Open to a brown book, with a gold unicorn with a cyan eye on the cover.

Narrator: "𝓞𝓷𝓬𝓮 𝓾𝓹𝓸𝓷 𝓪 𝓽𝓲𝓶𝓮..."

In the magical land of Equestria, there were two regal sisters who ruled together and created harmony for all the land. To do this, the eldest used her unicorn powers to raise the sun at dawn; the younger brought out the moon to begin the night. Thus, the two sisters maintained balance for their kingdom and their subjects, all the different types of ponies. But as time went on, the younger sister became resentful. The ponies relished and played in the day her elder sister brought forth, but shunned and slept through her beautiful night. One fateful day, the younger unicorn refused to lower the moon to make way for the dawn. The elder sister tried to reason with her, but the bitterness in the young one's heart had transformed her into a wicked mare of darkness. 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐧. She vowed she would shroud the land in eternal night.

She vowed that she would shroud the land in eternal night. Reluctantly, the elder sister harnessed the most powerful magic known to ponydom: the Elements of Harmony. Using the magic of the Elements of Harmony, she defeated her younger sister, and banished her permanently in the moon. The elder sister took on responsibility for both...

Narrator/Unicorn: "...sun and moon..."

It is now possible to see who is reading the book. A light purple unicorn mare, with a dark blue mane and tail with a pink and purple stripe running along their length. She has purple eyes and a cutie mark that is a pink six pointed star with similar smaller white stars surrounding it. She's standing below a small tree by a lake. This is Twilight Sparkle. Princess Celestia's personal student, and the most adorable nerd anypony outside of the screed has seen.

Twilight Sparkle: "...and harmony has been maintained in Equestria for generations since. Hmm... Elements of Harmony. I know I've heard of those before... but where?"

It has been exactly one month since last chapter's events. One month since the new local biped family was welcomed to Ponyville. One month since the groups of humans got sent to a world of colorful magical talking ponies. For those who wanted to get into the episode chapters and skipped the fillers, let me recapitulate.

One month ago, Izuku Midoriya saved Tenko Shimura from his inner demons. They, along with the Midoriya family, Inko, Eri and Kota, were mysteriously sent to a place known as Equestria, ruled by the Princess of the Sun, Celestia. They began a new life in the small town of Ponyville, where they managed to buy the local library as their new home, thanks to Izuku's first job, and also learn the value of the three types of bits this world has. Over the length of the month, the Midoriyas became active members of the community. From helping ponies with their problems, taking on different jobs, and forming friendships with many of the town's residents. They have been studying the books they have in their new home and learning about this world, mostly Izuku.

Also, don't tell Tenko I said this, but he's really glad to be part of a happy and peaceful community. He even smiles every once in a while, and not a deranged smile either, but an honest happy smile. I'm so proud!

Ahem. But let's not beat around the bush anymore. It's time to begin. The real journey starts now. Are you ready? Then let's go.

It's a beautiful day, full of opportunity! Birds are singing, flowers are blooming. The sun is high, shining brightly over the town of Ponyville. Right now, Tenko has just woken up and is heading for the ground floor, where the rest of his housemates are having breakfast. Upon arriving, he was greeted by the energetic unicorn girl, who gave his legs a hug, which he returned with a head pat, and then went back to the table to finish her breakfast. He quickly took notice of the lack of a bush at the table.

Tenko: "Is he out jogging again?"

Inko: "Mhm."

Kota: "Again."

Tenko: "Shouldn't he be getting ready for the guest thing?"

Guest thing? Now what is the ash boi talking about... oh right! A week ago, Mayor Mare requested to talk to the library residents about a matter of great importance. Apparently, the princess is sending her personal student to check the preparations for the Summer Sun Celebration, and she asked if it was alright with the family if said student could stay with them for the night she'd be in town. They agreed, with Tenko not really caring that much, and prepared the fifth room to receive their guest. They cleaned everything from top to bottom yesterday, as to make a good first impression. Izuku was out training, as he does every two days. It would be every day if Eri's puppy eyes didn't convince him to tone it down.

Inko: "I'm sure that by the time our guest arrives, he'll be all ready."

With Izuku, he was walking around town after being done with his workout. His training sessions with Rainbow Dash were put on old to due to the celebration happening tonight. Speaking of which, he was actually a little nervous. This would be the first holiday in a new world, not only that, he would have to accommodate the personal student of the actual ruler of the kingdom he was living in. Lastly, if what every pony was saying is true, then the princess would also attend e festivities, and no doubt she would be curious about the strange creatures living in hr territory. One thing that calmed him down, however, was the fact that since every pony he met so far is really nice to him and his family, so the princess is, hopefully, as nice as her subjects.

Pinkie: "Hi there, Izuku!"

In the middle of his walk, he was confronted by none other than Nejire's love sibling. Still with a smile on her face, as always.

Izuku: "Hey Pinkie. Need something?"

Pinkie: "Nope! Just making sure you and your family are going to be at the celebration. There will be candies, cake, cake, candies, drinks, did I say cake? Also, word on the street is that there will be a pony from Canterlot coming to have fun with us!"

Izuku: "Yes, we'll be there. And the pony you're talking about is probably the same that will be staying with us for the night."

Pinkie: "*GAAAAAAAAAAAASP* REALLY?!"

Izuku: "Yes."

Pinkie: "Ohhh, I can't wait to meet them and make a new friend! I gotta go now, see you later!"

And without giving him time to say goodbye, she was gone. It's moments like these that he wonders if Rainbow Dash is really the fastest pony as she claims to be. He kept walking around, seeing how everypony is happy and excited for the festivity. He kept wondering what this celebration is for. He read some books about Equestria's history, but he didn't see anything that mentioned holidays. Maybe it's under another title that he can check out later.

*SPLAT*

Speaking of checking out... He looked to where that sound came from. It was like something fell on a mud pool. Which exactly what happened, as he saw Rainbow Dash on top of a purple unicorn, both covered in mud. Poor pony got the Rainbow treatment, that being having Rainbow Dash crash onto you at high speeds. Now that he thought about it, he never saw that pony around. Could they be the Princess' student? Rainbow finally decided to get off of the other pony. He watched the interaction from afar, seeing how Rainbow tried to fix the pony by bringing a rain cloud and drenching the unfortunate soul, to then flying around them at high speeds, creating a rainbow tornado. The result was an unamused pony glaring at her, with a mane that could make faint any hairdresser. Seeing the state of the pony, Rainbow couldn't help but laugh hysterically, joined by a small purple dragon. By now, he was close enough to hear the conversation.

Unicorn: "Let me guess. You're Rainbow Dash."

At being recognized, Rainbow shot up from the ground, making the small dragon fly from standing on top of her laughing a second ago.

Rainbow: "The one and only. Why, you heard of me?"

Twilight: "I heard you were supposed to be keeping the sky clear. *sigh* I'm Twilight Sparkle, and the Princess sent me to check on the weather."

Izuku: 'So she's the one who'll be staying with us.'

Rainbow: "Yeah, yeah, that'll be a snap. I'll do it in a jiffy. Just as soon as I'm done practicing."

Twilight: "Practicing for what?"

Rainbow: "The Wonderbolts! They're gonna perform at the Celebration tomorrow, and I'm gonna show 'em my stuff!"

Twilight: "The Wonderbolts?"

Rainbow: "Yep!"

Twilight: "The most talented flyers in all of Equestria?"

Rainbow: "That's them!"

Twilight: "Pfft! Please. They'd never accept a Pegasus who can't even keep the sky clear for one measly day.

Izuku: "*chuckle*"

That got the attention of the two ponies and dragon, who upon seeing him, had mixed reactions. Rainbow was happy to see him, as always, but a little insulted about what Twilight said moments ago to pay him any mind. The little dragon was in awe at the tall creature he was seeing, and only muttered a "woah". Twilight, on the other hoof, had her mouth hanged wide open. She had never seen such a creature, and her inner scientist was demanding to know more. Seeing that they noticed him, he went to them until they could see his full figure which, for some reason, made Twilight blush a tiny bit.

Izuku: "Sorry to interrupt, but I couldn't help but find what you just said funny."

Shaking off her blush, which thankfully none of the currently present noticed, and putting her thoughts of discovery aside, she looked at the creature up and down before responding.

Twilight: "What's so funny about it?"

Rainbow: "That you think I'm not Wonderbolt material. I could clear this sky in ten seconds flat."

Twilight: "Prove it."

One thing you must know about Rainbow Dash is she never backs down from a challenge. And as soon as those words left Twilight's mouth, Rainbow got off the cloud she was laying on and went on a cloud cleaning spree, kicking every cloud until there were no more left. After being done, she landed on the bridge besides the other three.

Rainbow: "Loop-de-loop around, and wham! What'd I say? Ten. Seconds. Flat. I'd never leave Ponyville hanging."

All she got were Izuku's claps and Twilight and the dragon's flabbergasted looks.

Rainbow: "*chuckle* You should see the look on your face. Ha! You're a laugh, Twilight Sparkle. I can't wait to hang out some more. Also, wha'dya think of that, Izuku? Still think you can beat my record?"

Izuku: "Just give me some more time and I'll be a full strength, then we'll see who laughs last."

Rainbow: "Ha! I can't wait for that."

And then she left with a spiral, leaving Twilight to process what just happened, and the dragon to stare in amazement, while Izuku was neutral, already used to the tomboy pony.

Dragon: "Woah, she's amazing!"

He paused for a moment, before laughing lightly at Twilight's mane while bouncing a bit of a loose tuft. Izuku chuckled as well, since he was the same when he saw Rainbow clear the sky for the first time. Twilight gave the purple dragon an unamused look before her eyes landed on the big broccoli besides her.

Twilight: "So that's why you said that."

Izuku: "Yeah. She claims to be the fastest, and she lives up to it. I still can't beat her record at my current best. But anyway, you're Twilight Sparkle, right? The one who was sent by the princess?"

Twilight: "Yes, but how do you know?"

Izuku: "I was close when you introduced yourself o Rainbow Dash, sorry for eavesdropping, by the way. And I'm also one of the residents of the library you'll be staying during the festival."

Twilight: "Wait, what! Celestia didn't mention anything about roommates! Did she, Spike?"

Spike: "Nnnnnope. Don't see anything on the letter."

Twilight: "Ugh, never mind. Well as you already know, I'm Twilight Sparkle, and this is my assistant, Spike."

Spike: "Hey there."

Izuku: "It's nice to meet you both. I'm Izuku Midoriya."

Twilight: "Well, as much as I would love to stay here and talk, we have some stuff we need to get to. Spike, what's next on the list."

Spike: "Decorations. It's supposed to be at the Town Hall."

Izuku: "I know where that is. I can take you there, if you'd like."

Twilight: "Actually, I think we-"

Spike: "-'d be glad if you showed us the way!"

Izuku: "Alright, just follow me."

Without any other choice, Twilight sighed and followed Izuku.

Twilight: "*whisper* Spike, why did you say that? We could've handled it on our own."

Spike: "*whisper* Come on, Twilight. What's wrong with having a guide? I know you, and I know you're also curious about him."

Twilight: "*whisper* Well yes, but- *sigh* I guess a guide will let us finish this sooner."

Cut to the middle of the ground floor of the Town Hall, where Spike is writing on a checklist. The place is decorated with banners, ribbons and streamers, hanging from the ceiling and the balconies, with the center balcony having a big bouquet of flowers.

Spike: "Decorations. Beautiful..."

Twilight: "Yes, the décor is coming along nicely. This ought'a be quick. I'll be at the library in no time. Beautiful indeed."

Spike: "Not the décor, her!"

Izuku, still accompanying the duo, looked to where Spike was looking, and saw the mare who made his and his family's clothes, Rarity. She was looking at a variety of streamers. She grabbed a yellow streamer and put it aside. Then a light blue streamer, which she put aside as well. Then a green, that she put aside too. After that last one, she seemed to find the one she liked. He looked back at Spike, and saw he had hearts in his eyes. He already accepted that this world worked with slight cartoon logic, so this wasn't anything to write home about.

Izuku: "That's Rarity, Ponyville's local fashionista."

Twilight: "Well she's definitely good at it, if the decorations are anything to go by."

Spike: "How are my spines? Are they straight?"

Twilight rolled her eyes and went over to Rarity, who was distracted with her work. Izuku already knew where this was going, as one time she caught him after a training session with Rainbow Dash, and she basically dragged him to get a new haircut.

Twilight: "Good afternoon-"

Rarity: "Just a moment, please. I'm 'in the zone', as it were. Oh, yes! Sparkle always does the trick, does it not? Why, Rarity, you are a talent. Now, um, how can I help yo-"

Rarity jumped with a yell, startled by the appearance of the pony standing in front of her.

Rarity: "Oh my stars, darling! Whatever happened to your coiffure?!"

Twilight: "Oh, you mean my mane? Well, it's a long story. I'm just here to check on the decorations, and then I'll be out of your hair."

Rarity: "Out of my hair? What about your hair?!"

She went behind Twilight and started pushing her outside. Izuku followed, now actually appalled by this world's logic, as he saw Spike float after the two, with hearts still in his eyes, using his tail as a propeller.

Twilight: "Wait! Where are we going?! Help!"

After some more pushing and finally getting Spike to stop floating, they were at Carousel Boutique, with Rarity having Twilight try an assortment of outfits. All of which didn't suit her at all, and some just looked like carnival costumes. Wait, they have the Statue of Liberty here?

Rarity: "No, no, uh-uh. Too green. Too yellow. Too poofy. Not poofy enough. Too frilly. Too... shiny. Now go on, my dear. You were telling me where you're from."

The last outfit was a simple white saddle thing? With a bunch of gems adorning it. Rarity pulled at one of it's ends to tighten it, making Twilight strain under the squeezing pressure.

Izuku: "She was sent from Canterlot to-"

Rarity: "Huh?"

Rarity let go of the piece of fabric that was in her mouth, launching her and Twilight in opposite directions like a slingshot.

Rarity: "Canterlot?! Oh, I am so envious! The glamour, the sophistication! I have always dreamed of living there! I can't wait to hear all about it! We are gonna be the best of friends, you and I... Emeralds?! What was I thinking? Let me get you some rubies!

While Rarity was distracted with finding rubies in her gem collection, Twilight took this chance to rush out of the place. Izuku went to follow, but had to pick up Spike, since he was still standing there, sighing dreamily.

Twilight: "Quick! Before she decides to dye my coat a new color!"

Now they were walking outside to their next destination. Spike still dreaming about Rarity.

Spike: "Wasn't she wonderful?"

Twilight: "Focus, Casanova. What's next on the list?"

Spike: "Ahem. Oh, uh, music! It's the last one!"

Izuku: "I can already tell who's in charge of that."

Twilight: "Really?"

Before he could answer, they hear what sounded like birds singing a beautiful melody. Twilight and Spike were curious, while Izuku just smiled at the sound. They peeked behind a bush where the music was coming from, and saw Fluttershy watching over a group of birds perched on a tree with almost no leaves. One bird, though, was out of tune. Fluttershy interrupted their singing and flew over to the out of tune bird.

Fluttershy: "Oh my. Um, stop please, everyone, umm. Excuse me, sir? I mean no offense, but your rhythm is just a teeny-tiny bit off. Now follow me, please. A-one, a-two, a-one two three-"

Twilight: "Hello!"

Startled, Fluttershy yelped, and the birds flew off. Fluttershy saw the birds leaving, and looked down at the ground and saw Twilight looking at her.

Twilight: "Oh my, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to frighten your birds. I'm just here to check up on the music and it's sounding beautiful.

Fluttershy slowly descended back to the ground and stared off to the side without making a sound. Twilight saw she wasn't gonna say anything and continued, very awkwardly.

Twilight: "I'm Twilight Sparkle."

Fluttershy: "..."

Twilight: "... What's your name?"

[A/M: Before we continue, I just wanna let you all know that this part is always hard for me to watch. Fluttershy is just too cute! And her voice, NGGHHHHH, it almost gives me a heart attack! Also, I may or may not have had to take a break from writing this part because my chest hurt.]

Fluttershy: "ᵁᵐ... ᴵ'ᵐ ᶠˡᵘᵗᵗᵉʳˢʰʸ."

Twilight: "I'm sorry, what was that?"

Fluttershy: "ᵁᵐ... ᴹʸ ⁿᵃᵐᵉ ⁱˢ ᶠˡᵘᵗᵗᵉʳˢʰʸ."

Somehow, she got even quieter, and backed up a bit. Twilight got a bit closer to try and hear what she was saying.

Twilight: "Didn't quite catch that."

Fluttershy: "*incoherent ADORABLE squeaking*"

[A/N: And this is the part I had to take a break. Seriously, if you're reading this, then search the episode or even the clip, and try not to gush at how adorable she is.]

By this time, all the birds had returned. Now it was just the awkward silence that everyone experienced when talking to Fluttershy for the first time.

Twilight: "Well, um, it looks like your birds are back, so I guess everything's in order. Keep up the good work!"

Fluttershy: "*even more incoherent heart clenching squeaking*"

Twilight: "Oookay. Well, that was easy."

As she said that, Spike came out of the bush, and upon seeing the baby dragon, Fluttershy became a completely different pony. He enthusiasm caused some birds to fly off again.

Fluttershy: "*gasp* A baby dragon!"

She rushed at Spike, tackling Twilight out of the way and staring into the little dragon's eyes. Thankfully, Izuku was there to catch the flying unicorn, who just so happened to conveniently land right on his chest, allowing him to easily grab a hold of Twilight to make sure she didn't fall.

Izuku: "Are you okay, Twilight?"

Twilight: "Uhm, I... yes, I'm fine."

She was still a bit dizzy, and didn't realize where she landed. Fluttershy and Spike didn't seem to acknowledge her, as Fluttershy was too focused on Spike, who in turn was to stunned about the sudden interest to move.

Fluttershy: "Oh, I've never seen a baby dragon before. He's sooo cute!"

Spike: "Well, well, well...!"

He looked back at the still dizzy Twilight with a smug expression, then back at Fluttershy.

Fluttershy: "Oh my, he talks. I didn't know dragons could talk. That's just so incredibly wonderful I, I just don't even know what to say!

Spike is then carried by magic to a lightly blushing Twilight, who is still embarrassed by Izuku catching her and holding her to his chest... that and she thought it was comfortable.

Twilight: "Well, in that case we'd better be going."

Fluttershy: "Wait, wait! What's his name?"

Spike: "I'm Spike."

Fluttershy: "Hi Spike, I'm Fluttershy. Wow, a talking dragon! And what do dragons talk about?"

Spike: "Well, what do you wanna know?"

Fluttershy: "Absolutely everything."

Twilight: "*groan*"

Izuku: "*chuckle*"

Spike: "Well... I started out as a cute little purple and green egg..."

After some time passed, the group was almost reaching the library. Fluttershy followed them all the way, listening to Spike tell his life story. Izuku was also listening intently, interested in the life on a dragon raised by ponies. Twilight though, was losing all her patience, like the grumpy episode 1 that she is.

Spike: "...and that's the story of my whole entire life! Well, up until today. Do you wanna hear about today?"

Fluttershy: "Oh, yes, please!"

Before Spike could tell her about today, Twilight turned around quickly, bringing the four to a halt, and facing Fluttershy.

Twilight: "I am so sorry, how did we get here so fast? This is where I'm staying while in Ponyville and my poor baby dragon needs his sleep."

As she said, they were standing in front of the library. That's when Izuku remembered something. He told Pinkie where Twilight was staying. Pinkie also prepared a surprise party for him and the rest. Yep, he knew exactly what was waiting behind that door. He wasn't paying attention  the conversation, only focusing back when he saw Fluttershy carrying Spike inside, something about going to bed. He followed Twilight, who quickly got in after Fluttershy, and pushed her outside.

Twilight: "Yes, yes, we'll get right on that. Well, g'night!"

She slammed the door and turned to Spike, still not noticing how the lights were turned off.

Spike: "Huh. Rude much?"

Twilight: "Sorry, Spike, but I have to convince the Princess that Nightmare Moon is coming, and we're running out of time! I just need to be alone so I can study without a bunch of crazy ponies trying to make friends all the time. Now, where's the light?"

At that very moment, the lights turned on, revealing almost all of Ponyville standing around the pony and dragon duo. Needless to say, they were very surprised.

Everypony: "SURPRISE!"

Twilight: "*groan*"

Pinkie: "Surprise!"

A party whistle sounds off, which comes from Eri, who is standing by Cheerilee, the local teacher for young colts and fillies.

Pinkie: "Hi, I'm Pinkie Pie, and I threw this party just for you! Were you surprised? Were ya? Were ya? Huh huh huh?"

Twilight: "Very surprised. Libraries are supposed to be quiet."

Pinkie: "Well, that's silly! What kind of welcome party would this be if it were quiet? I mean, duh, bo-ring! Y'see, I saw you when you first got here, remember? You were all "hello" and I was all *gaaaaasp*, remember? Y'see I've never saw you before and if I've never saw you before that means you're new, 'cause I know everypony, and I mean everypony in Ponyville!"

In the distance, at a corner of the party, stood Tenko, who overheard what the pink pony just said.

Tenko: 'Doesn't raise any red flags at all.'

He resumed drinking the punch from his cup and ignore the conversation.

Pinkie: "And if you're new, that meant you haven't met anyone yet, and if you haven't met anyone yet, you must not have any friends, and if you don't have any friends then you must be lonely, and that made me so sad, then I had an idea, and that's why I went *gaaaaasp*! I must throw a great big ginormous super-duper spectacular welcome party and invite everyone in Ponyville! See? And now you have lots and lots of friends!

All the while Pinkie was talking, Twilight was pouring herself a glass of "juice" into a chalice. She drank from a straw while Pinkie talked, until Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy and Applejack appeared. That's when the taste finally hit Twilight, and her muzzle scrunched up. She turned around, and her face was all red.

Applejack: "Are you all right, sugarcube?"

She jumped in the air, while her mane and tail turned to literal fire, and let out a loud whistle. Tenko approached the bottle of juice and looked at the label before Twilight rushed out of the main room and went up the stairs.

Pinkie: "Aww, she's so happy she's crying!"

Tenko: "Hot sauce..."

Pinkie tilted his hand and poured a bunch of hot sauce on a cupcake, then ate it all in a single bite. The others were watching with confused or concerned looks. Except Tenko, who was just thankful that he didn't grab that bottle by accident when pouring himself a cup earlier.

Pinkie: "What? It's good!"

Tenko just shook his head.

It was now a bit after the whole hot sauce fiasco, and Twilight was laying on her bed with her head under the pillow, trying to ignore the loud music playing. She looked at the wall clock and groaned. Suddenly, Spike walked in, with a fancy lampshade on his head.

Spike: "Hey Twilight! Pinkie Pie's starting "pin the tail on the pony"! Wanna play?"

Twilight: "No! All the ponies in this town are crazy! Do you know what time it is?!"

Spike: "It's the eve of the Summer Sun Celebration. Everypony has to stay up, or they'll miss the Princess raise the sun! You really should lighten up, Twilight. It's a party!"

Twilight mockingly imitates Spike, before the door is closed and she lays with her back to the bed.

Twilight: "Ugh, here I thought I'd have time to learn about the Elements of Harmony but, silly me, all this ridiculous friend-making has kept me from it!

She walked over to her window, which displayed the beautiful full moon, with the image of a unicorn mare on it's surface.

Twilight: "Legend has it that on the longest day of the thousandth year, the stars will aid in her escape, and she will bring about everlasting night." I hope the Princess was right... I hope it really is just an old pony tale..."

Izuku: "If she's as scary as you make her out to be, then so do I."

Twilight: "Gah!"

Unaware of her observer, Twilight drops the book on Nightmare Moon. Izuku approaches and picks it up. He gives it a read before handing it back to Twilight.

Izuku: "Sorry for scaring you, but I got worried when Applejack told me about the hot sauce. So. Nightmare Moon, huh?"

Twilight: "Yeah. Let me guess, you think it's just a legend or bed time story."

Izuku: "Not really."

Twilight: "Huh?"

Izuku took a glance at the moon, seeing some stars gradually getting closer to it. He then looked back at Twilight, who was staring at him, wondering why he didn't just think it was some silly fairy tale.

Izuku: "A couple weeks ago, I started getting this feeling. It told me that something bad was gonna happen, just not when or how. After some time, whenever I looked at the moon, that feeling just increased with each passing day. You see, I have this power that allows me to sense imminent danger, and it never let me down. If this Nightmare Moon is in any way related to that, then I have no doubt that it's real. And if you said that it's supposed to happen tonight, then we have to be ready."

Twilight was speechless. Nopony believed her story, and now here is this alien creature telling her that he believes everything she said i true. It made her smile to know at least somepony believed in her.

Twilight: "Thanks. I needed to hear that somepony other than me is taking this seriously."

Izuku simply smiled in response. A smile that brought yet another blush to Twilight's face. She had o admit, that even for a different species that she has never seen or heard of before, he was extremely cute.

Twilight: 'Wait, what?!'

Before anymore could be said, Spike came into the room once again.

Spike: "C'mon, Twilight, it's time to watch the sunrise! Oh, there you are, Izuku. C'mon, you don't wanna miss this!"

Everypony was now in the Town Hall, waiting for the big moment. Izuku was standing right beside Twilight, with the rest of his family close to him.

Pinkie: "Isn't this exciting? Are you excited, 'cause I'm excited, I've never been so excited— well, except for the time that I saw you walking into town and I went *gaaaaasp* but I mean really, who can top that?"

After Pinkie finished talking, the birds started singing, with Fluttershy right in front of them to make sure they were in tune. A light shined onto Mayor Mare, who was exiting from behind the curtains on the ground floor.

Mayor Mare: "Fillies and gentlecolts, as mayor of Ponyville, it is my great pleasure to announce the beginning of the Summer Sun Celebration!"

All ponies cheered. Even Eri and Inko joined in on the cheering. Twilight just looked unsure.

Mayor Mare: "In just a few moments, our town will witness the magic of the sunrise, and celebrate this, the longest day of the year! And now, it is my great honor to introduce to you the ruler of our land, the very pony who gives us the sun and the moon each and every day, the good, the wise, the bringer of harmony to all of Equestria..."

Before even finishing her speech, Twilight and Izuku both noticed that the mare on the moon had disappeared. Twilight grew nervous and winced, while Izuku remained calm but at attention, something Tenko took notice of but decided to leave it be. Fluttershy got her birds ready for a cheer.

Mayor Mare: "...Princess Celestia!"

Rarity pulled a rope that revealed... nothing.

Rarity: "Huh?"

The ponies started to get nervous and whispering about something happening.

Twilight: "This can't be good."

Izuku: "..."

Mayor Mare: "Remain calm, everypony, there must be a reasonable explanation!"

Pinkie: "Ooh, ooh, I love guessing games! Is she hiding?"

Rarity came out of the balcony.

Rarity: "She's gone!"

All the ponies and humans gasped, except Tenko, Izuku, Twilight and-

Pinkie: "Ooh, she's good."

Then she yelped when she spotted a dark mist forming at the highest balcony, followed by every other pony.

Twilight: "Oh no... Nightmare Moon!"

And so she revealed herself in all her evil glory. A crescent moon for a cutie mark, cyan cat eyes, completely black coat, a tail and mane that seemed to be made of mist, and wearing a blue helmet and some form of chest piece with her cutie mark engraved on it. Spike instantly fainted when he saw her.

Nightmare Moon: "Oh, my beloved subjects. It's been so long since I've seen your precious little sun-loving faces."

Everypony cowered as she talked, with the exception of a certain rainbow tomboy, that thought it would be a good idea to attack her. Thankfully, Applejack stopped her before she could.

Nightmare Moon: "*chuckle* Why, am I not royal enough for you? Don't you know who I am?"

Pinkie: "Ooh, ooh, more guessing games! Um, Hokey Smokes! How about... Queen Meanie! No! Black Snooty, Black Snooty-"

She was quieted when Applejack placed an apple in her mouth. Applejack is the true hero of the day, everypony!

Nightmare Moon: "Does my crown no longer count now that I have been imprisoned for a thousand years? Did you not recall the legend? Did you not see the signs?"

Twilight: "I did. And I know who you are. You're the Mare in the Moon – Nightmare Moon!"

All of the ponies gasped, with the human civilians giving confused faces, but still scared.

Nightmare Moon: "Well well well, somepony who remembers me. Then you also know why I'm here."

Twilight: "You're here to... to..."

She gulped nervously, before Nightmare Moon chuckled evilly.

Nightmare Moon: "Remember this day, little ponies, for it was your last. From this moment forth, the night will last forever!"

With evil laughter and thunder, the scene cuts to black.

Finally done. 1000 extra words (4000 normally). The episodes are longer than I thought.

If you spot any mistakes, don't be afraid to point them out. I'll correct them as fast as I can.

Nothing more to add here, so see you on "Friendship is Magic Part 2"
