Okay so I've seen many people always hating on kazutora for his past mistakes, but when you think about it...it all has to do with his past trauma.
For example baji almost killing kazutora because kisaki told him it was all bajis fault. Well I think kazutora slightly didn't think much of it at first butter when he went home and was laying in his bed, he thought all about it. He probably had thoughts going in his head of baji.
"Maybe he really isn't my friend"
"Maybe he's using me like him"
"Was this all a lie?"
"Hes probably a spy for toman, there's no way baji would care that much about me"
Ect...
He definitely overthinked the whole night and only got two hours of sleep that night. He probably went back to kisaki and told him he would kill baji or whatever.
Kazutora has mental issues badly. He was forced to watch his mom be beaten and hurt by his father for years on end. The only escape he had from his hell of a life was his so called friends who litterally betrayed him and then beat him up years later during 9th generation black dragons. Kazutora never had a real birthday party (I'm guessing) the only real birthday he felt welcomed to was his 11th with baji, I would guess.
For once, he was treated like a human and not a mistake or monster. He felt loved for once, he felt like this is where his real home was. Baji was kazutoras only friend at the time. So of course Kazutora would've wanted revenge for making him feel happy for once (kinda like izana and shinichiro yknow).
He even felt bad for his mistakes. He stayed with baji and took the blame for everything. I really wish he would have told mikey when he got out of prison that Kisaki manipulated him. Of course kazutora would of course still say it was his fault as he shouldn't have listened to kisaki, because baji would never hurt kazutora.
Last night at like 1 am I was reading the new chapters of baji and chifuyus spin off. Kazutora is talked about a few times in very sad and serious way.

I'm pretty sure you can see what I mean by Baji would never hurt kazutora.
I think that baji knew about kazutora and his life issues with his parents and everything. Baji just knew something was up with kazutora ever since they met. The way he just talks to kazutora is insane. He talks nicely to him like he knows he's hurting inside.
And did you guys see what baji said to kazutora when they killed shinichiro? Shit had me crying not even gonna fucking lie.
There's also some manga panels that make me cry so much it stupid.
Baji said things indicating, he wanted a gang who doesn't fight for fun but. Aging who fights for their friends who need help or are in trouble.

But in the timelines of Mikey (after baji died) toman wasn't even achieving its purpose anymore. They weren't achieving what baji truly wanted, a gang full of people who will help eachother no matter what. Yet toman just murdered people for fun, and turned into a whole ass mafia for no reason at all.
Ok so remember when I said that I think baji knew about kazutoras mental health and stuff, well this is one reason why I think that.
As you can see the cops where pinning kazutora down because of what he was saying, baji turned to kazutora and had a worried look on his face. Baji knew kazutora was never in the right mind. The first panel I showed reminds me of this. Baji wanted to save kazutora badly. He wanted to help him through all those shitty memories he had throughout childhood, baji probably wanted to replace them with new ones, good ones.
Bajis whole damn heart was built by toman and its founding members. Bro did all that shit for toman but sadly it really didn't end well when you think about it.
I mean Mikey became even worse then before, killing all tomans admins, then even committing suicide throughout various timelines and it was just a lot of chaos that could have been easily avoided.
Baji litterally meant he would always stick with Kazutora no matter what horrible things happened to them through the way of their friendship. Even though Kazutora accidentally killed Shinichiro, someone who baji looked up to as a kid, baji forgave kazutora as he knew kazutora didn't mean to do it at all.
It's always been like this. Kazutora and baji, always together since the day they met. Best friends, yknow? Maybe you could say a Ying and yang dou in a sense?
Kazutora also said something like this while they broke into shinichiros shop.

"No matter what, you always go ahead and do what I do"
Baji sees the issues kazutora has had and tries to save him no matter if it's a life or death situation.
Kazutora even took the blame for Bajis death, and stuck with his corpse until the cops arrived. Kazutora shredded tears the whole time and even said he was happy about chifuyu forgiving him (pre-blackdragon arc)(episode 1 season two)
I also still don't know why anyone would hate kazutora as he did have a really rough childhood and wasn't treated like he should have.
He never even celebrated his birthday until he turned 11, when he committed arson with baji and beaten his so called 'friend' at the time.
Also did I say toman was litterally created cause of kazutora being beaten up by the 9th black dragons? Oh well, it was.
