The walls barren like some old shack
Hidden from the eye but still there
Were molding and scraping away what was left
But in the end I wondered if anyone would care
They didn't see the walls as they saw the house
Broken and crumbling was only the inside
But the outside was the piece of cake everyone wanted a bite of
No one saw the blood or heard the crying
No one knew the pain deep within a boy
His walls were broken down and dying
No one cared to hear the truth
Aching within a broken body, lost in fear
What came of such a house?
It went down without a fight
The walls crumbled until nothing was left
The house shook and the roof took flight
No one cared to see the damage or ask what happened
No one dared to enter the house anymore
And let the boy's body fall to the floor.
