"Y-yeonjun hyung..." was all Taehyun could say, gripping tightly at the magic book they worked so hard to retrieve to reach the older.
Just then, the dice in Soobin's hand glowed brightly engulfing them in its light. And they were all now back on that corridor of the hospital where they transported. All of them, still in shock, took a moment before they could get up from the floor.
"H-hyung, what do you think happened to Yeonjun hyung here?" Hueningkai hated to be the one to say this, because he doesn't want to believe what his brain is telling him. He wanted the others to tell him that what happened, meant Yeonjun woke up.
"That can't happen." Soobin mutters as he started to run, and all of them are now heading back to the area of their rooms. They stopped when they were finally near. None of their families who were looking for them knew they went back.
As they walked closer in front of Yeonjun's room, Soobin turned the knob that was left unlocked. When they pushed it open, they were met with the older's sobbing parents and the long note beep, which indicates what they all feared to happen.
"No... hyung can't possibly..." Taehyun backs up, he couldn't accept that outcome. He just can't...
"Y-yeonjun hyung?" Hueningkai choked a sob, looking at Yeonjun's mom wailing while hugging her son's body. His dad crying silently holding her.
"Why is this happening?" Beomgyu spoke, not realizing his tears falling.
"We worked so hard. H-how could you leave like that hyung?" Soobin blurts out wiping his tears that raced down his cheeks as the nurse opened the door to let them in.
The question of why they were soaked wet with purple came unnoticed as Yeonjun's father spoke.
"This wouldn't have happened if he just listened to me." Yeonjun's father tried any reason to blame for the situation while his wife shakes her head, wanting to hear nothing but her son's voice.
"Yeonjun hyung has always listened! He wanted to reach his dream. And maybe, none of this happened if you had listened to him instead. He wouldn't be-"
"Tae stop, don't... We're sorry sir." Soobin apologized as he pulled Taehyun back who couldn't contain himself.
Taehyun always had suspicions that the older has something serious he's hiding but he waited. Now he wished he hadn't waited and just confronted the older about it.
"-He wouldn't have been so disheartened to give up everything!" Taehyun still finished before pushing Soobin away and leaving.
The rest of them apologized as they ran after Taehyun.
"Taehyun! Hold it! What's wrong with you? How could you say that to his parents at that moment? We all know what happened but that's just not right." Beomgyu managed to grab his arm to stop him as Taehyun clenched at the magic book hard.
"I know... I'm sorry." Taehyun swallowed as Kai approached him, giving him a hug.
"We're all probably mad at what we've learned, but... nothing we do will change that now." Hueningkai says.
"I just... I saw that... in my dream." Taehyun started.
"What do you mean?" Soobin approached as Kai let's go, and Taehyun faced them.
"That day we all had weird dreams but Soobin hyung. The first person I called was Yeonjun hyung because I saw him dying in my dream. The exact same scenario that we saw in magic island in that field of flowers." Taehyun wiped his tears harshly.
"I couldn't say it out loud. I always felt that Yeonjun hyung was hiding something serious, since the moment we all met in the detention room. We all shared how we got there but Yeonjun hyung lied." Taehyun says.
"The piano..." Kai muttered and Taehyun nods.
"Remember how I got confused with which scenario actually happened to me, before going to the detention room? Us, dreaming of our memories made everything mixed up. What the students are gossiping about the music room... was about Yeonjun hyung." Taehyun sighs.
"I just don't understand why he has to hide it from us, all of it." Taehyun says exasperatedly.
"Well, hyung might feel the same way as I have when that jerk of a classmate I have keeps ruining things for us. Hyung wouldn't want to trouble any of us." Beomgyu says.
"Or make us worried for him." Kai added.
"Yeonjun hyung probably is trying to live up to everyone's expectation of him to be perfect. I know how it feels for people to expect so much from you, just because you were given a position. It could be nerve wrecking and difficult to handle." Soobin explains as they all nods.
"Are we just going to accept this?" Taehyun looks at all of them, who now held questioning looks at his sudden words.
"What can we do Tae? Hyung is... he's gone." Soobin looks away.
"But he may not be." Taehyun says as he moved towards a quiet corner making the others follow him.
Taehyun then squats down and placed the book down then rummaged through it pages.
"Uh Taehyun you don't mean-"
"Its exactly what I mean." Taehyun stops at a certain page cutting Hueningkai's sentence off.
"Hyung, the dice." Taehyun turned to Soobin who crouched down.
"Didn't you say this spell is tricky?" Soobin asks and Taehyun nods.
"But I'm willing to risk it. Don't you?" Taehyun looked at the others.
The idea of using the time spell is scary, a lot could go wrong and they all know that. However, would they just let it go? They have magic, if it saves Yeonjun then...
Whatever danger it entails, they are willing to risk it.
"Let's do it, I don't care what happens. I refuse to accept that Yeonjun hyung is gone." Beomgyu says firmly as he crouched next to Taehyun.
"I'm sorry Lea noona, I have to break my promise. I want us all to be together again." Hueningkai says as he squats on the other side of Taehyun.
"Hyung?" Taehyun asks Soobin infront of him, who brought the dice in between them as it glows.
"Let's save Yeonjun hyung." Soobin drew the dice close to the page as it glows brighter and the page looked like it held light itself in it.

"How do we do this?" Soobin asked reluctantly as Taehyun reads over the page.
"We need to go back in time to change a timeline not to save us time since there are 2 ways to use the spell." Taehyun mutters.
"What day is today?" Taehyun asks as he stared at the odd clock on the page with years, months and days.
Hueningkai answers him with the date and time as was indicated in the phone.
Taehyun then moved the wheel containing the months that encircled the clock, then stopping the month on the number it corresponds with on the clock.
"Someone move the year to where I moved the month and day." Taehyun says as he moved the wheel of days to settle the date to the month they are currently in, making sure that the point of the month settles on the date.
Beomgyu follows what Taehyun did with the year and settles the same way.
"So now what?" Beomgyu asks as Taehyun studies the clock again.
"To restart a certain timeline, it says to set how far back are we going back." Hueningkai sums as he read through.
"What time did you think was that when we we're in magic island?" Taehyun asks.
"Its definitely 5:53. It was blue hour." Beomgyu says.
"The thing is, can we really accurately set it to 5:53? There's barely any lines to signify a number count in between the 12 numbers." Soobin explains.
"We can try, the time here actually shows the current time now, so... since we're already risking it. Let's just try to set it, closest to that time and hope its actually right." Hueningkai says as he moved the hour hand, minute hand and second hand to what he thinks is close to 5:53.
"Wait, move it forward a bit. It might actually have been set at 5:50 and we find ourselves suffocating from the fire." Beomgyu moves the minute hand forward.
"Yeah, let's play it safe. This is a complex spell we're trying, out of desperation, with little to no study done yet. We can't go back to a tricky situation, even before the fire, since we don't exactly know how it started or if we can even stop it." Taehyun says.
"Anything else to know or keep in mind before I plunge this dice to this spell?" Soobin asks.
"I think everything was set correctly, hopefully." Taehyun says.
"So, are we ready?" Beomgyu asks as they all placed their hands once again on top of Soobin's. Taehyun's other hand, holding the book.
They then draw the dice to the surface of the time spell page, and the light grows brighter as they were engulfed with it.
The sound of clock ticking fast echoes... a voice echoes in the air...
"Little stars..."
