iris had just got off the phone with her team who confirmed that her album could basically be ready whenever she felt happy with the songs and the amount of songs on it
the excitement had finally set in and iris had a huge smile on her face. not only would she be meeting matt and his brothers she would also get to do shows almost every night which is something she had missed deeply since the few shows she did here and there considering she was only 15 when she released minor so she couldnt do a full tour
she ran down the stairs to find her dad knowing he would be excited for her
she walked into the kitchen where harry was sat on the island on his phone presumably answering texts or emails
"guess what" iris said with a smile on her face as she rounded the island to face her dad
"what ri" harry said looking at his daughter trying to figure out what she was going to say, he didnt get very much other than the fact she was very happy about it
"im going on tour" she says simply "oh thats fun ri! where?" harry asks wondering whether she is doing a small tour or a big one
"ermmm america" iris said smiling at her dad like she knew he was about to get suspicious
"why america?" harry questioned figuring she wouldve started smaller with a europe one before travelling across the world
"erm because technically it isnt my tour its actually the triplets tour and im just going on tour with them to play everynight" iris said smiling still hoping her dad would understand and not get mad
"ri why are u smiling like that i dont mind where you tour or who u are with just as long as your safe and smart about it i dont mind" harry said laughing at his daughters expression
"i love you, i gotta go tell george now" iris sighed as she rounded to island again to hug harry
"okay ri im here if u need me" harry smiled softly hugging her knowing that telling her twin who she had practically spent everyday with since they were born that she was going away for a few months was probably going to be sad for the both of them
"hi george" iris said softly as she walked over to his bed which he was lying on and flopped onto it with milo following behind her "hi ri whats up" he replied putting his phone down on his bed giving his sister his full attention knowing she hates it when people speak but are on their phones and not fully engaged with the conversation
"im going on tour" iris announced whilst petting milo, deciding it would be easier to just say it instead of tip toeing around it
"thats exciting ri why do u look sad" he said with furrowed eyebrows "because its in america and im probably going to be gone for like three months which is the longest ive been from you and ill miss you" iris sighed trying not to get upset and trying to remember that this is an opportunity she needs to take to grow
"oh, that will suck but its only three months and i might be able to see u at one of the shows, why is it in america?" he asked curiously "because im going with the triplets" iris said with a smile on her face knowing that her brother knew her liking towards a certain triplet
"SEE. now u get to meet matttttt" he said hugging her whilst laughing "shut up dickhead" she laughed back hugging him before sighing taking in the peace and the arms of her brother which may just be her favourite person on the planet
"it will be okay ri dont worry" george said reassuringly "i love you" iris whispered to her brother not wanting to break the moment "i love you too riri" he said back just as lovingly
