3rd persons POV
"Miss? Are you alright?"
Y/n hurriedly got to her feet, "Ah! I'm so sorry! Are you hurt?"
The man began to speak, eventually glancing at Y/n, "Ah yes, thanks for your concern, miss... How about you? Are you alright?"
"Ah, yes, thank you for asking," Y/n replied
Y/n then glanced at the already spilled coffee at the side and began to speak, "Oh shit, you're coffee.." grabbing a tissue, she cleaned up the mess, picked up the cup, and put it in the nearest garbage. "I'm so sorry about the coffee... I'll give you a new one, my treat. Well, if that's okay with you." Y/n said, "Well if you insist. But judging by your run earlier, aren't you late for work?" The man questioned the girl
"Ah, don't worry about it," Y/n said, now having a shy smile spread over her lips while walking with the man to a cafe. Minutes after buying the said coffee, she saw a guy with bicolored hair of black and white talking to the guy she bumped into.
Y/n furrowed her eyebrows. Ignoring the questions she had in mind, she approached the man she bumped into.
"Uh, mister? Here's the coffee I promised. I'm so sorry again about earlier." The woman smiled at the man, leaving with a nervous laugh on her lips. "Ah, thank you. It's alright. It's both our fault for bumping into each other." the man returned the smile while grabbing his new coffee.
"Who's the lovely gal here Senku-chan?" The bicolored male spoke, eyeing the female.
"Beats me," Senku said shrugging "Just some girl who ran into me," Senku continued sipping his new coffee.
"Wait.. Senku? Have I heard that name before..?" The h/c haired woman spoke thinking deeply until it hit her, "Ishigami Senku?! As in the person who revived civilization from scratch?!" The girl pointed her index finger to the green-tip-haired man.
Senku gave the girl a small chuckle and a nod.
"It's a pleasure meeting you Mr. Ishigami!" With her eyes still wide, overjoyed with her discovery she turned to the bi-colored male and pointed at him. "Asagiri Gen! One of the Five Wise Commanders right?!" Y/n beamed smiling, "In the flesh~" Gen replied with a wink.
Y/n stared at the two with stars in her eyes. 'This is so cool!'
What felt like minutes for the h/c-haired woman. But believe it or not, turns out it's already been hours since she let her excitement out. Completely forgetting about her job at the hospital. How silly of her, this is why her brothers sometimes use this and avoid her becoming distracted with things since she occasionally forgets her original plans. Well mostly.
"Say, miss. Is it alright if we know your name?" Gen asked, to which Y/n gladly replied with a bow. "Ah, my name's Y/n L/n. It's a pleasure to meet you Ishigami-san, Asagiri-san."
"Y/n L/n? Are you that famous neurosurgeon at Pearl River Hospital?" Senku questioned, taking a sip of his coffee.
"Oh, I didn't know I was famous here," Y/n said, looking up and laughing a bit.
"You didn't know that..?" Gen asked in a surprised tone. "I only go to the hospital early in the morning, then after my shift, I go home immediately so... no?" Y/n replied giving the two males an awkward smile. "Haven't you like I don't know, heard your name on TV or something??" Gen questioned again.
"Oh no, I sleep right after my 19-hour shift, sometimes I do all-nighters. So I don't know what's going on around me anymore," Y/n replied laughing softly this time.
'This girl sure is a workaholic to the core...' Gen thought to himself sweatdropping.
"Take a break when you can! Not like a robot who works at all hours!" Gen implied
Then suddenly an Idea came into his mind "How about this, this Sunday, come here to this exact cafe, let's wander! And of course, Comrade Senku's gonna come!" Gen said as he put his arm around Senku "I'll even invite some of our other friends!" Gen said looking at the woman in front of him with excitement.
"Huh?!" Both Y/n and Senku exclaimed, "Then I'll pay again like last time? Hah! No thanks. And for the love of sulfur, let me go." Senku said while trying to remove Gen's arm from his neck. "Aww c'mon! And don't worry, It'll be on me this time I promise!" Gen pleads with both of his hands together.
"I'll treat you to ramen after."
"..."
Unsatisfied with his friend's quietness, Gen turned his head to Y/n "How about you, Y/n?"
'hmm, it sure has been a long time since I hung out with somebody.. but..' Y/n thought.
With Gen still happily chatting with his newfound friend, Senku on the other hand was looking at her. His eyes focused on her and her figure.
Something was intriguing and mysterious about her that he couldn't quite put his finger on. But he was drawn to more than simply her outward appearance. She was more than just physically attractive; there was a depth and complexity about her. She seemed to have a distinct outlook on life, not to mention, that her academic achievements were certainly impressive if he still remembers the news years ago, which he found both intriguing and fascinating. It was this unquantifiable characteristic that piqued his interest and made him want to find out more. He couldn't help but feel that there was something more fundamental and deeper within her. That's only a thought, though.
"I'm sorry, but I have to decline.." Y/n replied looking at the ground.
Hearing this made Gen kind of sad with the answer, and on the other hand, Senku lost his thoughts and was replaced by a new one. Who would decline a famous person's offer who wants to hang out with you? Anybody would say 'yes' immediately, however, in the end. They remain strangers to her.
"Ah, work-related I suppose?" Gen said while grabbing his phone from his pockets. "Yes, my schedule is a bit tight..." Y/n spoke, looking at the side while scratching her cheek.
Senku just hums, taking a sip of his coffee. At the same time, Gen was seen pressing a button on his phone case. Then a card that had handwritten numbers came out.
"If that's the case, then here." Gen said handing her the card, "I enjoyed your company so much, Y/n! Here are both our numbers. We would love to talk to you again sometime, and I believe that our buddies would like to get to know our new pal!" Gen said winking at the woman.
The woman was too stunned to speak as she held the card as if her dear life depended on it. Senku also was shocked by what Gen had done since his number was also there. But then just shrugged it off, I mean, if there is a chance. Who knows? Maybe this Y/n might even help him with some experiments,
Still stunned by the bicolored-haired man's actions, she looked down at her watch and realized. She was certainly late.
"Oh, I am late.. Very late" The woman panicked, packing her things up in her bag. "U-uhm, I better get going! It was nice meeting both of you!" Y/n continued with a smile before running off to the hospital.
While the figure of the woman was fading away, Gen suddenly spoke "Well, Isn't she a cutie, right Senku-chan?" The said man began to look at his friend just to see a grinning smile on Gen's face.
Senku gave Gen a deadpan look, flung his just-consumed coffee in his face, kept his hands in his pockets, and walked away.
"ITAI! THAT HURTS! YOU'RE STILL MEAN AFTER ALL THESE YEARS!" Gen yelled having his right hand on his forehead while the other holding the crushed coffee cup.\
While Senku chuckled. The thought occurred to him, 'This Y/n individual is intriguing, ten billion percent.'
From the other perspective, Y/n was seen fast walking to the elevator, upon entering the elevator, she tapped her foot like she did regularly then looked at her watch,
'Akahana-san will surely yell at me...' Y/n spoke while an imaginary sweat dropped can be seen to her head. After the elevator had gone up to the third floor, she was now running to room 305. Entering the room she sighed heavily in relief to see no one was there but herself. That was until a voice was heard which made her shriek.
"Now, where were you and why are you late?" Akahana yelled making Y/n's spine turn into liquid.
Y/n couldn't help but cry softly because of the aura that Akahana was giving off.
"I'm so sorry Akahana-san!" Y/n bowed again and again.
Finally standing up, she began to speak again then smiled "I just had a little chat with some new friends!"
