ability? It's not like admitting it would reveal absolutely everything. Nor should Dumbledore be suspicious of Kenny's identity even if he's suspicious of his power.

On the other hand, Dumbledore is already suspicious enough. No need to fan the flame any further. It could become detrimental if the headmaster of his own school was too wary of him.

But he was Ainz Ooal Gown. He was smart enough to use anonymity when necessary and show off his strength when necessary.

Hiding for too long wouldn't gain him much if he is going to be suspicious anyway.

"I did. He ambushed me when Mcgonagall was busy with Potter."

"I see. Can you dispel it?"

Kenny looked to Peeves and drew his wand, giving it a light wave.

He was smart enough not to say the spell out loud again. In YGGDRASIL announcing the spell wasn't required but players did it anyway to warn allies of what you were doing.

It seemed it was a habit as he had done it back when he saved Longbottom and when he got rid of Peeves though that wasn't an issue as no one was around to hear it.

After Kenny dispelled the paralysis, Peeves stopped drifting and corrected himself to fly properly.

He backed away from Kenny who had drifted close to and dashed behind Dumbledore as though for protection.

Dumbledore looked at Peeves unamused before turning back.

"That was all, Kenny. I suggest you return to whatevertime is left in your class, though I won't hold it against you if you decide to take a detour until class ends. It's almost dinner time."

Kenny smiled at Dumbledore and stood up.

He turned on his heel and marched gracefully our of the office.

As suggested, he took the long way around and arrived at the hospital wing just before class before class ended.

"Hello Neville."

Back in Dumbledore's office dumbledore was laying back in his chair, his eyes closed and his thoughts racing.

As soon as Kenny left and the door shut, he let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.

That boy was something else. Such am immense pressure from a mere conversation.

With proper training, that boy may surpass him. Even help in the battle against the rising dark lord.

Only time will tell.
