Y/N's POV:
I woke up next to an empty space in the bed. I got scared that Charles has already left, but it's impossible because...why wouldn't he tell me. I immediately got up from the bed putting his hoodie on. I went to check the living room. He was there putting some things in his backpack.
"Good morning, baby" He gave me a quick smile, he seemed like he's in a bit of a rush
"Good morning, you're leaving already?" I asked going closer
"Yes, I am so sorry...I totally forgot to pack my things last night so I had to do it now and the plane's taking off in two hours so I need to leave in like 10 minutes" He was still putting things in his backpack, looking for something
"Okay, I'll go with you, I-" He interrupted me
"I'll leave you my keys, you can stay here so you don't have to rush" He smiled
"Are you sure? I mean I can go now?" I made sure
"Yeah, totally"
"Well okay" I can leave with him right now but he'd be in even more stress and I don't want that
"Have you got your passport?" I asked because he seemed like he was still thinking about what he has forgot
"That's it! Thank you!" Yeah, it was it, he rushed into his bedroom to look for it, I've stayed in the living room waiting for him
"Now I have everything, hopefully" He has thrown the passport in his backpack "I'm so sorry I haven't made you a nice morning" He got closer and pulled me into a hug
"I'm happy like that" I hugged him as well "I'd be happier if you stayed here with me, but it's for sure, that you have to go" I have hid my face in his neck, I felt comfortable like that
"We're gonna be together in two days" He smiled kissing my forehead
"I know, but still" I gave him a sad smile
"I know baby, I'll miss you too" He kissed me on my lips so gently...
I have hid my face in his hoodie to make sure he doesn't see me cry, I don't know why but i felt like crying. I think it's just all those mixed up feelings that I'm feeling those past few days...
"What's going on baby?" He has lifted up my face so that he could see me
"Nothing, it's nothing" i assured him giving him a small fake smile
"I see that it is not nothing" He knew "what is it?"
"I'll just miss you" I hugged him tightly
"I'll miss you too, but I'll see you in two days and I'll call you every time that I am free okay?" He held me tight giving me a few kisses into my hair
"Okay" I sighed and pulled away
"I gotta leave" He told me not in so happy kind of way "you can stay here, feel free to borrow anything you need, make yourself at home okay?"
"Yeah, I'll definitely steal some pieces from your wardrobe" I chuckled wiping those leftover tears off
"That's not a problem" He smirked
I walked him to the door,
"Have a safe flight" I smiled
"Thank you, I'll let you know when I arrive" He gave me a kiss for the last time "bye"
"Bye" I watched him enter the elevator and leave.
I did as I said, I have borrowed a t-shirt and a Ferrari belt I found in his closet that I am gonna definitely wear for the GP. Then I cleaned up his apartment a bit and after a while I left to go home.
I got home deciding to cook comething. But I got a call. From Charlotte. I picked it up.
"Yeah?" I asked
"Hey, I got amazing new and I gotta tell you like right now, can we meet up?" She seemed so excited
"Oh okay, I just-" Silly me, almost told her I just got home "I'll just dress up, besides I also need to tell you something" I should tell her, like immediately
"Perfect, I'll be waiting by your house in 10, okay?"
"Okay" I agreed hanging up, I put on just some jeans and a shirt not really thinking about it, it's just Cha
I made myself look like a normal person and got out. She was already there.
"Hiii" She has hugged me immediately, there's something going on...and I am scared
"Hi" I put on a fake smile and hugged her as well "where are we going?"
"We can go and have a coffee by the port?" She proposed
"Sounds good to me"
We did as we said, we sat in a cafeteria and she started talking.
"So the news!"
"Go on" I chuckled
"I'm joining you at the GP in Barcelonaaa!" Fuck. She was so fucking excited about it...Well to be honest, I wasn't so, I had to play pretend
"Woow, that's perfect, so you'll travel with me on Thursday?" I asked, because I hope she doesn't so that I have some time for just me and Charles
"Yes! I will, I'm so happy! I've never been there and I've always wanted to" She smiled happily "besides we can be always together and Lando won't be bothering you"
"Isn't it because of Charles, is it?" Fuck I wanted to ask her so bad, but I just couldn't...
"That's so good, yeah" I tried to seem happy, but I definitely wasn't...I was dissapointed.
"So what did you want to tell me?" She asked still smiling, being so positive...I can't do this.
"Oh it was nothing, I forgot anyways" I lied, I need to tell her as soon as possible, but it seems impossible to me to tell her...It would fucking hurt her.
"Oh okay," She chuckled, at the excact moment my phone started ringing, I had it turned around with the screen on the table, so I checked who it was. Charles. What an amazing timing.
"I'm sorry" I told Charlotte while picking it up
She just nodded, understanding. You would've killed me knowing who it is.
"Yeah?" I asked hoping he'd get that I cannot really talk right now
"Hello baby, just wanted to let you know that we've just arrived" He told me kindly "what about you? What are you doing?"
"I'm out right now, with Cha" I said, it felt awkward
"Oh okay, are you going to tell her?" He asked
"No, it's not the best time really..." I tried to give him a little hint, that it really is not.
"I mean, we should do it together anyways...you know it's not just your problem, it's kinda mine as well" He chuckled
I did too "you're right but we should talk about this later, I'm happy you called, thanks"
"Sure, I'm looking forward to see you" I heard him smile, I also heard Carlos mock him in the background "shut up man" Charles chuckled
I giggled "yeah me too, and tell him I say hi"
"I'll, have fun with Charlotte and I'll call you later okay?"
"Okay, bye" I smiled
"Bye" He hang up
"Who was it?" Cha asked
"A friend of mine, from work" I lied "they just arrived in Barcelona"
"Who they?" She asked
"Her, Carlos, Charles and stuff" Lies, there's no 'her'
"Oh okay, I didn't know they already left" She was surprised
"Yeah, this morning for testing" Fuck. I shouldn't tell her this
"How do you know?"
"Because I spoke to Charles in the morning" I sighed, well that's true, but I literally woke up in his bed, I haven't JUST spoken to him
"Oh," She was 'surprised' "aren't you two like talking too much the last few days?"
"We actually are, he helped me a lot to get over the shit Lando did" I smiled nervously "but that's it" No sex, no kissing, no feelings, right?
"I'm so sorry, I know, my stupid ass just can't get over the fact that he's gonna find someone else one day" She has put her face in her hands
"Hey, it's okay, I know..." I tried to make her feel better
That's it for now, the next part is gonna be more interesting..hopefully...Also I am so sorry for updating this late, but I had a pretty rough day hahah I locked myself out of my house and I couldn't get in for like 3 hours, while I had to take care of my little nephew haha
