This is the second chapter of the triquel: Fiendish Friends! Eric Miller and his family are going to bed after a long day, with the promise of demolishing the hellhole of a restaurant tomorrow. But sometimes your nightmares ... can be as real as the nose on your face! 😬 I hope that you guys like it! 👍

—————

Meanwhile, outside the living room window, at the same time...

Unknown to Eric Miller and co, a few pairs of narrowed, hostile eyes were at that moment watching the family from outside the living room window. The moon riding high in the night sky was bright and clear; outlining the huge forms standing in the garden before the bush by the window.

Luckily for the newcomers, they were mostly hidden from inside view by the big bush itself. Almost as bright as the moon was the menacing grin on the face of Willy Weasel as he gazed straight at Eric Miller through the window.

The animatronic leader was currently surrounded by three of his crew: Gus Gorilla, Cammy Chameleon, and Tito Turtle. The three other robots all looked grim, and silently standing stock-still like their boss.

Willimeena Weasel was sitting quietly on Willy's left shoulder; all tense-looking and fidgety. All five individuals continued to gaze at the innocent, highly vulnerable family only a metre away, behind fragile glass.

"Awwww, look at that adorable, happy family, guys", the animatronic weasel drawled, his voice laden with sarcasm and barely disguised loathing. "Ain't that something, eh?"

The weasel pup's ears immediately flattened. She knew that particular tone of voice! Her father only used it when he was ROYALLY mad!!

Oh dear! Daddy's VERY angry! I do hope that it's over quickly, for everyone's sakes! Willimeena thought to herself, bowing her head sadly. That poor family's got no idea what's coming to them.

Meanwhile, Cammy, Tito, and Gus were all nodding along to their leader's sarcastic statement.

"They certainly are, Willy ... particularly when dissing our restaurant's commercial", the gorilla robot stated, his thick brow furrowing a lot. Cammy frowned as well.

"Yeah! So rude of them, we worked very hard making that!" she agreed, looking pointedly at all of the other people around her. They all nodded again, including Willimeena this time!

The little weasel smiled happily as she remembered happy memories of putting the colourful, playful commercial together with her father and adopted family.

Good times ... very happy times ...

"Right, Tito?" the pink chameleon continued, glancing at her sombrero-wearing colleague.

"Si, we did." Tito Turtle's normally cheerful eyes were now hard and filled with a cold, subtle anger. "And what's worse is that they're planning on destroying nuestra casa (our home)! ¡Sin avisarnos antes! (Without even telling us beforehand!)"

A deep, depressing silence suddenly fell upon the entire group of animatronics and doll at that.

———

Earlier that day, a few hours ago ...

After the Sheriff and his deputy had ordered the closure of Willy's Wonderland ... Tex Macadoo had quickly phoned up a local demolition firm. He asked the owner of it to meet him at the now closed restaurant, not knowing that he was overheard by Willimeena at the time.

Later on, Siren Sara, who'd then taken over scouting duty; witnessed the whole meeting between Tex Macadoo and the aforementioned demolition contractor: Eric Miller. She overheard everything about the planned demolition, the time assigned to it on the next day ... and then saw them officially shaking hands on it.

The animatronic fairy understandably was freaked out by the discovery, and ran straight back to tell the others. Sara's fellow crew members were shocked and aghast by the news, especially Willy! The robotic weasel was so furious that he had to recuse himself for a couple of hours.

Immediately, Ozzie Ostrich was sent to follow Eric Miller's vehicle to his home ... an easy task for an OSTRICH, lol! The instant that the aforementioned robotic bird found it, Ozzie went straight back to the gang to tell them.

A hour later, Willy, Willimeena, Tito, Cammy, and Gus had all turned up at the Millers' home ... to deliver revenge and 'justice'.

———

Back in the present, a minute later ...

"Exactly, my turtle friend", Willy Weasel purred, breaking the others quickly out of their combined remembrances.

"That's why we need to have a good chat with these would-be vandals and home-wreckers tonight, before the demolition. A good HARD chat", he stated, smirking as his gang caught onto the meaning and emphasis of the last sentence.

The three other animatronics suddenly looked dangerously excited at the prospect of their 'chat'. Gus began to darkly chuckle and crack his big knuckles together.

Cammy grinned, holding her gloved hands to her mouth with glee. As for Tito ... the turtle robot was sharpening his left claws on a knife in his right hand, his expression serene.

Willimeena looked a bit worried though. She then turned and gently patted the left side of her father's furry neck. This instantly caused the big weasel to turn his head and look down at the weasel doll, his smirk softening to a smile.

"Yes, Bia?"

"Please don't be very hard on the kids though, Daddy?" Willimeena pleaded softly, gazing with sparkly eyes up at the aforementioned weasel.

"After all, it's not their fault that their parents are home-wrecking meanies?" Willy sighed deeply, and then bent down to nuzzle his daughter's head a couple of times.

It was usually very difficult for Jerry to defuse his temper whenever he got REALLY mad, especially if he was staring the culprits in the faces! Arabia, though, always seemed to have a knack of dialling it down a notch or two.

I just don't know how Bia does it. Maybe because she's so adorable? Or maybe it's just my little angel being herself? thought the animatronic weasel, as he then closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

After a second, Willy exhaled quietly, and opened his eyes back up.

"Of course, Bia", he said reassuringly ... though with a wry smile. "Don't worry, we'll be gentle with them, I promise!"

Willimeena purred happily from the reassurance, nuzzling him back in return. The weasel robot then looked up at Gus, Tito, and Cammy; all of whom had adoring expressions on their faces as they looked at him and his pup.

"That's an order, guys" Willy stated seriously. "Be 'gentle' with the kids here, or else you'll have to deal with me and Bia ... and not necessarily in that order."

Willimeena Weasel wasn't a killer like her father, but she wasn't a wimp either ... and the rest of the animatronics all knew that!

"Yes, boss!" Gus immediately said, nodding in acknowledgement.

"Yep!" Cammy agreed happily. Tito raised an eyebrow, but nodded too.

"Sure! We can do that!" the turtle animatronic said, glancing over at Willimeena and winking. The weasel doll winked right back at Tito.

"Right, now get to it!" Willy Weasel then exclaimed, clapping his hands briskly and loudly together.

The sudden sound made all of the other robots around him jump and quickly stand to attention. Their leader's expression had now returned to the manic grin from earlier.

"Get to the parents first and fast before they raise the alarm! No exceptions!" he ordered, smiling evilly as his three crewmates instantly split up and went into hunting mode.

Gus headed towards the western wall of the house, while Tito and Cammy both tiptoed around to where the front door was. As he walked away, the animatronic turtle turned his head and glanced at his boss.

"Are you coming, Señor Willy?" Tito asked. Willy Weasel shook his head, and then inclined it in the direction of his daughter on his shoulders.

"No, Bia and I will stand guard outside and make sure that no one interrupts us", he explained, sending an meaningful look at Tito.

The aforementioned blue-grey animatronic nodded in understanding, then turned away and continued to follow Cammy. Willy watched them all disappear from view as he began to stroke Willimeena's ears comfortingly.

"I know that you don't like this, Bia, but we have to protect ourselves and our home", the weasel robot whispered gently as he continued to stroke. "They'll destroy us all, you as well, if we don't."

Personally, the little weasel doll didn't understand why the townsfolk would want to destroy her? She hadn't done anything bad to them? But her dad was very intelligent and always knew what to do about those things.

"I know. I understand, Daddy", Willimeena said softly, smiling a little at the bigger weasel.

How 'gentle' exactly do you guys think Willy and the others will be with Eric's kids? Also, do you think that 'power of cuteness' counts as a superpower? Vote and comment if you like it! 👍
